I've traveled 35 miles to get any type of exhaust work done on my Honda Accord because this Monroe Shop has the best welder in the upstate area. I reside in Rochester where dozens of exhaust shop(s) are available and quotes were double! Courteous staff and excellent work at a very reasonable price! Geneseo Monroe muffler is the best option for your car needs!

Monroe auto is the best place in geneseo. Erin T. The manager does an outstanding job! Treats everyone like family and gets everyone in and out in a timely manner. Very pleased with the service and the employees. Will definelty come back in the future.

Monroe auto has the best service out of every auto locations in geneseo. Has excellent staff including Ryan, who was nothing but helpful. He addressed all of my issues and concerns. Great employee.

I am not a regular customer and will not return because I do not live in this area, but when I had serious issues with my front brakes they got me into a last minute appointment. They got the parts delivered quickly and I was in and out in under 40 minutes. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and my car is doing great, I'd absolutely recommend Monro in Geneseo.

Monro kept my appointment time, were courteous and professional, treated me well, and finished their work promptly, while I took a nice walk. Reasonably priced also. I had a very opposite visit at their competitor Mavis right across the street the day before. Very refreshing, and like night and day. Thank you Brian and Monro!

I went to Monroe 11/22 for a scheduled oil change appointment. I told the worker I heard a loud humming noise and thought I needed a new wheel bearing. When I picked my car up they said they did the oil change and there was nothing wrong with the wheel bearing, or anything else with my car. Since Thanksgiving was 11/24, I took my car to the dealership I bought it from on 11/25 and explained my situation. After working on my car for two days, I had to get new rear rotors and rear break pads, and new wheeling bearing on the right rear, AND an oil change because there was a leak because Monroe installed a Non factory Oil plug in my car two days prior. Overall extremely disappointed as I spent over 100$ on an oil change at Monroe and they could not even do it correctly. I am currently a full time college student, and drive my car everyday. I expressed my concerns at Monroe with the loud noise of my car, only to have the dealer immediately identify the problem.

The office manager was awesome. Very polite and informative all around. Nice personality. I m glad you hired him. He s really great at what he does. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

I was 7 hours from home, with a darn nail in my tire! It was less than 1 hour until closing, but they fixed it for me and got me safely back on the road. I'm so grateful!

I wish I could do less than one star. I bought tires on the Goodyear site and paid for service there as well. I showed up to my scheduled appointment and the guy at the desk was adamant that I didn't have an appointment and that my tires where not there and had nothing but attitude. I showed him the confirmation number and he said "that was worthless to him". I called the Goodyear number and they told the clerk over the phone when he should have received an email. He magically found it and found my tires in the back. Then he had no idea how to process anything. While I was in there, there was multiple issues with other customers and they all got the same attitude. My truck didn't see a lift until 5:45 for a 5:00 appointment and the work wasn t done till 7. I am an extremely busy person hence why I made arrangements like this. I will not be going back here and I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone.

Saved some random Canadians! We were stranded with engine misfires while visiting Lechworth State Park for camping. After calling a few local mechanics, nobody would commit to helping us out quickly as we had to get back home. These guys took care of us quickly and respectfully and we really appreciate their help!

I bought a new set of tires a few months ago at another Monro location and recently ran over a nail, popping the tire. I called and Monro was able to get me in the same day to get my tire fixed (under warranty, which is awesome) at no cost! The process was super quick and only took minutes, and all of the employees, especially the one at the front desk, were super nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend getting tires here with a warranty because this has been a wonderful experience which made the problem free of stress, and I drive happy knowing that Monro will have my back, even if the roads don t!

Full synthetic oil change $94.99? It s pricey, But, okay. Trying to sell me a $20 cabin filter for $42.90 and a $20 engine filter for $53.43? Blaming the shop up the street for price gouging? That s some shady business.

Monroe was very busy on the Friday when I stopped in. I was extremely pleased with the quick attention Corey, the Manager, gave to me even though I didn't call ahead or have an appointment. Within a short amount of time he determined a muffler and tailpipe was needed. He was very courteous, showed me what was needed and said I could bring my car in the next day even though they were busy. The next day my car was quickly serviced and I was on my way...very pleased. I certainly would recommend Geneseo Monroe. You couldn't find more courteous attention to service in a timely manner.

