I received an oil change a week ago and attempted to get an Inspection but was told that I needed new tires. I was reassured that I needed nothing else. Got tires, went back today and had a terrible experience. All of the staff were pleasant, with the exception of one. I wish that I had his name, to mention in my review. He was round, chubby and rude (in case you need a description). I ve had no issues with this location, until today. First off, I was the only car that pulled up and as the rude guy walked towards my car, he stopped to tend to the second car that pulled up. I noticed it but brushed it off. Went inside, he spoke to me about several things that were suggested for my car. I declined everything but the wiper blades. I asked him what the prices were for the blades. He replied $40 . I asked for prices for all types of wipers and he stated that s all that we have. While waiting in the lobby, several wiper prices appeared on the screen. I asked the same rude guy about the prices that showed on the screen and again he stated, that s all that we have. I paid and left. The gentlemen who were outside, pleasantly waved their goodbyes. I pulled one aside and asked him for the supervisor since the interaction that I had with the rude guy, didn t sit right with me. I spoke with the supervisor, who took his time to search for other wipers and told me what they had in stock. The supervisor was able to find a less expensive option, refunded me for the initial charge and recharged my account. This could have been avoided if that rude employee would have taken a few minutes to check and see what they had and informed me of my options. He s lazy, rude and needs to learn how to display good customer service. I ve been coming to this location for years and am extremely disappointed in his service. He needs to be retrained and he needs to check himself to figure out how he could have done a better job, so that he ll never leave a customer with a distasteful experience. I may or may not continue to visit this location but if I do, I will not let that guy touch my car.

Service was prompt and pleasant. Got recommendations about what is needed to be done due to my mileage. The guys there are knowledge. Got my inspection and oil change done yesterday. Was very satisfied. Plus the free car wash when you get an oil change..

I have always used the Jiffy Lube in Delmar, however, todays experience could only be describe as Poor! I realize it was a Friday afternoon, but they never reset my oil meter, never gave me a sticker and told me my free car wash would be sent by text, which I still haven't received. The person who brought in my car left dirty shoe points on my mat! The only redeeming thing was they got me in and out quickly.

Overall my visit was a good experience, everyone was friendly and completed in a reasonable amount of time. The main issue I have is that I was offered service that was not needed. The technician suggested I get my brake fluid replace, said it "came back dirty" which I declined, I just completely flushed and replaced the brake fluid a few months ago when I had to replace a rear caliper. Not sure how they came to that conclusion but it was an unnecessary suggested service.

The most expensive oil change I've gotten yet! First time Jiffy Lube customer and probably last. I never received any receipt due to "technical difficulties" so I can't even determine the actual reason.

My service was fast and well done. Casey was trustworthy, knowledgeable, and answered every single one of my questions! I will definitely be return for services- I trust that their input will help me take good care of my car, Birdy! :-)

I asked if I could get an estimate of the work I was told $600 when they got my car in the garage & started working on it I was told $1200. I wish they would have been upfront from the beginning and I feel like they over charge for everything. Car is fixed but honest from the jump could help cause what if I didn t have the funds

Went in for an NYS inspection. As always I was expecting the "upsell" but was not presured into anything . This would have been a 5 star review but I did get skipped in the batting order. It may have been that the inspection guy was busy with another vehicle but a heads up from the staff would have been nice.

The staff at this location are kind, understanding, and attentive. My experience at this Jiffy Lube was outstanding. I just relocated to this area and in great need of help with my vehicle, they were welcoming and solution driven. Thank you Jiffy Lube!

I came in I on a busy saterday for an oil change and state inspection. I was offerred additional services, a brake flush and antifreeze change, which were much needed, and I am thankful no shortcuts were taken on account of the high work volume the techs were experiencing. Great job peeps! Thank you all much!

