Amazing service friendly, fast and honest. I got quoted $965 at Honda for 4 tires, 35,000 miles on my Pilot. Haviland Auto put 4 brand tires on for half that without the wait time at Honda. I highly recommend them! And I will be back, thank you Haviland Auto!!!!

Scott at Haviland Auto is damn good at his business. He took care of my brake problem, quickly, efficiently and at a fair price. I really can t say enough good about these guys, they re great. I bounced around at big chain store mechanics after where I went my whole life, Hitman s auto, closed and it was terrible. Recommend for women like me that know nothing about cars and have had bad experiences at shops because of it; they explain without being condescending and there s zero worry about superfluous work. Have been going for years to Haviland Auto!!! Scott and Mark have fixed my car(s), dealt with my "noise" complaints and even got a great Honda CRV for me when the time came. They have been fair, honest and always willing to help me in a crunch. I am totally grateful for their helpfulness, strong work ethic and the great jobs they have done on all the different cars and "noises" over the years. Scott is a honest person. He will give you the best price. He can't control of the part's prices, so be mindful that he is telling you what the cost is. Oil changes are quick and easy. You can leave your car and go across the street to get a bite to eat or choose to stay around. A nice shop and never had an issue. I took my Highlander to another highly reputable mechanic in Poughkeepsie that I ve used before and they quoted me over $1,500 in repairs for work including replacing an engine mount and spark plugs. I took my car here for another opinion and came to find out the issue had nothing to do with my engine mount. My car was firing off 18 codes they said and they diagnosed it as some other engine part that needed replacing. They replaced that engine part and did my spark plugs. I spent less than $500 and was very pleased. This was back in November 2020. It is now May 2021 and my SUV has been running flawlessly since. I have been using Haviland Auto for 2 years. They expertise and genuine concern for their customers put them above the rest. Some garages will look for the most expensive way to fix your car and bleed you dry but not these guys. They will do what ever they can to HELP YOU save money and keep your car running right. This is a family run business and it shows by the great service they give to other families . I could go on and on about how blessed I am to have found such wonderful and skilled people but I am sure I would take up all the pages allowed for the review. THE BEST mechanic I have ever been to hands down. In the past many I've been to have attempted to take advantage, however when I went to haviland auto he was 100% straight forward and honest, and he really went above and beyond to save me money, and keep my car safe. In my 12 years driving I have never been to a better mechanic. From here on out I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you Haviland!!

Very good experience. Knowledgeable and friendly owner, Scott, told me the day and time exactly when I would probably have the shortest wait time and he was right. Great place! Scott went above and beyond to help me out. I went somewhere else and the man there told me I had no choice but to replace all four tires to leave the shop because my car had failed inspection. I called Haviland and Scott told me I qualified for a temporary inspection, and they were probably trying to squeeze a sale out of me. I, of course left the other place and had the work I needed done with Haviland. They won't lie to you to get you off their backs, and they also won't overcharge you. I would send my family here!

I recently moved from Miami to Hyde Park and needed to get my 2003 Camry inspected and ready for the New York winter. There was, however, a problem with the oxygen sensor that turned out to be a defect associated specifically with the 2003 Camry that I've known about and had been living with for 15 years. The defect caused the engine light to always be on, which was of no great concern in Miami (there are no inspections in Florida) but which rendered my car incapable of passing inspection in New York. Scott took on the problem and solved it quickly, a problem that had stumped a half dozen mechanics that I've brought the car to over the 15 years. The repair cost me all of 21 dollars!!The combination of talent, friendliness, extraordinary conscientiousness and honesty just blew me away! What a find here in the Central Hudson Valley!
