These guys are top notch. Very down to earth, reasonable, personable, honest. In this day and age, it s hard to find those qualities listed. Chris took care of my wheel alignment, informing me about a frozen nut on the control arm and an inability to adjust camber without damaging the control arm bushing. Most shops wouldn t even bother telling you or they would actually damage the bushing and then put you on the hook for a new control arm. He also informed me of a loose wheel well cover and went so far as to secure it with tie wraps until I am able to get it repaired correctly.Highly recommend these guys.Service: Wheel alignment

Went here rather than going to the other places near me as I was searching for a positive experience vs one that was slow and tedious. This shop is very close to my home so I figured I'd give it a shot.Notable experiences:The interior of the shop was heated, there were books to read, and it was isolated from excessive noiseThe owner was amazingly professional and courteous. He helped me get the information I needed, there was some pleasant back and forth, and he was in good spiritsThere was enough parking outside to accommodate parking and the area was easy enough to get to and too high trafficAll in all, it did take over 3 hours to get my car inspected, but, to be fair, there were a lot of inspections and end of year service routines for a lot of cars that were pending before I even got there (830am on a Thursday is when I arrived). dropped my car off to get inspected, the owner even offered to allow me to borrow a loaner to get back home (something NONE of the other shops do for routine services).I'll continue to come back here as it was pleasant and the owner was honest with me vs giving me some BS.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I tried to get my truck aligned at 4 different shops all of which said no due to the width of my wheels. Took it to a Goodyear and they made it worse, house of tire was the only place around that would and could do an alignment for me. I was recommended to this shop by my brother who is in law enforcement. He has been and still is an active long term customer. I too albeit from a far, will be a long term returning customer. Kurt and his incredible crew of real Mechanic's took tremendous care of me and my 2016 Ford Explorer Sport on Friday Nov 25th. I came in due to an oscillation feeling from the tires. Felt like more than unbalanced. They discovered an issue with the hub centric rings and that was resolved. While they performed a road test, they discovered another issue that I heard but did not think much of. Turns out the lower control arm ball bushing was in defect and so they saved me a ton of grief down the road and repaired it, in addition to a proper 4-wheel alignment. Words cannot describe, how well I was treated and taken care of. Hewlett House of Tires is a gem. Shops like this are extremely hard to find anywhere these days. I live in southeast Massachusetts but I will make my way to this place when I think something isn't right, so long as it is safe to drive it.Kurt, you and your crew are amazing and I am forever grateful.Kudos,PS, I recommend them severity

I rarely leave reviews but this is a great efficient, professional and trustworthy place for your car troubles. I was in and out so fast for a tire problem. I live all the way in Brooklyn but I do not mind coming back to them in the future when needed. OVERPRICED...took the entire day to diagnose problem, was charged for 2 hours of supposed labor, ended going to another place that charged me 1/4 of what they were gonna bill me for...sad for the $175 paid , but thanks for nothing

Great service very professional and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. Had all 4 tires replaced on my leased Infinity due to terrible balding which multiple people had noticed. Also had one leaking. I explained the lease was up in 4 months. I was offered a decent tires. Not to expensive. I was even driven back to work by one of the mechanics. Very professional did a great job but little pricey. Tire rack website showed installation cost is $72 but after the installation he charged me $111 including tax when I asked him about it he said they have increased the price and didn't update in the website. They should have told me when I called to make the appointment.

These guys do not fit the stereotype of mechanics. I do most of the work on my own car, so when I take it to a shop I appreciate service that knows what they're talking about and are honest and respectful. They call you to follow up with updates and for your approval on work. They do great service and are straight up with you. Prices can be more than you're used to but not unheard of. If you believe that you get what you pay for, your money is safe here.

These guys are great. Kurt is honest and organized. He or one of his mechanics will call you with the price before the work has begun. They even have loaner cars that can be used. Kurt has ordered parts for me that have arrived the same day so I can have my car ready for the evening as I work night shift. I love this place.

Service was great (as it always is) and all repairs and issues were explained to me in advance so I could make an informed decision. They even showed me defective work from a dealership where I got my other car they were not doing work on so I was able to bring it back to get it repaired for free. I'd trust nobody else but Kurt and his team. They have always been extremely honest and trustworthy. The job always gets done correct the first time. This is by far the best mechanic in the area. Kurt, the owner, is knowledgeable, nice, funny, and efficient. The guys here do great work. They also provide free loaner cars which is great. Kurt has helped me out so many times that the list is endless. If you want personal, professional, and efficient service, come to house of tires. If you want subpar service, go to a chain or a dealer. I love this place.
