Poor experience overall. Had a death in the family the day of my booking. They actually rescheduled with no problem the first time.Second booking day was due to thunderstorm all day. When asked to reschedule I was told it was not a problem on the phone.Only to be sent a condescending email that my reservation was cancelled later in the day.Very disappointing and unprofessional!

when I called on the phone before going there, I was told no boat is available for another hour, but when I drove there (for the restaurant) and asked them, they saw me and told me a boat is IMMEDIATELY available. They did not let me look at the boat, and asked me to pay right away. It was strange because it contradicted what they told me on the phone, but I was happy a boat was available right away, so I paid. However, after I paid, they showed me the boat, it was extremely dirty and looked out of service, then I realized they gave me a boat they would not have given other guests, because that boat was not meant to be rented. That's why they told me on the phone that another boat would not be available for another hour. When we spoke on the phone, they could not see my face, when I arrived there, they could see I'm Asian, so they decided to play dirty on me. They are racist.

My Husband and I were looking to dock our boat for the season. We came across Sam Smiths and decided to check it out. I will be honest we were a little nervous and hesitant about having others put our just over a year old Lund in and out of the water. After some consideration we decided to give it a try. I have to say everyone from the owners to the employees were nothing short of courteous, kind and caring. They greeted us, talked with us, made us feel comfortable. Our boat was cared for as if it was their own, no damage, no issues at all. Highly recommend! The ease of making a phone call and having your boat in the water upon arrival is awesome !

Full service boatyard - they do it all, store boats, launch boats for you, rent boats, repair boats and charge electric boats. Great staff, great service.

Rented a pontoon boat for the day here. Easy online reservation. Great service at the dock. The young adults working there were excellent. Perfect day. Great service.

The Blue Mingo is a Cooperstown treasure!! The lake view is breathtaking , the food is absolutely amazing, making this an unbeatable combination!! Don t miss this special experience!

I have a 30 foot sail boat. Needed a black water pump out, the dock attendant looked at me like I was crazy and and told me he didn't know what that meant. I know otsego isn't huge, bit there's no way I'm the only boat with an onboard toilet. This place is not a marina, but just a gas station

Private boat launch no outside boats. Website should indicate that clearly.