Went in for an inspection, waited almost 45 minutes to have my car brought in the bay and immediately taken out to tell me my E brake didn't work and my car kept rolling.You would think 3 or more people would catch they didn't pull the brake handle up all the way to actually stop the car; but no- instead immediately told me I needed to pay and go to Mavis to fix it, and would cost almost 100$.Nothing but stupidity here, don't waste your time. They're just gonna try and find something wrong with your car for more $$$ because they're incompetent idiots.(Should mention I went to another inspection place same day and passed)

I'm going to say that it was a few ppl there b4 I got there but I did not have to wait long, meaning they got customers in and out, however, inwas upset about the fact that they didn't honor my coupon... they honored one but not the other and I'm thinking the one they denied me was the one that would have saved me the most money... but over all, the service was

Went in for an inspection and was charged an arm and a leg for wipers (4x the amount found online). Had to pay it as I am leaving the are this would not make it back by months end for inspection date. Seems to be common on every inspection that wipers need to be replaced although they were replaced just a month and a half ago

The people that were working on my car we're under the influence of some type of drug. They laughed at me the entire time and when I asked for clarifications on things they walked away from me. It was a very very awkward strange and uncomfortable experience. The people working there the guy that was on the register and another employee we're trying to get me to get services for my car that I did not need. I came in for an oil change and I got a new filter air filter and the bill came out to over $150. One of the employees was arguing with me not helping me understand his irrational thoughts. I have a traumatic brain injury thank God there was another customer there that was male who when they tried to charge me to rotate my tires the gentleman who was being very rude to me who works there said you told me to rotate your tires and I said I did not and he would not stop arguing with me so the customer said to the employee she told you not to. Lot of pressure and a very bad work environment.

Normally I wouldn t leave a review like this, but this really made me mad. I called this location at 5:30pm on a Monday and asked what time they stop taking cars for oil changes. The guy said you know we close at 6pm, right? Yes Einstein, that s why I m asking what time you STOP TAKING CARS FOR OIL CHANGES!I tell him I m 5 minutes away, and ask if he can get me in. He didn t say I can t promise you anything or I m not sure he said Yes, we can get you in. I rush to get there and show up EXACTLY 5 minutes later, and the same guy I talked to on the phone walks up and tells me now they can t get me in. Thanks for wasting my time. I assure you it won t happen again. Don t tell me you can get me in, and then tell me you can t 5 minutes later.

I asked to have an oil change and snow tires put on (all tires were on rims). When it was time to cash out, the oil change was completed, but the wheels were not changed out. I asked why not, because they didnt fit. I offered to come out to the garage area and show the techs that the snow tire rims and lug nuts did fit. I came out to the floor and showed the tech how to mount the snow tires. They were thankful. The tech said the charge for the snow tire mounting would be $30. When I got home I was charged $80 to put my snow tires on. Argh.... JCalzone

Thank you to the staff at the Delmar, NY Jiffy Lube. By 8am they had a parking lot FULL. They remained speedy, efficient, and friendly. I recived and oil change and an inspection under an hour.

$39 for a wiper blade? Only one choice? No one informed me the car was ready or took payment expeditiously. Might return for service if no other choice.

I took my car for a routine inspection, while there I told my radiator fluid was low and my break fluid needed to be replaced. Went ahead with the work spent over $300. A couple months later my checked engine light came on. Open my hood turned out there was no radiator fluid in my car went back to jiffy lub the guy filled it up. I told him I want to talk to the manage because I don't trust any of my work was done. The manage was toooo busy to talk to me. So I took it to cooperate, they open a case and because all jiffy lube is independently owned the only thing they can do is file complaints. Eventually spoke to the store MANAGER FLOYD, who basically said the work was done it just wasn't complete. I asked for my money back because at this point I feel scammed. He told me he will only give me my money back for the radiator flush. So now Iam paying more money to do the same work I paid for. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO DELMAR JIFFY LUBE. And if you do have them show you the work they did. Scammers!!!

Went for a state inspection and was told (in not the nicest way) that their computers are down. There were 3 cars parked blocking the exit from the waiting lane so I had to reverse until I could get out of a different exit. Not very efficient.

I asked for an inspection and they also told me I needed an oil change . They recommended synthetic oil but I asked for conventional oil. I waited a long time after my car was already pulled out and supposedly done before they checked me out . They charged me for synthetic oil anyway and didn t put sticker inside my car and didn t vacuum it .I didn t realize the cost till I got home. I called the manager and he was very receptive to speaking with me about my concerns and offered to give me some free car washes for the over charge and put the sticker in my car. I ve been to the Delmar location many times and never had a complaint until now.Service: Oil change

The last 2 out of 3 times I brought my vehicle in, within a week my check engine light came on. The 1st time I had an oil change plus an fuel system flush. I took it to the dealership and they found some connections undone.
