What a Great place to buy a vehicle. Our son bought his first truck there and know pressure at all. Needed a repair couple months after he bought it John even though the warranty ran out fixed it I highly recommend buying from them and will again. Great customer service.

We recently purchased a Rav4 for our daughter. Jon ( owner ) went above and beyond to : source the car, inspect it for issues, meticulously clean it and deliver it for us! We are in our late 60's and this was the best service and car purchasing experience we have ever had. Highly recommend.

Just purchased a 6th pre-owned automobile from Jon Cullinan/Battenkill Motors. The vehicle was delivered in superior condition at a very reasonable price. The transaction was seamless; handled by very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Five stars is not enough!

Dave was nice but he lead me on and at the last minute told me the jeep I wanted was sold he knew I wanted that one and I sent him everything he wanted and he never told me until the last minute sorry we sold it he offered other cars but why not tell me instead of stringing me along. Hope that's not how they usually do business I am disappointed and decide to purchase some where else . Other ppl may have had a good experience good for them but I felt the opposite . In each my email I indicated the jeep was what I wanted it was the miles and price range. I purchase many cars and never had one sold right from under me .

I purchased a 2018 Chevy Equinox two days ago and I love it. I originally was looking at something else but the payments were a little higher than I cared due to the age of the vehicle. So Dave reached out a day or two laterand he said he had two other similar SUVs that would work with my budget. I did my homework and let him know I was interested and he had the car washed and detailed and I liked it more than I expected. I was there for a total of 35 minutes (including test drive).and drove it home that day. Best buying experience I've had and no buyer's remorse here. Their prices were good and they gave me a very fair amount for my trade-in. I would highly recommend them and will to my friends and family. Glad I accidentally found them through CarGurus. Exceptional customer and sales service! I have purchased every vehicle from Battenkill over the last 5 years and I ve never been disappointed. Great trade-in value and quality vehicles. If you re looking for a great used car at a fair price - Battenkill is your place. Still strongly recommend for the exceptional sales and service I have shopped here as a first time car owner to an experienced buyer. David and his team have always been helpful and honest every time I ve shopped for a new car.When you are looking for a car dealer or looking to make any purchase, it s important to go somewhere you trust. I have entrusted them many times and I would do it again - I d also recommend them to anyone looking for that same experience.

Dave was awesome! We were across the street looking at a Cherokee and as we pulled out on a test drive we saw one on their lot that was exactly what we were looking for. We canceled our test drive and went to see Dave. He was professional and not pushy at all! Took our information that night and the next day had it ready for us to pick up. Very reasonable trade offer. The process has NEVER been this smooth. 100% would recommend and we will return.

I usually buy new cars , but after buying a car from Battenkill Motors I may have to change this habit. My buying experience was far more satisfying than any of the visits to new car dealers in the past. There was no hard sell, and the sales manager, David Peek, was a pleasure to deal with. We got a great deal on a used car; the neighbors were astounded to hear it wasn't new. The car was detailed, with new tires and full tank of gas. I would happily buy another car from this business.

I did not buy the car, but with very poor credit, and a solid selection of vehicles, they put me in the car I wanted, as well as approved my small loan. David is absolutely the best guy in the local business of selling cars, he was kind, funny and very helpful. I will be recommending this dealership to everyone I know, as it was recommended to me, I figured they need a solid review , this is worth the drive if your not local and if your local why go anywhere else. Thank you David for all the advice and help.

Best dealership I've ever dealt with. Friendly staff. Dave goes above and beyond accommodating customers. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Best purchasing experience I ever had. The entire process was so easy, we came back and bought another car a month later. Genuine nice people. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I needed an all wheel drive car and I remembered that a friend of mine bought a car from Battenkill Motors and was and still is very happy so after seeing a vehicle on there website she referred me to Dave at Battenkill Motors and it was the easiest car purchase I ever had and the best part was he got me the lowest interest rate I ever had even lower then the company that holds my Mortgage for over 15 yrs and held the loans on two cars I had paid off. I Highly recommend that you give them an opportunity for your business.

I bought my first ever dealership car from Battenkill Motors back in August 2015 and I can't say enough great things about the experience. David broke down the numbers for me and made everything so easy--I went to see the car on a Saturday, the intention being just to LOOK at it and...well, low and behold I ended up driving it home a few days later. I have no regrets! The car is exactly what I wanted and David was readily available to answer any questions or concerns I had.

I've had an excellent experience working with both Jon and David at Battenkill Motors. I had been searching for a Wrangler for a number of months and was able to find just the one I had been looking for, and the price was right! Jon and David weren't pushy, were able to answer all of my questions (and promptly!), they took care of all of the paperwork for me ahead of time and were both very friendly and pleasurable to work with! They made the process easy and streamlined for me which I really appreciated. I came all the way from Burlington, VT and they made the trip/experience worth it! Now I have the Wrangler of my dreams all thanks to their service and help!

