Monty, who works at the shop is by far the best technician I have ever dealt with in the last 25 years. He has fixed several of my cars including specialty jaguars when the Jaguar dealer could not fix them. He s also a master ford and Lincoln tech. I highly recommend this shop especially Monty as your tech. I really don t think there s anything he can t fix on a car. All around a great experience for the past 6 years with Gochees and Monty.

Had to change an appointment last minute, they were understanding and able to fit me in at a later time. Able to get the job done in a reasonable timeframe.

After a less reputable shop tried to sell me brakes that I did not need...I went here and they told me that my suspicions were correct. My brakes are fine.They only made $10 off my inspection, instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need...but they earned my trust!Thank you Eric!

Caring & PatientThe service was excellent. Eric listened carefully to our car problem, called us in a timely fashion, explained the situation clearly, and offered a solution. The car was fixed within a reasonable timeframe, and the prices make sense. I never feel taken advantage of because I am a female customer with little car knowledge. Eric always make me feel comfortable, and he always goes the extra mile to ensure we leave satisfied and safe.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Can t say much about their work, but I can say this if your tow company bringing them a vehicle, make sure you re ready to be dictated where the vehicles dropped and they don t care if it s easy for you or not I recommend not going to this garage with any vehicles!!! The service, writer was very rude. As soon as I pulled up he came running out, screaming at me. I had the vehicle and a safe location, out-of-the-way, and easy to be pushed into the garage, but he did not think so.

Was able to find our replacement tire the same day and replaced it. All others would have taken a week!Always pleasant and professional.

I was able to get an appointment within 48 hours. As always the service was very professional and on time. Since a bought a second-hand car through them in 2012, all service has been done at Gochee's. The car is in excellent condition, thanks to this Garage.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Above and beyondI know that Gochees is busy and for good reason. They said to bring our 2008 Honda Pilot over and said they'd try to take a look. Walked in with no appointment when I realized my NYS inspection was close to its renewal date. Car was in the shop within minutes, and I was on my way home in about 1/2 hour. Pleasant, friendly atmosphere. My previous experiences at Gochee's have been equally satisfactory.

So grateful to have such a quality and service oriented car repair service in our town. Always so accommodating and today when I went in for emergency tire service they took me even though I didn t have an appointment. Because they had to order four tires, the owner gave me a ride home and pick up later so I didn t have to sit for hours waiting.

I've been taking my car here for repairs and maintenance for over ten years now. Same car, still runs great. Friendly reliable service and fair prices. In business for three generations in a small town so they must be doing it right.

Sent my wife for a state inspection, her car is a year old and has less than 30k miles. They were going to fail the car for rusty rotors. I asked if it impedes the stopping and he said no. I have grown up in a mechanics shop and with a inspectors license, knowing this isn t a reason to fail a car. I took it to another shop, it passed inspection with no mention of the rotors, I also had a second mechanic review these and he also saw no issue. In the past few days, I have seen other posts on Nextdoor (local app), with other females being radically overcharged on parts and work. Be cautious

Gochee's Garage is my go-to garage for repairs and maintenance. The Service Manager is very friendly and knowledgeable. The garage is organized and the mechanical work is always top notch. I have trusted Gochee's Garage for many many years and they have not disappointed!

I have been going to Goachees as my main auto shop (e.g. oil change, inspection, repairs) for most of the last six years. The staff at Goachees are very friendly. Unlike other auto shops in the area (at least Advanced Auto Repair in Voorheesville) Goachees has tons of availability and I have generally been able to get a time slot with little notice.

Set up an appointment on the computer for what I thought was early Monday morning, not. I screwed up, in my early morning (pre-coffee) fog, I actually made the appointment for Saturday morning.Showed up Monday to learn that I made a wrong appointment. NO PROBLEM....they took me right in and I was out of there on about 20 minutes. I was down to the wire on my NYS inspectionwith only two days do go before the end of the month and Gochee's came through for me. Great job. Many thanks for the help of the great Gochee Team and for keeping me legal. Highly recommended.

I had my CRV towed here last week. They quoted me $3400 for a job that Lia Honda ended up doing for $720. When a dealership is way cheaper than you on service you know you have a problem. I m sure they figured, I got it towed to them so I have no choice but they were wrong. Definitely worth the second tow to Lia. It sickens me that people like this try to kick you when you re down.

Excellent experience for many years, beginning with original owner, now succeededby his son, Harry Gochee.I prefer family-owned businesses because they value their reputation in thecommunity and try very hard to treat their customers fairly - which Gochee'shas always done and continues to do.

Knowledgeable and honest but kinda pricey. Have had good experiences the few times I've gone there. I've just found auto places in the area which do the same level of work at cheaper rates. Would recommend in a pinch, though.

I've used Gochees for service and repair on our Subaru and Toyota for years. Honest, reasonable and very good at what they do. I wouldn't consider using any other shop.
