They helped me with a coolant hose and even went out of their way to send somebody to go pick up the part I needed from a dealership close by. great customer service above and beyond. Make sure you ask for Rhoan he knows his stuff and will work with you

No complaints here. I have been going to Pep Boys for over 10 years. It never matters which service center I find myself in, the work is constantly done well, completed in a timely manner, and reasonably priced. Customer service is excellent and service center managers honest. As a woman, it's nice to know that my car is being serviced by technicians that I can trust.

Nice, honest, and helpful staff. My first time going to the Franklin Square location. I drove up with a flat tire and didn t have an appointment. They took my truck in pretty quick to check why. They found a nail in the tire and got me new tires from another store. I was on my way in less than 2 hours. Will go back for future vehicle work.

Great location! Andrew handled everything with professionalism and clarity. The only thing I would suggest is asking customers for wheel locks rather than touching everything in the car and causing a mess.

The only issue I have is that the tire air cap disappeared after the tire replacement.Otherwise it was great customer service all around. The CS agent was busy training a new agent but was very attentive, and diagnosed the issue.The service technician was great as well and explained that the tpms part crystalized and ordered a replacement and it was fixed the same day.I'd recommend this Pep Boys for all available vehicle needs!And separate from Pep Boys, this goes to all auto shop, stop stealing air caps!

I Service personal vehicles and work vehicles at Pep Boys. Andrew is the best. He is a gentleman and always does his best to fix the problem and get us back on the road.

The worst Pep Boys customer service experience. Deplorable customer service. Spoke with Andrew at the front desk. He was the rudest person. I had spoken to someone prior to coming, and arranged to get tires installed at a discounted rate. Andrew did not want to fulfill that arrangement and said, "I can only do it if you pay, otherwise it can't be done." Andrew proceeded to ignore me when I asked to speak with the manager, and lied stating that the manager left the premises. However, I saw the manager, Raj, who said that they can do what was originally promised with installing the tires. It's a shame that a place with nice management has such rude, unfriendly, discourteous people working here. After waiting there for over 3 and a half hours (had made an appointment) my tires were installed. they don't fall off the car, and were properly installed.Update: The following night one of the tires went flat.

The manager Keino Bryan was terrific. Ordered my 4 tires promptly and followed up with a call when they were in. Installed and very satisfied will be using this Pep Boys again, and recommended.Mark Demay

I still have the same problem and new issues with my brakes occurred after work was done. I still have have a car I can not use because the brakes do not work properly after being charged $ 1800 dollars for a job .

After being taken advantage of by Mercedes , NYC, it reinforced that the only place to take our car is the local Pep Boys. They give honest estimates and do a great job for us.

My tire suffered a terminal puncture wound and several other shops in the neighborhood said it would be days before they would have replacement tires in stock (for my very common car with standard tires). Keino at Pep Boys got me the tires, and had me in and out the door in unbelievable time! He was kind, helpful, and kept me informed throughout the process. It was my first time at a Pep Boys...ever...and Keino made me a customer for life!

We made an appointment online but the store was closing when we arrived. It was a computer glitch. However Andrew was nice enough to take our car in to replace a tire, and have it ready for us the next day early morning. Andrew was very professional and courteous.

I have no complaints, Ray was very thorough and he went that extra step that many won't. I had a warranty on my tires and he helped me it took awhile butbut it was well worth the wait. Thumbs up for Ray and the guys at pep boys

Very dissatisfied with the workers here. I took my Infiniti here to get a flat fixed on the front passenger side and to get my rear tires replaced. I get my car a couple hours later and they said I need an alignment and new front tires cause the leak was coming from the uneven wear on my tire supposedly. So I order new tires online and bring them to the shop to install them and get the alignment done. After a couple hours they said the car is done and the leak was gone. I have the car picked up by my sister and she told me as she drove 2 blocks away the tire pressure turned on. And after a couple of hours of it sitting in my drive way the tire was completely flat. So I take it back the next day and I told them you guys didn t fix the leak and they said they ll took at look at it. After 5-6 hours they called me back and lied saying it was a valve stem leak this time and they fixed it. So I go pick it up and the car was still leaking and this point I was done with pep boys and went to a local mechanic nearby who are really great and within a matter of 5 mins of my car in the shop they told me it was a cracked rim and would have it fixed in a couple days. I was without a car for 2 weeks cause of pep boys who couldn t see a crack in my rim very disappointed.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I needed a NYP inspection done on my Car. The staff noticed when I pulled in the lot that my car was making noise. i was told my exhaust system need be check. I will not pass the inspection. i was referred to go to American Muffler a short distance away. The service was fast to get problem corrected. I returned to Pep Boys. There were now others in front of me for service. Still the wait was less than 1 hour long. I was very pleased because of the excellent service I received.

The mechanics are extremely friendly and helpful and are always there when I am in need. Ray goes above and beyond to satisfy the customers request. On a scale of 1 to 10 I rate Pep Boys Avenue new Hyde Park 10 1/2.
