My experience was very pleasant and satisfying. Had an accident and couldn't find a body shop that would deal my insurance. Found Mendozas and took he took my vehicle right away. Withing a few days I got my car back looking like new. Most importantly, has great customer service! I Highly recommend this shop!!!

The BEST! I highly recommend Mendoza s to anyone in need of a body shop. They are quick & efficient! I was pleasantly surprised when they got our car done a week early! Earlier this year I took my car to Mendoza s. He said I could drop my car off on a Monday and it would be ready by Wednesday/Thursday. I called on Thursday to check on the car and Mendoza said he needed until Saturday. I called on Friday to confirm the time for Saturday and the owner was extremely rude stating that he doesn t need my business in the future, will have the car ready soon and hung up on me. Additionally, they refused to submit the supplemental claim required by the insurance company.This place was a complete headache and I d avoid them entirely in the future.

Very rude over the phone. He didn t even see my car and told me I have to drop the car. Then I asked why since it could just be a simple thing then he said why u don t do it yourself which exactly I did and it didn t cost me a dime. Keep being rude to customers who pay your bills buddy. You will end up closing doors one day.

I called Mendoza's 10 minutes before closing and the owner said he would wait for me up to 45 minutes to bring my car in. I rolled into Mendoza's dragging my undercarriage on a car I should have towed rather than driven. Mendoza took the car right away, gave me a quote in line with expectations the next day, and when my car was ready the next week, he sent one of his people to pick me up in my car at home. I appreciate the service, short notice repair and the consideration to pick me up at home. I will definitely call them first if I'm in need of another repair.

If you have an older used vehicle, this may be the place for you. The prices are very reasonable, and the employee who does the painting is phenomenal, hence the 3 stars. I brought them a 2019 truck, which needed a new rear quarter panel. I received what I thought was a very fair price. While the paint match was perfect, they managed to scratch my tailgate and gas lid, and got overspray around the entire vehicle, including my rims. Then I discovered they never realigned the fender to the tailgate correctly, so there is a difference between both sides. They also did not fix a dent inside the bed that was supposed to be in the price. There are also specs chips of paint missing from my roof. The owner claimed "we didn't do that" but it either a) came from the iron beam that was above where they parked my truck or b) when they buffed the whole truck out. The owner denied this, but I am not stupid. I know a vehicle is entirely buffed to ensure everything matches. The truck had 6k miles. Then tonight, I discovered the panel they replaced was missing the "textured" rock guard. It was clear they did "just enough" so I wouldn't notice these things, and so he could get my $.

I have nothing but great things to say about Mendoza's. They worked with my insurance company to get a fair estimate, and repaired my car damage beautifully and quickly. They were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them.

A wonderful spot to fix any vehicle issues. Not only is Mendoza's Body Shop the only mechanic shop open on a Saturday (in the Cohoes area), but the guys there, Arnold and Rick, are welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. They fixed my license plates free of charge, and provided excellent customer service. I can't recommend these guys enough. Thanks Arnold and Rick!

Absolutely thorough and meticulous. They were right on top of things and kept me up-to-date on my vehicle. When I got it back it was beautiful and as pretty as the day I bought it. I would recommend the shop to everyone

MENDOZA's is an Amazing Auto Shop to do business with!!! Besides being Professionals, they are an Honest, Humble, Polite, Auto Mechanics that I have EVER met in my Life!!! A few wks. ago Cohoes was vandalized. Some kids spray painted quite a few cars. When I took my SUV to Mendoza's to get the spray paint taken off, Mr. Mendoza, himself, insisted that it was Free & even refused to take a tip. Any car that was brought to him for the same reason, he refused payment & did an AWESOME JOB! THANKS AGAIN MENDOZA!!!

This is the place to go, no BS Mendoza s is straight to the point.. He was very good at using the insurance system to make extra money and hurt me with premiums- he is charming, a la Trump, with his methodical lies.I believe karma will hit him back down the road.
