Took my 2016 GT here because I was initially running a palm beach Dyno tune, but noticed it was running very rich, and felt I could get more power out of it. I also was unable to pass inspection so I decided to bring it to Mustang Magic for a new Dyno tune. I could not be happier with it. I literally just drove the car home and it no longer smells of gas, the MPG is way up, and it rips harder than I could have imagined. I was helped by LJ and tuned by Jose, both very knowledgeable. Prices are not the cheapest, but remember, you get what you pay for!! Definitely recommend coming to these guys, and the office is very friendly.Service: Auto engine tuning

I drove from the Westchester area, because they are the only shop I could rely on to make my vision a reality. Joe and the team treated me like family and took great care of my car. Well was going to leave a 3 or maybe 4 star. But here s a 1 cause I was told it s impossible that my front and rear wheels were switched there at the shop. Dropped brothers car off to get rear gears done. Was quoted a price I was ok with and if it needed more for the rear still was ok with. But then they fixed other issues up front which I still would be ok with if I confirmed it and got quoted for it before hand. I can do the work myself, just wanted the rear done. Which I mentioned 3x But $300 to say hey it s your front hub. It s crazy to me. They knew my brother didn t know anything about cars. Just kinda upset since I m laying the money out for my brother and I didn t confirm the work. I did say all 3 phone calls just need rear done. I ll worry about what s needed. Was told battery is dead after bill. Which it s a year old never had an issue. But They changed it without confirmation Made them put it back cause I have 3 year warranty. So saved $200. Car Starts right up and sitting at 14.3v, and guarantee it will continue to start up. But again, I m down to support Shops, but this was a bad experience. I ve hear some horror story s and good story s, but wanted to try it out since i was busy and car needed it done. Must say they did good work. Car drives really good again. But the fact the wheels were swapped wrong, most likely on accident. Which they can role the cameras back and look to see it came there like that. Cause I m the only one who touches the car and fronts match and rears match. That s the reason for the review. Went from $700-1k price quote to 2790-3k cash/card price. Without battery came to $2550 cash. Yes pretty upset. Please do better next time. Because what if it went to 5k or 10k whatever the price, we need to be kept in the loop incase. Yes I have the funds. My brother didn t tho, same for anyone that might not have it either. Also always own up to any mistakes. Don t tell the customer their wrong without the proof. Cameras will prove it. Car came with rears matching and leaving rears not matching, it s obvious which are which. I noticed it right when It got home ready for a wash after pickup. Sorry for the 1 star, but that s how it went for me. If was told hey we ll hook you up, or hey sorry for the swap mistake. Come by for a free oil change or quick service, then this woulda been back up a few stars. But nope told it s impossible couldn t have happened here. CHECK Cameras Other then that seems like a solid shop. Hope this won t happen to anyone and it was just a fluke. Thank YouService: General repairs & maintenance

I've been coming here for about 15 years they are the best ! Knowledgeable staff,great prices ,they always work with you. When the dealerships have problem , they call Joe . Recommend it to anyone who wants their mods done the first time and right on the first time.

Mustang magic was great , took my 1989 mustang gt with 23k miles there . The car sat for a while so needed a good go through , they new exactly what to do and got my GT running like brand new !!! I m looking forward to starting my 67 fastback build. Total restomod. Engine, trans, suspension, brakes, electrical, All the guys at the shop are great. They have guided me through planning, parts purchase, a the vision for my dream build. Can t wait to see this unfold. Joe is very knowledgeable and helpful with all the details. When thinking of the essential, Mustang Magic is the right auto performance mechanics I think about when my mustang needs it...changing brake rotors, and the diff-c, are a must...while the influence of the automobile industry is about quality, Mustang Magic in Deer Park, Long Island, is the place to go and qualify your mustang for the upmost performance. WOW wow wow just drove my "07 Roush Stage 3. EVERY single suggestion they have made has made a serious improvement on handling, performance, (once on air conditioning-still laughing bout that)! There are shops, and there are enthusiasts- they are the real deal. Sorry but if you are a nit picky whimp.. wrong shop.. They dont like to fix things halfway because this place does it right -does it once and has the experience to SAVE money while improving performance. Why mess around with parts that do not improve your car? Till next time guys!

