It s hard to find honest mechanics, especially compared to some of the crooked shops in Delmar. I was thoroughly pleased with TACS. They are very organized and the only surprises I found were good ones like a lower bill. I highly recommend.

I honestly don't know why I haven't done this sooner. If I could give TACS 10 stars I would. This is the first shop I've ever brought my car to where they are completely honest and NEVER try to mislead me. When I bring my car in to be fixed, an employee will walk me through what needs to be fixed and why (in terms I understand). Every employee I have interacted with has always been extremely polite and professional. I will never bring my car anywhere but TACS!!

These are some great mechanics. They worked me in quickly and were honest and fast. They will be the only place I bring my suv for repairs and maintenance.

Brought my vehicle here for front end damage repair, and they did a fantastic job, car looks great and they were very courteous and helpful through out the process. They worked directly with the insurance company so it was a great painless experience. Highly recommend.

I brought my car to TACS to be repaired after an accident last year. I had gone to an autobody shop recommended by the other persons insurance company, I was less than thrilled but when I tried to schedule the work they ignored me and then it never went anywhere. I decided to reach out the TACS to see if I could use them and they handled EVERYTHING! Once they had the claim number they set everything up even my rental. I just got my car back yesterday and they cleaned it on top of all the repairs and I am just so happy with this experience!

We ve been going to TACS for years and they honestly treat you like family. They do not run their business with only making money in their mind (although that s okay too obviously) but they go above and beyond to help you. They ve literally helped me figure out what to do with another business instead of bad mouthing them or trying to get me to come to them. They took care of me when I had a car accident. Cannot recommend them enough.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I came to TACS for collision repair which also required re-paint with a custom color. My car looked brand new after. They finished faster than was planned, were professional and communicated during the process. My car was broadsided by a deer. I was 5 miles from TACS and I had a good experience with them in the past so I had my car towed there. I am impressed by their new facility. They were professional, caring, and called to let me know what to expect every step of the process. It was 2 weeks from the time of the accident until I picked up my car. That is definitely timely. The body work is superior. My car looks brand new. You'd never know that it had been hit. They must have detailed the interior before giving it back to me because it looked clean and polished inside. Chris, the Office Manager, was great as were all of the employees I had contact with. I highly recommend TACS to anyone for heir automotive needs.Service: Body & Trim

Very nice. Drop box for keys. Can wait if needed. State inspections, oil changes. Car was hit by a tree and they handled all the repairs and interactions with insurance. Very professional. Calling when needing approval of work to be done. Estimates on future work. They're usually booked pretty far in advance

We sent our car to TACS after hitting a deer and they were great to work with every step of the way. Despite significant damage, the car came back looking like new and in better condition than pre-collision thanks to the cleaning they gave it (seems like they even found the Cheerios out 4 year old hid throughout the seats). Part delays kept the car in the shop for a while (thanks Covid) but TACS provided regular updates and even covered a gap in rental coverage without being asked. Will be using them again and would absolutely recommend.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

Two body shop experiences with TACS. Beautiful work both times. One time insurance paid (hit a deer), and all the paperwork and communications were very smooth. Also, no issues at all when I paid for minor damage on my own. Very satisfied with TACS all around.

The exceptional quality of work and customer service keeps me going back to TACS. I trust my car with them and I trust that they will give me a fair price. They're great at explaining what my car needs without talking over my head or down to me. I had my inspection done last month and was in and out in no time - they take great care of their customers!

Their work and price is reasonable. Dropped my car off a few days earlier than my appointment for convenience, they had it ready the next day, way ahead of when it was scheduled. Highly recommend. All around a great place with great people.

I absolutely recommend bringing your car to TACS Auto! They have always been so helpful and honest with me about my car. They even squeezed me into their schedule when they were fully booked because I was scared to drive my car anywhere. Such wonderful staff! You can tell they really care about people.

The guys at TACS are real! They're all super sweet, honest and just awesome people! If you're looking for an excellent experience without any hassles this is the place for you. They did great work on my brands new vehicle and I'm happy to say I'll be telling everyone about it.Brian, Kevin, and Matt you guys are the best! A++ for Chris always having an answer for every single question no matter how extensive it was!Will not go anywhere else!

I had some work done on one of my cars with this business. These guys are great. Took care of all my concerns and at a reasonable pricing. Everything was explained and as to why it needed to be done. They will not suggest any thing that you will not 'need' to have done. No high pressure sales, and a very friendly atmosphere. I did not know that they offered as many services as they did, thought they only did collision repair. Not at all, they do almost everything you need to repair or service your vehicle. I will be going to them as my vehicle repairs are needed.