I have purchased two cars from Battenkill motors, one in 2017 and one in 2020. They are a top notch independent dealer. Both times they were professional, friendly, expeditious and helpful.Can't recommend them enough!

I have had such a good experience with these guys over the past couple months, I cannot recommend them enough. I bought a car from them in July and this was my first car buying experience (aside from buying off people's lawns lol) and could not have gone any more smoothly. They have gone above and beyond to help me get in a safe and reliable vehicle. I will be referring all my friends to this place for their future car needs, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for genuine and quality service and good, clean, well-maintained used cars.

Definitely recommend Battenkill Motors. Dave totally helped me out. Went in on a Monday late morning took a test drive and then went in to make a deal, there was no pressure put on me and what a great experience it was. Not only did i get the car i wanted but Dave took care of all the financing and got me a payment that was way lower than i ever thought it would be. This was by far the best and quickest car buying experience i ever had. Thanks again Battenkill Motors

I bought a Nissan frontier from them a year ago and the truck ran like new. I had to change vehicles considering that I had an addition to the family a month ago. These guys are all wonderful in helping people find the vehicle they need. You don't get the aggressive salesman tactics from them as you would from most dealerships. They are the best you will find in upstate New York.

I cannot say enough about my experiences buying a car from this dealer. I will not purchase anywhere else. David is terrific and most of all honest. I have purchased three cars from them in the last two years and it's always been a great experience. Most recently, I had sent David out to find a very specific car to replace the RAV 4 purchased from them a few years ago. It wasn't a car that they normally carried, but within 6 weeks, they found the car I was looking for which I purchased site unseen (that's how honest and reputable I believe them to be). A minor issue cropped up and Jon put me in a loaner SUV for the 5 days they needed to locate the part and complete the repair. I got my car back cleaner than when I brought it in for the repair! Anyone looking for a great used car and honest deal should be taking the drive to Battenkill Motors.

I was recently on a mission to find a specific car. I spent a great deal of time visiting dealerships and was in communication with at least a half dozen. Originally, Battenkill did not have the car I was looking for, but I was pleasantly surprised when Dave contacted me and told me that he had found what I wanted and had already had it brought to his dealership. That's great service and initiative. Even though I had looked at that same car at many different dealerships, Battenkill offered me not only the best deal, but absolutely fantastic service. Other salesman at other dealerships tried a variety of tactics that bordered on bullying and flat out lying to get me to buy their car. At Battenkill, I was treated as if their reputation mattered a great deal to them. They were very kind, no pressure, no sly sales gimmicks. They did everything they said they would and faster than predicted.If they didn't know the answer to a question, they said so, and found out. I had an awesome experience and would recommend them to anyone.

We had been looking all over the area for a Mazda Miata, and after much research and a couple of visits to indifferent new Mazda dealers, we finally found Battenkill Motors and David Peek immediately greeted us and showed us the only one they had on the lot. What a pleasure! There was no pressure but full attention to us and our purchase. David gave us a good offer, and the promise to put on new tires and detailing, and have it ready the following week. It was ready: the Miata looks spectacular. Frankly, it's better than new. We've bought many cars over the years and undoubtedly, this was the most pleasant car-buying experience I've ever had.

This is the best Used car dealership in the area! I recently bought a 2016 Subaru Outback from them and it s the 4th vehicle I have bought from them over the past 10 years. I live in Saratoga and I drive by a dozen car dealerships on my way to Battenkill Motors. All of them sell and service nice cars and I m sure they would have what I wanted. My point is I m willing to go out of my way to do business with someone I trust, that prices cars fairly and stands behind what they sell with great customer service and one of the best mechanics in the area. Jon has earned my business and I will continue to recommend Battenkill Motors to my friends.

We had a deer accident during the 2020 COVID Pandemic. Dave and John were open and had a car we were interested in. Our house to Battenkill was about 2 hours one way but, we worked out a few details before our first trip. Both Dave and John were upfront and easy to work with. The car was exactly as described and my father even commented on the quality of the vehicles on their lot. We ran into a couple hiccups during the purchase that were handled with great communication. These minor inconveniences were another demonstration of the "people" behind the sale. Dave was upfront with the issue, had the solution in progress, and was in constant contact with the progress. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Don't bypass Battenkill when you are shopping for your next used vehicle.

Dave was great. He gave me a good deal on a car and made sure everything was perfect with it for me. Shopping for used cars can make you feel uneasy... I definitely did not feel that here. I would recommened this business to anyone looking for a used car and will be returning myself in the future.
