My husband and I took a weekend trip to Cooperstown back in October, and the stay was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were warm and accommodating. We stayed in a room upstairs in toward the back of the house, simple and clean, but bathroom was nicely updated and the shower was great. The dining recommendations and places of interest information that they shared with us ahead of our stay was so incredibly helpful. The location was perfect, easy to walk to the main street, even on a cool rainy day.Thank you for a great stay, highly recommend!

This was not our first visit to the Landmark Inn but it was our first stay since John and Keith became the new owners. The Landmark has always been our go to place when visiting Cooperstown. We always felt that it was the nicest of the many accommodations in the area. We still feel that way, but the new owners have taken it to another level entirely. The rooms are quite spectacular end it appears that everything has been recently renovated. We stayed in the Summers Suite and our adult children stayed in Casey's room. Our suite was beautiful, well appointed, completely renovated, and included a gas fireplace and sauna. It could easily be the nicest accommodation in Cooperstown. Casey's room was also recently renovated, well appointed and gorgeous. While the facilities are certainly impressive, the staff was equally so. Everyone we came into contact could not have been more helpful or friendly. We had a minor problem with our television in our suite late one evening and one of the owners, Keith came by to fix it. We can not say enough good things about the Landmark Inn, other than if you have the opportunity, you should make it a point to stay there.

I had a magical time at the Landmark Inn! I arrived after dark on a drizzly night and the lights from the inn immediately felt warm and cozy. I stayed in the Chance Suite which has a spectacular en suite bathroom. I enjoyed the jets in the bathtub, and the provided bubble bath was a lovely touch. I especially enjoyed that the bath products were lightly scented with great lotion! The bed was awesome, and the sheets were the softest I've ever slept in. I also loved that the inn was only a 10-minute walk from downtown Cooperstown so I could check out the shops and the Baseball Hall of Fame. The breakfast was super tasty - such pillowy pancakes! The staff were amazing, and I felt like so well taken care of. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Loved our stay at the Landmark! We stayed with our dog and 14 month old in the one dog friendly room (Henry s Hideaway). The room was so cute and the bed and sheets were the best hotel experience I ve had! The breakfast in the morning is exceptional and made even better by the amazing staff. Terry was our server both mornings and she was amazing. So friendly and accommodating, with recommendations of things to do in town. Fantastic location, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and hall of fame downtown. We will definitely be back! - The Manchesters

Every moment of our stay was memorable. We pulled in and didn't even have to open the door; Nick was opening it to greet us. He is the perfect person to be working the front desk in an inn...he was helpful, pleasant, full of good information, and I had the best time just sitting and chatting with him. I'd notified the staff that I was there to celebrate my fianc's 50th birthday, and they had special homemade chocolate truffles waiting for him in the room. Our suite, the Chance, was directly off the parking lot and that was very convenient. The room was spotless and the bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. As I told Nick, I was ready to move in to the amazing shower, and my 6'7" fianc was quite happy about the fact that he could actually stretch out in the jacuzzi tub.I didn't reserve the 6" inches of snow we received this weekend, but it made the town - and the inn - so beautiful. Quite a few restaurants closed early due to the weather (or were already closed for the season), but Nick and John recommended a great Italian restaurant that was perfect for a birthday dinner. In fact, everything they recommended to us was perfect. On the first morning we were served challah bread French toast with fresh cooked apples & raisins on top with delicious bacon and the best hot chocolate I've had in ages. Apparently Vita, the chef in residence, wasn't able to get in due to weather but that didn't stop the rest of the staff from providing us with an excellent way to start our day. On the second morning we had an egg and cheese herb souffle with brown sugar sausage and homemade applesauce. We definitely hated to leave and will be back again as soon as we are able.

LOVED our stay here! The inn beautifully compliments the quaint, small-town charm of Cooperstown. While the house appears older, it has been beautifully preserved/renovated, is well-kept, and feels extremely luxurious. Everything is (and feels) very clean, the rooms are a great size and very homey.Breakfast each morning was AMAZING, always fresh and very filling. All of the staff are so friendly and accommodating with great recommendations of things to do in the area or places to eat. Location wise, you ll be in close proximity (short walk) from Main Street and the Baseball Hall of Fame. We can t wait to come back and highly recommend staying here for a truly relaxing trip to Cooperstown .

I cannot say enough great things about our recent stay at the Landmark Inn. The staff was incredibly friendly and catered to our needs. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff was outstanding. The room was cozy, chic, and clean, with every detail thought of. The location is wonderful, with only a short walk to main street and the Baseball Hall of Fame. I highly recommend and will 100% be returning!