Took me right in. Told Joe I wanted to make Ford Nationals with my 04 mustang cobra with a KB. I thought I was leaving the car due to everything I changed... Nope, they drove it right on the dyno, got all the bugs squared away, and took their time with the revisions(thank you Jose!). We took the car home same day fully tuned! Couldn't be happier. These guys are great! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and very passionate about mustangs. Took my car to them for an issue I couldn t figure out, and within 5 minutes they had it diagnosed and fixed. Been out of the race scene for quite some time until now. After breaking down at the track I had my 2014 Mustang GT diagnosed at Mustang Magic. Went there for the first time to have my gears upgraded to 3.73s And let me tell you I was very impressed with the work performed. I actually spent all day there and the guys who work there couldn't of been nicer. The acceleration difference in my 97 Mustang is awesome my car is so much quicker. Thanks Mustang Magic. Will definitely bring my car there for now on. Highly Recommended.

I brought my car in because it wouldn't pass inspection. It needed a new tune. The guys who work for mustang magic, from the guys on the counter to the mechanics in the shop, including the owner of the shop (Joe), are professional and very knowledgeable. Their tuner is also excellent. They explained to me everything they did to the car. They answered all of my questions. They made me feel very comfortable and I trust them. My car wasn't running right, and they corrected the problem. My car runs better than before. There prices are very fair. They are worth every penny! I will be coming back for more upgrades. Had new springs installed and a new steering wheel. They also took care of the alignment (which is needed when you change springs). Their prices were very reasonable. The staff was nice and friendly. There was also a good camaraderie among the customers who were obviously Mustang enthusiasts. Best place for your mustang needs! Joe is an easy guy to deal with and he knows his stuff. They did a bunch of work to my 03 Cobra and it all came out awesome, way more power too! Heidi is great on the phones and always got back to my messages. I am really picky with my cars and have left complete trust in these guys and they did not let me down! I like the fact that there is no pressure in dealing with Joe as well. I have sent numerous friends here based on my experience and they have all felt the same way! Keep up the great work!

Mustang Magic is great. I am very fortunate as a mustang enthusiast who has had 5 mustangs to have this shop local to me. Along with the convenience, I always get A+ service. I only trust them to work on my low mileage show car mustang cobra. They are the best. They truly treat your car as if it were their own. I m a customer for over 15 years and will continue to bring my current and future mustangs to the best. I can't say enough about the guys at Mustang Magic. They did a great job on my car and were very very fair with me with pricing. Another shop had done some horrible work to my car and caused a lot of damage. Joe was very sympathetic and understanding. He worked with me on the price and i couldn't be happier. The car is running amazing now. I will never go to another performance shop again, it's Mustang Magic all the way... A big thank you to Joe and the team!!!!

I had previously had work done to my 5.0 swapped wagon and knew it wasn't done properly and it wasn't running right. We don't have any performance shops near me but luckily I came in contact with Joe at Mustang Magic. I simply made an appointment to bring in my car. Joe and his team were able to diagnose and mend the issues I had right away. I can say Joe was very willing to work with me given my circumstances and I thank him for that. It was a bit of a road trip to get out there but very much worth it knowing my car is in good hands. I've got some more performance parts coming soon and I'll be back for a re-tune!

My wife bought me ford racing camshafts for my 2007 mustang gt and had mustang magic install them for my birthday. I was very surprised to show up there to drop my car off to balloons, a t shirt, and other things for my bday from them. Very nice people and really went out of their way to make my birthday feel special. Work was outstanding, fast turn around, great price and just an awesome experience. Joe gave me a tour of the place since it was my first time there and went over my car and the best way to do things and what parts to do for what I was looking for. Called while work was being done to go over a couple of things about my car. Great shop, great people and will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended.

