Never waste your money here I had a minor car accident in February, I left my car here for convenience, because the body shop was recommended by the insurance company, but the nightmare began. 19 days later, the body shop asked me to pick up my car, but I found that the engine light was on, the hood sensor light was on, and the lights on the steering wheel buttons and horn were not working. The staff explained to me that the hood sensor was broken, but since it wasn't related to the collision, they wouldn't fix it. They said the other issues were due to lack of specialized equipment and advised me to go to a dealership to reset the programming, claiming that would fix the problem. So, I went to the dealership and spent $47 on a new hood sensor, but the problem persisted. I realized the issue wasn't as simple as they claimed. At the same time, I also noticed that the passenger-side headlight replaced by the body shop felt odd; it didn't illuminate well in front but was bright on the side. The staff tried readjusting it, but it didn't help. Whatever, at this point, I only care about the engine issue; I don't care about anything else. So, I complained to the insurance company about the vehicle's engine light problem. So, the insurance company had the body shop send my car to a dealership for a professional inspection. Eventually, the dealership found that the issues were caused by broken wire harness on the collision side. After replacing the wire harness, all the problems were resolved. While I was relieved, it also meant that I had wasted $47 buying the hood sensor unnecessarily, because the dealership wouldn't refund it. But fortunately, the dealership found an issue with the newly replaced passenger-side headlight - the daytime running light wasn't working, and it couldn't be repaired. The insurance company agreed to purchase an original factory headlight to replace the poor-quality aftermarket headlight bought by the body shop. (It broke in less than two weeks, luckily within the 30-day warranty period, thankfully it broke quickly). As a result, the body shop replaced a defective factory headlight and refused to adjust the gaps on the left and right sides of the hood. I'm very confused. This body shop doesn't seem to have professional skills. They have to send any slightly complex issues back to the dealership for repair "It means you'll have to spend more money dealing with rental cars.", but they can't even handle basic bodywork issues. How did they manage to get such high ratings? Do costumes not inspect their vehicles when they pick them up?

I was very nervous going in. They were very helpful, kind and courteous, easing my fairs. They walked me through the process and updates were frequent. Car was ready earlier than estimated. Staff all deserve 5 stars.

My repairs are perfect (fender bender, smashed front end)! The work was done fast. And they even helped me get my sunglasses back after I left them in my rental. Saved me a trip and I was super thankful. Definitely pleased with my service.

Jeremiah provided outstanding care & professional service from start to finish. I was traumatized emotionally from my vehicle accident & he was extremely compassionate & understanding. My car was returned in showroom status ~absolutely perfect! A shout out also to Austin, for being so flexible with understanding my challenging work schedule and difficulty getting my vehicle there.I will always remember this outstanding experience, and will fur to everyone, I know!

I just want to say, the folks over at Caliber Collision really know how to make a customer happy! The desk representative was very kind and informative, and Jeannine went above and beyond to communicate updates and get my vehicle repair done as fast as possible. Expecting only a bumper replacement and they did me one better! They repainted my front bumper where previous damage occurred so it looks just like new and did not once act as if I did not understand the work they were doing on my car(I am a woman and this tends to be common practice out in NY, it felt great to be treated with dignity and respect!) I am going to be back for future needed repairs and would recommend them to anyone, especially my family and friends, thank you Jeannine & team!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I have never experienced such wonderful customer service. Repairs were done very quickly, arrangements were made for loaner car, and I was kept informed every step of the way. Thanks to Robert and the rest of the employees I had a seamless experience at Caliber. Rob made sure my rental agreement was squared away and gave me detailed explanations about the entire process, making sure to keep me up to date at each step. My car was done very quickly and I m so happy with how it looks!

I am sorrowfully late on adding this review but I definitely found my way back to ensure my positive experience was notated!Obviously supply constraints don't make for a pleasant experience but that aside my initial experience with my repair was arguably inconsistent. Friendliness and periodic communication were on point but the actual work was not. I did get a "some excuses" vibe when not committing to promises made (I did request additional painting that I would pay for out of pocket and needed a tire, both were assured).When I got my vehicle there were alignment issues (I also noted on a visit and was told would be addressed prior to pick up), my radiator fluid was over filled to its max, and no washer fluid beside other minor qualms. Told I could bring it back for those things. I said I could return within a week as I was off and was told no. I made clear I was unsure but I probably couldn't return for a month or more - not my preference.About 2 or so months later I call to figure things out. I was met with different management who were very concerned and eager to help immediately. I was greeted by a very pleasant and unabashedly competent team. I'm not even sure they knew the whole story and were still openly desirous of meeting my expectations. My issues were taken, deemed appropriate, and I was in and out with my car back to her beautiful original condition (as far as I was concerned) within a week.I'm from a car monkey family and keep my own vehicle as pristine as I can muster. This is apparent by my vehicles condition and was made clear from the start, regardless. Yes, I am particular because I know the difference.The recent team respected that, made no excuses, and openly expressed a desire to meet their company standards. Not only were they professional and flawless in their execution they were also genuinely lovely and caring folks to work with. At no point was I unsure of what would transpire and every one of my issue resolutions were thoroughly explained. 7 stars if they were available I hope their management knows what a great team they have and recognize them for it! And also, maybe, find a better configuration of that parking lot for them ...

The team at Caliber was awesome, keeping me up to date the entire time, were very polite and professional on the phone when I would call for updates, and worked very hard to work through insurance roadblocks to get my car back to me before the weekend. They used the correct parts and were accommodating to my requested aftermarket replacements (modded car), and used OEM parts where specified. The work was done correctly the first time, and they even washed it for me! Would definitely recommend Caliber to friends and family for any repairs.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Robert and Tanya and the entire Caliber Collision Cohoes team is amazing! This was my second repair at this shop and they have a customer in me for life. I'll be back to this shop for all of my repairs moving forward. Robert called me throughout the week to let me know the status of my parts and any updates throughout the entire process. Everyone is always so kind and friendly and attentive. They explained everything respectfully and thoughtfully and never talked down to me like I have been at other shops. You can tell they really care about you as a person as well as your car. Very hospitality focused and customer service oriented. I'll be back here time and time again and will tell all my friends and family to go here as well. Highly recommend!

The team at this Caliber Collision went above and beyond my own expectations in providing excellent customer service. They provided thorough, timely, accurate, and articulate communication as my Audi went through the repair process, updating me on every stage. The quality of the work performed was arguably better than factory specifications as the car looked better than when I bought it. This shop was able to get the car in, perform the necessary repairs and have it ready to pick up very quickly. Delays with part availability and a backlog of repairs for many body shops has led to scheduling repairs out for months in advance. I was able to get a reasonable repair appointment and the repairs themself were performed very quickly. (Bumper repair/paint) The staff are working hard to lower the wait time while ensuring the work performed remains high quality. The whole team is friendly and provides excellent customer service. Any future repairs my friends or coworkers may need will come with a highly rated recommendation for Caliber Collusion. Although car repairs are usually not easy, the team ensured all my questions were answered and the process was easy and painless.Service: Body & Trim

This place was tasked to fix a small scratch in my door. They replaced my black running board with a chrome running board which is bent so bad that you can t step on it. If I bring my car to a car wash or drive on the highway. Pieces of my bumper fly off. They totally ruined my truck. I wish I could give less than one star. I had to return several times and that was before pieces of my truck fell off.Service: Body & Trim

They were friendly from getting the estimate all the way to the finish work. They did amazing job on my Chevy made it look brand new.
