Excellent staff, great customer service. Atif, was my service representative and he was extremely helpful. He gave the best value for an oil change and new windshield wipers. Stellar service. Will definitely be back for my next service. Addendum**** originally I had a good experience but a few months down the line, my windshield wiper which was replaced by them came off without any force. The rep (wasn t Atif) shrugged his shoulder when I explained what happened and said I would have to pay for them out of pocket although I didn t have them for over 3 months. He said things happens and there was no warranty. He was dismissive and stated there 3 cars ahead and I would have to wait and it would 25 bucks for the replacement. NEVER willSupport this business again.

Great service shop with a friendly guy and playful banter.I recently moved to the area and needed to get my car's oil changed. I decided to try this Midas, as it had a fantastic rating, as well as a Groupon deal featured on Google maps. Although I didn't actually use the Groupon deal, I'm happy with the other options provided. When I mentioned the Groupon deal to Jerry, the service area manager, he kindly offered a few suggestions. He asked me a few questions about my vehicle and we proceeded to talk a bit more about unrelated things, but I'm glad we did. Given my limited free time, he told me that they do have a few deals going on right now which will save me some money in the long term, as well as time, and it was for a 3 oil change package.I'm so glad I decided to try them! The service was excellent, the speed of the oil change was fantastic, the price was hard to beat, and the conversation was really nice. Jerry was very friendly and welcoming. He even took the time to welcome me to the neighborhood when he inquired about what made me come in today and why I chose them. He genuinely tries to see what he can do to make the place better and to garner more (lifelong) customers. At least that's what I took from him asking about why I chose them. It was a pleasure speaking with him.The inside and outside atmosphere was extremely clean. The chairs and tables for customers to sit were laid out nicely. The parking lot was kept clean. The service area inside for the cars was also kept clean. To me, that shows pride in a workplace. See the photos I post.Overall, I had a great experience at Midas of Huntington. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable auto repair shop. Jerry, thanks again for the great conversation.Update 4 months later, Jerry no longer works there and there's a new manager.

Very nice experience. All individuals I dealtwith were courteous, respectful and helpful. The work they performed on my car was done very professionally. My car runs very smoothy now. They noticed several additional items wrong with my car but would not do the work until I confirmed them to. I was very pleased with my overall experience and look forward to bringing my car back to them for future service.

I came in for an oil change & Nasir helped me. He was professional and kind & courteous. I didn t make an app but he took in my car in quick and the wait time wasn t bad at all He communicated to me about any issues my car had (a complimentary service) Great experience & highly recommend!

Had to go here to get the bulbs for the brake lights replaced. The front desk person, Nasir, was very helpful and knowledgeable. The replacement just took an hour and they even fixed a wiring problem free of charge. Would definitely recommend their services.

I appreciate the quick service by Nasir and his team at Midas. I came in the get a tire patched. They took care of it quickly even though they were busy. I have some other service items that are due. I will definitely be bringing my car back to let them take care of these items.

Went into Midas with, what I thought, was a routine muffler repair. Nasir checked it out and showed me personally that it was much worse than I thought. Also found my rear brakes were shot. They did an honest assessment of the problems and fixed them efficiently and professionally. Great job!!

Midas auto repair is stellar! They fix your car up perfectly and even toss in free complimentary services & gifts. It's like they're not just patching up your ride, but also prepping it for the next big adventure. Total win in my book! Recommended For Suree!!!

The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He offered me courtesy service and explained what my car needs. The only thing they should improve is to be more transparent about price. They charged $12 for the additional 1qz of oil and $6 for disposal, which was not mentioned anywhere. Also if you use Groupon, remember that the tire rotation is not included.

Nasir was a big help with my oil change. I came in not knowing I had to drop off my car and wait as there were 3 people in front of me, but Nasir was able to service my car right away. Highly recommend

I have never seen such shady business practices. I dropped my car off for an oil change and they call me saying my new brakes are worn, my cabin filter is choked, and I need to replace my fluids. When I say possibly to the fluids he tries to rush me off the phone without giving me the price and when I ask how much that would cost he tells me 460.00. I was furious. When I went to get my car I asked him if I didn t ask what that cost would you have done 460 worth of work without ever telling me the price. No joke he smiled and said yes. If the customer doesn t ask it is their problem. Never never never go here. There are so many places that will change your oil.