Seeing some of the work they did on a 68 Charger near the rear quarters it's a lot of water and rust under that paint not too impressed Actually I don't even want to rate them maybe a -2 otherwise I seen a truck that was painted 30 years ago still looks as good as the day they painted it I'm not going to mention any names but I was impressed in that.

We are new to the area, so when we needed some minor body work on our van, I just searched online for body shops near me and chose TACS honestly just because their website looked like they were a very professional business. We didn t know anything else about them.Sure enough, they are pros. Everything about TACS was EXCELLENT! And as the parents of 2 little kids, it was a very welcomed and appreciated surprise to find that the van was even cleaner inside when we picked it up than it was when we dropped it off! We may be new to the area, but now we have a body shop to recommend.Service: Body & Trim

TACS is an awesome family owned business who really care about providing great service. They are super friendly and helpful. As a woman, I really love that they don't try and sell me extra stuff because I don't know about cars. I totally trust them. If they say I need something done with my car, I know it's true. They never try to add on extras to make more money. Great business and highly recommended.

This is one of the best places to bring your car in the Capital District. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for a few years at this point. I came to them because I needed some body work done on my car and not only were they a pleasure to deal with, the repair was done perfectly and on time. It was easy to work with them and my insurance company. I was more than thrilled when they started to expand their business to take mechanical work as well. I brought my next car purchase to them to have them look over it before making a decision to purchase and have brought it to them for everything from oil changes, to more complex issues. The nice thing is, they are not out to get your money like most places, only once have they advised me to take my vehicle somewhere else because they did think it was in their wheelhouse (issue with transmission that was handled by the dealership). They are truly an A+ company!

This establishment really goes above and beyond for their customers. I couldn't be happier with my decision to get my car repaired at TACS. My insurance company was extraordinarily difficult to deal with and without everyone at TACS working hard for me, nothing would have gotten done. A HUGE thank you to Kevin and his team for everything they've done to help me.You won't regret going to TACS.

Unbelievable service. The guys at TACs are always so helpful. I pulled in 15 minutes before closing and they serviced my car right then and there. They take the time to explain everything - such as the difference between synthetic and regular motor oil and why I should be using the less expensive product for my car (based on mileage and other factors). They've won a lifetime customer through integrity and good intentions.

TACS Auto is great, I recommend them to anyone looking to get service done. All the employees I've dealt with have been very friendly & professional. Very fair prices & wonderful service. If you need auto body work or service done, this is the place to go! The owners are very honest & great guys.

I would like to thank Matt and everyone else at TACS for such great help. Our car was involved in an accident and needed an estimate and repair. However the damage was too much to be repaired. Even though TACS was not getting paid anything from the free estimate we were able to leave the vehicle there until we decided what we were doing. I would reccomend them to anyone, they are very pleasant helpful and even still offered help and advice while we were leaving . It is great to see such hometown service without asking for anything in return. I would recommend them to anyone who wants good honest service which is great to see these days.Thank Again!!

TACS was a lifesaver when I moved to the area! I went to the Kia Dealership when my radio went out, and they quoted me $700 to fix the radio and told me my car needed over $1000 of maintenance work. I got the sense they were trying to screw me over since I am a young woman, so I left and took my car to TACS. They installed an aftermarket radio for me and confirmed that 3 out of the 4 maintenance items the dealership suggested were unnecessary. They took care of my radio and brakes the same day and were so kind and fun to talk to while I hung out in the waiting room. I live in Troy and still drive out to Glenmont for them to do oil changes/tire rotations because I am so thankful for the way they've treated me. Would recommend TACS to anyone!

Matt and his family run a great shop. Not only can they help you with fixing your dents, they also handle service work. You can even ask about car rentals for long term jobs. He'll work with your insurance company (and theirs) to make sure you're completely satisfied with your vehicle when all is said and done. Great Service!

I went to tacsauto body today to have a estimate done on my mirror as I was sitting there a I overheard them talking to a elderly women to discuss her car with a gentleman there I was blown away how nice they treatedher they explained everything to her probably took a half hour . She also had a rental car that she was having trouble with the mirrors not adjusting correctly the gentleman said I would be more than happy to come out and make sure that they are adjusted correctly for you so you are safe . These guys are extremely professional I would not bring my car anywhere else even know I have not had the work done yet I am almost positive it's going to come out perfect I have never seen such great customer service before that I auto body shop in this area

Hands down the best service out there. My wife's brand new car was the unfortunate recipient of a series of pebbles that fell off of an empty dump truck, dinging her car in multiple areas. By going to TACS, not only did we get quick, excellent work (you can't even tell there was any damage!), but we literally saved $250 by avoiding the dealer shop. Simply the best!