If you are reading this review, my advice is BOOK NOW, you will not be disappointed! My husband and I visited in August and fell in love with the Landmark Inn. We stayed in Caseys room during our August visit, and what a BEAUTIFUL room! So cozy and romantic (even with the picture of Casey Stengel on the wall ). The bed was extremely comfortable, and the sheets and pillows are to die for! Seriously, the sheets are out of this world. This Inn has a great vibe. Everyone who works there is kind and attentive. Nick at the front desk is a delight to chat with, Vita the chef is truly a master of her craft, and the cookies OH MY! There are fresh baked cookies of the season (during summer chocolate chip) available all day so yummy! When we returned home after our August visit, we immediately checked our calendars and booked another visit in October. We couldn t get Caseys room for this visit, but instead booked the Twain Room which was also beautiful and comfortable with a king-sized bed. Nick was again his charming self, Vita s breakfasts were magnificent, and the cookies this time were ginger spice! And again, sooooo good! The attention to detail and the passion of the owners are apparent in every space of this Inn. We will definitely be returning.

The Landmark Pitches A Perfect Game! We recently stayed at this lovely, historic Inn located within a fairly short walk to downtown Cooperstown, the Baseball Hall of Fame and various other businesses and eating establishments in downtown Cooperstown. The Inn has all of the modern amenities yet retains the charm of its heritage. From the luxurious, comfortable rooms to the gourmet breakfast in the dining room and the assistance and recommendations of the staff, Nick and Terry, you will be beyond pleased that you chose to stay here. I can't recommend it enough. I only wished we lived closer so we could return on a routine basis. Meanwhile, I will cherish the memories we made in this beautiful area of New York. Thank you to all of the Top Notch staff at the Landmark Inn. You made our belated anniversary trip one for the record books. Ramona M.

We had a wonderful stay at Landmark Inn! Nick, the Innkeeper, was very friendly, hospitable, answered questions and gave referrals. He was very helpful, and since it was a short anniversary trip from Virginia, his help was very appreciated! The whole staff went over and above to make sure our stay was comfortable and accommodating. The house is beautiful inside and out, and perfect for walking to town, the National Baseball Hall of Fame or around the neighborhood.

LOVED our stay! We chose this because of its close proximity to the baseball Hall of Fame Museum, and the stellar reviews. It did not disappoint. Everything was luxurious. It is an old house but it s been wonderfully renovated. It looks very fresh and clean. Bed linens and comfy robe were very soft. Bed was SO comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Delicious breakfast was served on linen table cloths, and we were treated royally. Location is within five minutes of the hall of fame, and some very nice restaurants, which staff told us about. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you re in the Cooperstown area for any reason.

We loved the Landmark Inn! Everything is clean and decorated so nicely. Our room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff is amazing, and the breakfasts every morning were delicious! The Inn is just a 5 minute walk from the downtown area with some restaurants/bars, baseball stores, and the baseball hall of fame. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Cooperstown or just want a little getaway.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming Landmark Inn in the heart of Cooperstown, NY, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for a treat.Let me start by highlighting the inn's commitment to being pet-friendly. As a dog owner, finding accommodations that welcome furry friends can be a challenge, but this inn has a room dedicated to our four-legged companions. It was such a relief to have a comfortable and stylish space where my beloved pooch could relax and feel right at home. The room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and had direct access to a beautiful outdoor area, perfect for morning walks or playtime. One of the things that truly impressed me about Landmark Inn was their eye for design details. Every corner of the property was thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the charming artwork on the walls to the carefully chosen furniture, it was evident that the owners had put a lot of love and care into creating a unique and memorable experience for their guests. The attention to detail added a touch of elegance to the overall ambiance, making my stay even more delightful. The staff at Landmark Inn deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, providing me with information about local attractions and recommendations for dining options. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed during my stay. Their friendly and attentive nature made me feel like a valued guest, and their dedication to ensuring a memorable experience truly stood out.Speaking of experience, my stay at this inn was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of the cozy room, the picturesque surroundings, and the overall tranquility made for a truly unforgettable getaway.I can't recommend Landmark Inn enough.

A really special place to stay. We spent three nights at the Landmark while in Cooperstown for a wedding, and the inn offered the most magical combination of historic/vintage vibes and modern accommodations (including a great mattress and an incredible shower). The daily breakfasts were gourmet quality, AND the staff was able to seamlessly accommodate my spouse s allergy to gluten. It s clear that love and attention have been given to every detail here, from the decor to the facilities to the service. Highly recommend the Landmark.