** This is an updated review - I gave them another chance, and my experience today was definitely worth it. Very polite. I walked in to make an appointment, and was able to get one 4 days away. The quality of service and care was excellent. My questions were answered, when I asked for an estimate of new tires, Corey went out to see what tires I have (I like them, but want all weathers this time) so he could make a good recommendation. He presented me with a written estimate and came over and sat with me and explained the prices, charges, and answered all of my questions. They are short staffed right now, so you need to definitely make an appointment. It was worth the wait. I'm also glad I gave this business a second chance. The difference between this appt and the last one was considerable.

A couple of months ago, I was in Geneseo from out of town for the weekend. During the trip, I noticed I had a nail in one of my tires. I went into Monro on a Sunday morning hoping for the best. Frank and his team took care of me. They got me in in right away and plugged the hole and I was able to make it home safely. Two months later, the repair has held. Thank you for the expert care and customer service.

They were very thorough and saved me a lot of time and money with their solutions to a difficult problem with my exhaust repair. They went above and beyond in their servicing of my vehicle. We were four hours from home, dropping our son off at college for the first time when we started having issues with our car. Turnes out we had bad calipers and wheel bearings among other stuff. The crew was amazing in a very stressful time for us. They even came and picked us up at our hotel when the car was done. I won't say that it wasn't very pricy but the service was amazing. I highly recommend monro auto service in Geneseo

I discovered I had a flat tire while out shopping with my kids. I called Walmart - totally booked. Called Mavis - 1-2 hour wait. Called Monro, spoke to Mason, told me to come on it and they would take a look at it. So glad I did. Mason helped me at the counter and throughout the process, he was super friendly and kept me updated on the progress on the tire. He explained what had to be done, gave me options, didn t pressure me when I chose the cheaper option. Another thing I really appreciated it is that they talked to me like a human being when most shops talk to me in a condescending way, because I m a female, even though I have a pretty good understanding of vehicles. The manager, I didn t catch his name, billed me out and he was also very friendly. Even though I live 20 minutes from this location and have multiple auto shops in my town, I will definitely make the drive for more service from this Monro. Thank you again!

This was my first time having an oil change at Monroe. I made my appointment online. Soon after, I received a phone call stating the time I had selected would not work for that site, but they were able to offer me another time, that really worked better for me and was sooner! Once there my car was done much quicker than I even expected. Thank you! T.P.

My truck was in need of an inspection and oil change and I had limited days and time to schedule it done. I called Monro Auto in Geneseo and Todd was able to get me in the same day. Todd and his team at Monro were super nice and efficient. They did a great job and had me on my way in no time. I will definitely use their services again and I highly recommend them.

If I could give negative stars I would. Went in for a simple oil change and now I need a new engine because all the oil leaked out due to them not doing it right. It s going to cost me thousands when all they had to do was just change my oil like I paid them to do

You know, I've watched these guys rake people over the coals for years. They'll tell you you've got problems with your car you just don't have or need fixing. It's standard practice for them at this point. But last time I was in they attempted to take me for $2.7k and charged me for brake pads only to put back on the pads I'd JUST installed the day prior. On top of that, 4 years ago I was in and their SOP was to offer deals for 5-star Google reviews. So the majority of these reviews are fake. I will NEVER give them my business ever again. To call them shady is an understatement.

While they have very kind guys that work there.... I have had far too many issues when taking my car to ANY Monroe shop for that matter. My biggest issue is when you take your car in and ask for ALL fluid levels to be checked. They tell you they were done.... Take it to a manufacturing service shop a month later.... Only to find out MY TRANSMISSION WAS SUPER LOW ON FLUID AND I DO NOT HAVE A LEAK! Next time when someone asks to check ALL fluid levels... they do mean ALL of them! And if you for some reason you cant...... Just be honest with the customer and tell them... I am sure they would gladly take it and get done elsewhere rather than their transmission dying on them! Or almost dying on them like mine.
