Great service and customer care . Quick and easy. Very very fair prices. If you don t go to him you will be making a huge mistake. Felt very comfortable in the shop. Gabe Knows what he s doing and best mechanic and shop on Long Island. Very pleased.

OMG These guys are great! I am not from this area at all and just on a whim, I googled muffler repair in desperation to get my car fixed while waiting for a medical exam!I Basically noticed that they were nearly 5 stars on every review and I said heck what if I got to lose, it s 5 miles from here ! So I rolled up and he pulled me right in. Lifted my car - showed me the damage. Yes- showed me the damage -you heard me, right!! Quoted me a price beyond belief reasonable and asked me to have a seat in his waiting room and wait one hour, it was like a dream come true! I was able to ride my vehicle home 40 miles away with no anxiety, with no screaming noise in my ears -for dollars! Thank you again working six days a week does not give me a lot of time to worry about a car repairs, and I would drive 40 miles without hesitation again to have them fix anything else that goes wrong with my muffler!! Did I mention they were extremely kind and polite as well !Service: Exhaust

I read the great reviews for this place as I needed a leak / hole in a muffler repaired. They were able to take my car right away and then immediately got to work. They were efficient, professional, did a really good job (excellent) on the repair. All the reviews are right !.. This is THE place to go to for Muffler Auto repair. I am super happy with the work they did. Reasonable pricing, fast and efficient, polite and professional. I highly recommend Mufflers Auto Repair. 5 Stars !Service: Auto exhaust system repair

These guys are FANTASTIC - honest, efficient, and family run. I took my BMW here to have the 21 year old exhaust bolts removed and new hardware installed - they put her up on the lift, took a look, quoted me an incredibly fair price (other shops were quoting multiples of what they charged) and did the work in 20 minutes. I will be taking my cars here for any work I need. Excellent job guys!!!

These guys are the best on Long Island! Very fast and efficient! I ve visited multiple exhaust shops for minor welding and each one told me they can t do it. I took it this this shop and they were able to fit me in right away, took at least 15 mins to do the welds, and had me out right away! Not to mention the weld ACTUALLY looked amazing! Not some junk yard welding. Very professional and very friendly!

Outstanding service! New exhaust looks awesome and sounds amazing. Pipes installed and bike picked back up all within 2 hours from when I dropped it off at the shop. Thank you Tony! Congrats on new location.

I've owned my car for 5 years. Big Dog Automotive is the only place I take my car to for service. I'm a single female on Long Island and, it's hard to find a shop that won't take advantage of that and the fact that I don't know much about cars, which is why I will ONLY go to Tony. He is the most honest, hard working, knowledgeable mechanic I'd ever trust my life/car with. Reasonable pricing and fast service, I never have to wait days for my car to be serviced. Absolutely the best guy in the business!!

My car was reading a flat tire and I pulled into Elite Motorsports as I work a couple of minutes away and they were open.Kevin was amazing! He not only filled air in a couple of the tires but also fixed a leak around a patch(from before). He wouldn t accept any payment for his service. Makes me so happy that there are still kind people out there!

Tony (Big Dog) and his crew are everything you want in an auto mechanic. Experienced, professional, kind, and caring. They love their craft and treat your machine like one of their own. I ll travel from the city when I need work on my Ducati just to make sure it goes through this crew. Reasonably priced and the work quality speaks for itself. I needed a quick inspection and I found Big Dogs right near where I was staying. The owner tony answered right away, said I could bring it right in. It was done in less than an hour, no other issues or questions asked. I don t like going into shops where they ask me to get more work done and I don t know much about cars but I felt really comfortable here. The place was clean, the people were cool and it was a really effortless situation. I d go back here next time I m in the area definitely. These guys are the pros.

Tony has a wealth of automotive and motorcycle knowledge and treats his customers as he would his family and friends. He takes great pride in delivering quality results and fair pricing. Big dog auto... LET ME TELL YOU! This place is 100 percent where you want to be for repair/ service! Great location. Here you get Quality service. Timely.. your vehicle or bike won t be sitting here for 2-4 months. ( they are 1-2-3) Very detailed and thorough with auto and motorcycle. They don t just tell you what you need or what they are gonna have to do. They walk you through everything and make sure you understand and are comfortable with everything before hand. Best prices I ve dealt with on the island. Most of all these are down to earth good people you feel comfortable with. Very trust worthy place. 5 stars man! Thank you Big dog! I ll be back soon with my other auto toys!

I recommend Tony and his crew to everyone. They are super honest, friendly and knowledgeable. They make sure you are on the same page with the work that will be done, and are very reasonable. This is the first shop I have been to on Long Island where I don t feel like I will be scammed, they really care about their customers!

This is an awesome shop. I brought my Harley Davidson for oil change and fluid flush. Tony, did a great job with the bike, not only it runs great, I noticed it is more responsive. I then brought my 2002 Aprilia to Tony to check it out because it was leaking fluid. He kept the motorcycle overnight and called me with good news, the bike sat in the garage for a while and he said that could have caused the leak from the overflow, he added that the seal for the slave clutch needed to be replaced and showed me how to do it on my own. By the time I drove back home from the shop, the bike stopped leaking fluid from the overflow, of course I still have to replace the clutch seal as Tony advised. Tony is not only very knowledgeable with tons of experience, he is also very honest. I had my share of disappointments with the dealerships, as I am sure many have, but from now on, I will only go to Big Dog.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

I brought my Ford Ranger that was seized in 4th gear over to Tony at Big Dog Automotive. Most mechanics would have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge and charged me a fortune. The guys at Big Dog were able to get the transmission fixed without rebuilding it and had the truck back to me within hours. Very professional, quality repairs and maintenance. I have been here twice. The first time they went through my car with a fine tooth comb after fixing what was wrong. When I bought a used car Big Dog Automotive was the first place I brought it to be assessed and I couldn't be happier. I absolutely will not let anyone else even look at my car. I've never met any mechanic team that is so honest and informative especially with women. Many mechanics get over with females but not this one!!!!I can't put enough positive comments for them. Will always have my car brought to them no matter what!!!!

Honest, reliable, great prices, knowledgeable and personable. Tony, Paul and the staff are expeditious and no BS. Been using them for a few years now for anything from brake jobs to simple inspections and have had nothing but great experiences. After being pushed back for service from my regular motorcycle shop over a month i gave Big Dog a shot. Took my motorcycle and they had it completely serviced with new tires, battery, brakes , oil and took care of the error code within 3 days. This was my first experience with Tony and Paul and they were great. They showed a real interest in understanding and resolving the problem I had with my 150 CC scooter. Apparently no job is too small and they gave my issue the attention I would have only expected for one of their long term VIP customers. I highly recommend and will be back.

Brought my 04 Electra Glide in for a problem I've been working on for over a month. Finally gave up and dropped it off at Tony's. He diagnosed it and had it repaired in a couple of hours. I stopped by on a rainy day for a quick pit stop. My maintenance light was blinking when I turned my car on. Big Dog s staff helped me straight away. Paul came over to my car in the drizzling rain and addressed the issue. He explained that the maintenance light is not to be of concern but if the check engine light goes off, that means a problem needs to be addressed. I was in and out within ten minutes! Thank you, Big Dog Autobody!

Never ever am I disappointed when I come here. Tony and Paul take care of my car as though its thier personal vehicle. Noone do I want dealing with my car except them and that includes the dealer!!!.I always go by what Tony tells me and hes never wrong. He always checks more than what I bring her in for.I will never go anywhere else!!!