I cannot recommend the Landmark enough! The breakfast food was delicious! The staff were so incredibly warm and welcoming. My husband and I really enjoyed talking to all of them. We loved the chance suite that we stayed in - the bubble bath smelled amazing and gave just the right about of bubbles. We will definitely be returning and staying at the Landmark again!

The Landmark Inn was a great place to stay - and a great location! I wanted to plan a father/daughter trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame, and the staff was very helpful when planning the trip, including booking a private tour of the museum! Everyone was pleasant and attentive - and we had a wonderful time. And, the breakfast was delicious (the buttermilk pancakes with fresh berries was our favorite)!Nearby activities: Baseball Hall of Fame

Our stay at the Landmark Inn exceeded our expectations. We had our wedding at the Inn, and the staff and owners' attentiveness and care put into planning our day was exceptionable. They made our wedding day so easy and eased our nerves. Nick, the Innkeeper, did an amazing job answering any questions we had prior to the stay, as well as when we were there. Every time we would come in, Nick always greeted us and made us feel welcome. On our special day, Keith, one of the owners, surprised me with a bouquet for our ceremony and thought of every detail such as keeping the cork to the champagne bottle we popped after getting married. The staff in the mornings serving us during breakfast made us feel so special as they were asking about our wedding day. The rooms were spotless and very clean. Our stay here is something that will hold a place in our hearts forever. We cannot wait to come back this summer and for our anniversaries to come. Thank you again to the Landmark Inn for being so welcoming, nice, and lovely.

Not only is the inn ideally situated for walking to the Hall of Fame Museum and for getting to the wonderful Fenimore Museum, it provides a lovely and peaceful escape from the hordes donned in baseball attire milling all over town. The grounds are large and beautifully landscaped, and the owners make it clear you are free to fully enjoy them. The Inn itself is a carefully curated haven -- exquisite but not stuffy. Rooms are comfortable and the bedding first-rate. The rooms do vary a lot in both size and decor, and it merits taking time to select the one that works best for you. Coffee, tea, water, cookies, and clementines are available 24/7, as are the owners who live in a house behind the inn and are hands-on. They are present and fully engaged. They win top honors for mastering that rare skill of being welcoming without being intrusive. The entire staff is aces. Breakfasts are served at two seatings and change daily. The fixed menu is displayed at the front desk the night before. Breakfasts are prepared and served with real care. TLC is evident in every corner of The Landmark Inn. You will not find better accommodations in Cooperstown.

The Landmark Inn is a wonderful B & B in Cooperstown, NY. It's located very conveniently and is a short walk to Main Street and the Baseball Hall of Fame. The rooms are very clean. My husband and I stayed in the Petite I. It was like having our own little cottage. A sliding door opened onto a back porch that was lovely. The breakfast that was served the 2 mornings we were there was absolutely delicious. The homemade apple sauce and spinach quiche were my favorite. So good! You can see the Landmark takes a lot of time making sure everything is just right. Everyone connected with the inn is very gracious and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at the Landmark Inn for 6 nights. We came to Cooperstown to watch our grandson play baseball. We had a great time. Our room had a private entrance and a terrace where we enjoyed a drink in the afternoons. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was super, super friendly, and the breakfasts were delicious.Thank you to John and Keith (owners), also to Nick, and Vita (in the kitchen). If we go back to Cooperstown we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here at this pristine, charming, polished bed and breakfast last week. If I could give it 100 stars I would. I can not explain how delighted I was with the beautiful decor, the attention to detail, the perfectly clean housekeeping and warm hospitality. Nothing is overlooked at this bed and breakfast. I have stayed at a lot of Victorian Bed and Breakfasts and so far, this place was hands down the cream of the crop. The breakfast was phenomenal. The pumpkin pancakes were heavenly. We stayed in the lovely Summer s Suite and I couldn t have been happier with my stay. Kudos to the owners, management, and staff for making our stay perfect in every way.

My fianc and I went to the landmark to get married and we brought our family and friends along. We held the wedding in the lounge in front of their Christmas tree. Everything was set up perfectly and looked gorgeous. The food is delicious thanks to the hilarious chef Vina. Everybody who works there from the owners to the chef are the nicest, most welcoming people I ve ever met, they made us feel like family. The whole wedding went off without a hitch thanks to them. They took care of everything from beginning to end and made it all so easy. Thanks to them there was no stress involved and we had a beautiful wedding. All the pictures on the website are actually what the house looks like every room is absolutely gorgeous and super comfortable. I also want to mention how nice, helpful, funny and generous the owners John & Keith are, also how funny, attentive and welcoming the innkeeper Nick is. Our stay was absolutely amazing but it was made perfect by these people.
