Great experience! Had a broken exhaust flex pipe; they got me in the next day, welded in a replacement, and out the door before 10 am. Might be the easiest trip to the repair shop that I've ever experienced. (The price was very reasonable, too)

I have been going there since about 14 years. . they do very good work, done right the first time. very competitive pricing. Recent timing chain replacement done. one place quoted for 2400.00, TMS did it for 1400.00. this price differential is not unusual with TMS. Great crew, very professional and highly skilled

I can't say enough about this shop or the people that work there. Had a unique electrical problem which these guys figured out. Price was more then fair for a shop and service was the best experience I've had in years!

They really went out of their way to help us get our car ready quickly for an emergency trip. Special thanks to Pedro, who stayed with the job through his lunch break because my sick daughter had to travel to see a doctor.I highly recommend this garage for friendly service and fair pricing.

Very professional shop and fair prices , I dropped my car off around 9am and the car was finished by 12:30 , got an x pipe installed on my Camaro . I was quoted $770 somewhere else and the muffler shop charged $375 . The Welds and install is very neat and looks perfect. My Camaro sounds amazing now ! Thank you guys , i recommend this place to every for exhaust work!Service: Exhaust

Wasn't sure if I wanted to do the work in vehicle. wanted an estimate.gave two different ones on phone. Gave me a cheaper one so I could keep driving it. But when I wanted to see cheaper estimate didn't give me one and said have a nice day? What if I wanted to do cheaper one. ??.didn't have any info...

I recently purchased a car and realized that i need muffler work done, i found them online and read the previous reviews. I decided to give them a try not only the prices a fair compared to what other places are charging but work is exceptional as well they have a customer for life with me. Ps just plan to leave your car for a day or two but totally worth it. (Attached a picture of what they too out and replaced.)

Excellent service with a quick turnaround. I have had two trucks in for exhaust manifolds and both times they did fantastic work. Each time they were done in a day. Highly recommend these guys, I will definitely continue to bring my business to them.

Great place. They've tightened me up in an emergency, and knowing it was an emergency, treated me more than fairly getting me in fast, out quickly, and for a good price, when another shop would have gouged me under the circumstances. Will be going back for sure.

I have been going to the dealership for all my service and inspections for 20 years. The only reason I decided to look for another place was when the estimate for my exhaust system was exorbitant. After researching online I decided to go with the Muffler Shop. Not only did they do excellent work but they replaced my exhaust system for a reasonable price. I will be a regular customer from now on. I just had an inspection and I was very pleased. I only wish I had found them sooner. I cannot say enough good things about this shop! I had previously gotten a quote of $950 to replace my muffler/exhaust with dealer parts. This place came recommended to me by a friend who is a longtime mechanic. I dropped my car off Sunday night for an estimate. Monday morning by 11 am I received a call with a quote of $400 and that it could be ready by the end of the day. By 2:30 I got another call that my car was done. Less than half the price, done in a day and a whisper quiet car. I'm extremely satisfied!

The Muffler Shop did great work on my 2010 Audi A6 that many shops won't touch because of its tough-to-work-on nature. I originally brought my car to another shop for an exhaust leak in the flex pipe, where they quoted me $4,000 to fix it, and claimed they would have to replace the entire catalytic converter as well, and were unable to replace just the flex pipe. Scheduled an appointment with the Muffler Shop for a free estimate, and they were able to get it done without replacing the cats, and for a quarter of the price. They also found a few other small leaks and were also able to repair those. For $1,000 they were able to fix everything, and had it done for me the next day. If I ever need more work done in the future, I will be coming back. The people here are very polite, charged very little for labor compared to other shops around, and were able to do repairs the other shop claimed to be "impossible".Service: Exhaust

Drove up from Ithaca, NY just to have new muffler / exhaust from The Muffler Shop. They are one of a few places that will take the time to work on custom mufflers. We have a conversion van (wheelchair accessible) and most shops don t want to even look at it let alone figure out how to replace with all the custom work needed. They did a great job, explained everything and came right on budget. No surprises and very professional. Will use them for everything going forward for sure.Service: Auto exhaust system replacement

Recently my 2012 Equinox kept shooting out code P0420! The dreaded catalytic converter has died. Well took it to The Muffler Shop to get a quote and Ryan eased my concerns. It's an expensive repair. The expert install took a few hours but the price and repair was fair and reasonable! These guys do exactly what they tell you! If you need peace of mind ,great service and job done right no better repair shop in town!!Thanks againMr Bowens

Mark & his family have taken pride in delivering outstanding service to people in this neck of the woods for years. They do what is necessary to get you back on the road without breaking the bank. They have proved to me they are experts with a torch & can remove & replace the part of a muffler system that ACTUALLY NEEDS REPLACING rather than replacing the whole system altogether. I ve never been disappointed. Great craftsmanship- fair & reasonable pricing. A great shop altogether!

I was charged $150 for a minor issue that no one bothered to tell me was a temporary fix. Less than a year later I am paying $230 to properly fix the same issue again. Be careful with this company. I've used the Muffler Shop II for several repairs on multiple vehicles. They do good work at very fair prices.I do suggest that you have a flexible schedule as to the completion of the required work. They have often gone considerably over the estimated time of completion. However, now that I know and am expecting this, I don't mind. I'm getting excellent service at bargain prices.A case in point - I took in my aging Chrysler 300M because of a leak in a metal cooling line connected to the block. Major shops wanted about $700 for the repair, as there was a fairly expensive part involved that needed to be replaced. The Muffler Shop did the repair for less than $200 and fabricated the replacement part. That was two years ago and it has given me no further problems.They are quite busy, the lot is always full. That probably has something to do with their low prices and good services.

I have always been skeptical of mechanic shops, especially thier prices and diagnostics. To my delight I was able to get into thier shop as swiftly as I could get there. I called at 8:30 in the morning and I was on the shops lift at 8:47 in the morning, being it took me 15 minutes to get there. The guys there were straight to the point, gave me a great price, and had me out of there 40 minutes later. I had a different shop look at the problem first and their fix suggested 1300 worth of work, the muffler shop in Fairport basically laughed and told me they will fix it for 200 plus tax. Thank goodness we still have some HONEST AND COMPETENT shops still out here. They did great work, fixed exactly what was wrong, and now my car sounds as quiet as it did the day I bought it. Multiple experiences with this shop. Excellent repairs, great prices, and go way above and beyond. The last time was at 3:30p on a Saturday. Figured I'd just be popping in, getting a quote and an appointment. They got it right in, replaced the front resonator for $175 parts and labor (on a Volvo), and I was back on my way a little while later. That's way above and beyond service at a great price. They're constantly busy - always the sign of a good shop. They do more than exhaust system work - pretty much you name it, they can do it, they'll do it right the first time, and they'll charge a reasonable amount.
