I needed to have a used car I was thinking about buying evaluated and repaired. My previous mechanic had retired and I called J & D based on Google Reviews. Even though they were booked up, I was told to drop the car off and they'd look at it when they had some spare time. They called me the same day with the list of what the car needed and reasons Not to buy it! They could have made thousands but were honest on why I shouldn't repair it anywhere. They didn't even charge me for their time!Honest, Good, Independent Car Shops are sadly a dying breed. I am so grateful there's still this one.

I drive from Schenectady-Rotterdam to have any work done. Jerry and the guys are the absolute best. Honest, honest, honest. Love!!!!

I was referred to J & D Auto by my doctor who uses them. The mechanics there knowledgeable, honest, and reliable. I refer anyone who has any type of issues go here. My only issues I have with them is that they are only open Monday through Friday. But I guess any good mechanic has those same hours.

These guys are the real deal. They got an extensive repair done quickly and when one of the parts failed, replaced it at no cost. I went to benders in cohoes I had a problem with my hood was stuck they told me they would have to take everything off and would take three hours I left came to J&Ds around the corner they look worked and fixed in 35 mins I was so very happy great service 5 stars and at a very low fair price to boot

THEY DON'T LET YOU BRING YOUR OWN BRAND NEW PARTS. THAT'S SHADY..IT'S SO THEY CAN OVERCHARGE YOU ON THE PARTS THEY GET FOR YOU. NOT RECOMMENDED.