Did AWESOME work on my 2018 Mustang GT. Cat-Back install went smooth, price was reasonable, and the staff was great. Oh, and the car sounds amazing!One thing I didn t know... I usually buy my parts from American Muscle. I was told by the staff that they can order any parts I want directly from AM which is way more convenient then me shipping parts to my house and then taking them there for install.Figured anyone else like me should know THIS is the place to go!Thanks Mustang Magic team!

This place is great. I brought my f150 here just for a tune after an engine swap and twin turbo setup. After calling countless other shops, this was the only one willing to do the tune for me. They were very thorough and made sure I had all the kinks worked out of my truck before I came in for the actual tune so no time was wasted on the dyno. The owner Joe and the tuner there are both very knowledgeable and are just good people which is a rare combination in this industry. Really the whole staff is great and very friendly. This was the final step in a two year long project I was working on and I was very happy with the results. Thank you guys.

I bought my mustang back in may of 2020, and was told this is the best shop to bring it to! I've had a fair amount of work done to my car since I got it, and everytime the work that came back was awesome. I Had a problem arise right after getting one of my repairs done, and Mustang Magic took the car back in right away and fixed it for me without charging me again for a similar repair. Brought my 2003 Mustang GT to have the rear end redone with new gears. Joe and his crew did everything in a timely manner and it was done professionally. I ran into a small problem after the work was completed, but I brought the car back in and they fixed it free of charge! Great customer service

I have a 04 Marauder. A shop that I used butchered a rear differential rebuild. A friend recommended. Mustang Magic to fix it. Joe, Steve and the crew are great. Steve meticulously rebuilt the entire diff with quality parts. Great price and friendly atmosphere. Super Happy!!

Joe and staff will see to it that you are 100% satisfied. I had a Borla S-type cat back installed on my 2016 GT convertible with the pesky extra bracing. They were able to retain the bracing and I couldn't be happier especially being car is still under warranty. Everyone there is nice and will go out of their way for you. Will definitely be back! 10 out of 10. Cant wait to have suspension upgrades done on my 02 GT once I have the wife's approval!!!Service: Exhaust

(From 2021): Two years and a few thousand miles later, I returned from out-of-state to get new tires and brakes installed. The workshop felt like home. Parts been hard to acquire but AJ worked with me fervently to make sure everything was in order. At the shop, it was discovered that the brakes I had ordered online didn't have hooks on them. LJ quickly improvised and fixed the problem, explaining everything along the way. The work took much less time than I had originally envisioned. I am grateful to LJ, Ron, Alejandro, and Dave for all their work on the car. I will reiterate what I said two years ago: these guys are Mustang experts, and this is not a job but rather a calling for them. My car got more personalized attention and care than any other place I've ever had to go to. The staff are all very friendly, and their honesty and professionalism is unrivaled. I simply wouldn't think of taking my car anywhere else. If you have a car you care about, just take it to Mustang Magic. If you have a Mustang, you really really should NOT be going elsewhere.(From 2019): I needed a replacement of rear and front brake pads and the rear rotors. Joe and his staff were very friendly, and took care of it. They welcomed me on a busy day for them and explained everything. Joe was very patient and considerate, and understood my initial hesitation in getting something major done on my car and was willing to accommodate me in a later visit (which I am glad I didn't wait for). Their workshop feels like home, and you can tell that the staff is extremely professional and consists of Mustang experts. The personal attention given is impeccable, as is the transparency. Their charges are very reasonable. As someone who deeply values this, I can confidently assert that their staff really loves working on Mustangs and this is more of a calling for these guys than a job. So, I definitely wouldn't think of going elsewhere for Mustang-related issues. I intend to be a regular customer going forward.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I was having an issue with my 2018 Mustang GT, I called up the shop and they told me to stop in on the weekend.As soon as I got there till when I left I was greeted with nothing but respect and felt like Ive know the staff my whole life. They told me what was wrong and how to fix it and even ordered me the parts I needed and fixed my mustang the following weekend! Its been running great ever since and I cant thank everyone there enough. All I know is anything in the future that has to do with my car I will be taking it there. I recommend anyone with a mustang to do the same!