Horrible experience - failed my inspection and reasoned me to get 2 new tires, brake pads changed, wiper blade replaced.An hour later got the inspection done from another mechanic across the street!Wonder if the receipt mentions somewhere about the inspection status and reasons too because the receipt they gave me doesn t - except recommendations to customer .Will take my business elsewhere.

I bought an oil change off of groupon, the hours that I selected were from 4-6, I called Midas to ask to make the appointment for after 5 due to my work schedule. The employee stated that I will not be able to do that and I need to be there the next morning at 8AM. They told me they did not have any apts after 5 for 2 weeks when I asked, after going back and forth they finally gave me an apt for the next day at 5 but Do not be a minute late or we are canceling . I arrived at 4:40 and when I got there I told the same man I spoke with on the phone that I arrived early because of what he told me over the phone, the response I got was Good for you, go have a seat. Once my car was in the garage being worked on, the employee wanted me to take a look with him at my car. The mechanic and the salesman (rude employee from before) stated I had a list of issues with my car. The two less expensive things were: a hole in my tire and my cabin filter were bad, so I agreed to patching the tire and changing the filters. He then went on to tell me that I work in the medical field that I shouldn t want to be breathing those horrible fumes in and that I should know better given my outfit I was wearing, which were scrubs. He than went on to tell me that my tie rod on my front passenger side was the worst he has ever seen before and also that my radiator was leaking coolant. I explained to him that I would need to speak with my dad before making these financial decisions, I am a 22 year old female. He was telling me that I don t take care of my car and that I should be scared that I let my car get this bad. Once I said something about my financial standpoint he tried to explain that he can put me on a payment plan, after shutting that down, he kept going. After my car was looked at, he brought me back inside to ring me up for the tire patch, and cabin vent. It went from a 50 dollar oil change to a 150 dollar fix. I asked him to break down the cost of the tire rod and radiator issues and he said he didn t feel comfortable giving me one since he couldn't be sure. I asked him again to give me a ballpark, he stated around $950 for everything. Being freaked out, I wanted to get another opinion given my experience at midas. I brought it to a mechanic that was trusted by my family and after looking at my entire underneath of my car, he stated that there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR. so thank you midas for almost scamming me of $950 to fix nothing.

The gentleman that worked there were very very sweet and super helpful.I know I have a bunch of problems with my car so rather than just let me go in for the specific problem I was having at the time they told me they would do a full work up for free and try to help me get my car back to factory.My car is super special to me so this experience overall was really helpful and hopeful.Highly recommend!

Went in for an oil change and was given a list of things wrong with my car. The oil change was quick which was great but they didn t top off the fluids in my car because they were dirty. Never had this happen ever and feel taken advantage of. I will not be going back to this Midas.

My visit to Midas turned a horrible and expensive mess into a very bearable and kind of enjoyable experience. These things happen where you do something stupid and have to spend money to fix your car! But the man, Nasser was so nice and knowledgeable and totally friendly and so helpful that it wasn t as bad as it could have been. He got to work right away on getting the car assessed, getting the rim repair guy to come over from Commack, and he gave me a ride home. I had to get home for the dog! The car feels great with the new tires and the wheel alignment. He said rim repair came out 100% restored. Very satisfied! And they have chocolate and snacks!!

Unusually good customer service. Sparkling clean facility. Good communication and explanation of problems with my car (there were many). Provided itemized estimate over the phone, which matched the written estimate at the shop. They said what they were going to do (complete rear brakes, timing belt/water pump, exhaust repair), and did what they said - even went a bit above and beyond. Good post-repair follow up to ensure satisfaction. Recommend.Services: Exhaust, Wheel alignment, Brakes

Nasir was very helpful in showing me what was wrong with my car and providing a plan to fix it. My car was very unsafe and they helped me fix leaks in my exhaust, brakes, suspension. Now my car is safe and ready to go

There's a reason we keep coming back. Today we brought in our older Camry because of a noise. Turns out it was the under-car lining rubbing against the wheels. They fixed it free of charge!
