Kevin answered all our questions. He was up front and knowledgeable about all the vehicles. He was very courteous and patient as we test drove 4 different cars in our price range. We looked them all over. We wanted to find the right one for us. We found a great 2013 Honda CRV that just fit our budget. Best deal we found in a 100 mile radius of Bath, NY.

I thought with my first impression of Kevin he would be a stand up guy but that did not happen. Bought our vehicle in the winter and made it very clear that the A:C was a must . I asked prior to signing the papers that if there was an issue he would take care of it and he agreed right in front of my daughter .I would not refer anyone to him because his word is worth nothing because he doesn t stand by it period .I called him prior to bringing it out to him over a hour away and he recto fix it .Stay clear is my advice!!

It's hard for me to say I would send someone here to buy a car. The car we looked at was in decent shape, but had a significant amount of rust on the backend that Kevin and his mechanic insisted was "superficial." He refused to provide us with a CarFax, which we later found out from a different dealership was likely because the car we were looking at (2013 Kia Sportage) has a recall on it that he didn't want us to ask questions about. Not providing CarFax is a major red flag and why I would not send someone here. He also wouldn't take money off the price for missing a second key fob when we told him we needed it and it would cost $200 to get one made. We ended up going somewhere else that repaired the things we asked them to and provided a second key and CarFax, all free of charge. Kevin was polite, but clearly, he did not care if we bought the car because he knows someone with less car-buying experience will anyway despite some of these issues.Edited to give a "command of the facts:" The Auto Check was a screenshot of the first page on his cellphone Kevin said he couldn't print to show us. Additionally, the heat shield was damaged when we looked at it under a lift and it needed an oil change. But seriously, why would you go here when you can go somewhere else where they will fix the things you ask them to (especially on a car with a recall), provide proper paperwork, and include necessities (like a second key) for free? That's really all there is to it.

So first of all let me say when you are buying a used car as a customer you are responsible for doing your research on the car you are looking at and gather as much information as you could (carfax and google) are very good, also you can pay for a third party inspections, this is a big and important purchase and you should be as educated as possible. With that being said I traveled 4 hours to check out a car that I was interested in and once I got there (and confirmed the day before the car was there and any concerns and questions) Kevin the owner was very friendly and honest (which are rare quality s in salesmen) and after test driving and going over some concerns I had, we came to an agreement on price which we were both happy with (remember he has to make a living). After that he informed me that I would be better off getting financing threw my own bank (because his banks usually charge high interest). So I left a small deposit and drove home and search for a bank to finance my car, well it took a month and Kevin was patient and waited till I was able to get everything sorted out(another quality rare in salesmen). So I m very pleased with my purchase and also my experience with Kevin and his way of doing business. Very highly recommend him.

Excellent experience. Kevin, the owner, was great to work with, made everything super fun and easy, even accommodated my coming in from Buffalo to view the car initially, leading of course to the sale of it.Just picked up my truck yesterday, a d it's been flawless thus far, and anticipate continued reliablness as the vehicle is in excellent condition for its age.I couldn't be happier with my experience here, and would buy from Kevin again.

Driving two hours to claim a truck you envisioned, was nothing. Calling the gentleman after the 14th and him saying it was still available, is exciting. But to get there and find out that the truck was sold before the 14th and he didnt have the decency to call to tell us that, is poor quality in a dealership. 2/5 stars for this mom and pop shop.

First time buyer from Peoples Choice Auto and has been a fantastic experience. Kevin the owner/operator is a genuinely nice and honest guy. He was asking a very fair price for the car I was interested in and I was very happy to pay it. Great service and overall experience, would highly recommend to anyone who needs a quality vehicle at a fair price.

My daughter bought a car here and had it for only 3 months and the transmission went. She went to the dealer and they didn't want to know anything. Now she's paying on a car that she can't even drive. Beware of this dealership!! They sell lemons!!

I would NEVER buy another vehicle from here. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy. I bought a car from them about a month ago. I had my car 3 days and had to bring it back. The transmission went in it so they had to replace it. Apparently it takes over 3 weeks to do so. Also in the back of my car was a ton of water!! When I brought it back Kevin said it was normal. If you know it's a problem shouldn't you have done something about it? On top of all this, the customer service was down right horrible. Worst experience ever with purchasing a vehicle.

I purchased a 2011 GMC Acadia on June 17, 2020 with 104,000 miles from Kevin at People's Choice Auto. When I looked at vehicle it looked like it was leaking oil. Kevin stated that it was due to the oil just being changed. Test drove vehicle it seemed like a decent vehicle but I'm not a mechanic. Long story short within a half an hour of having vehicle to the next couple weeks it was leaking oil, vibrating, burning smell, awful noise. Dropped it off to Kevin to take to his repair shop on July 19, 2020 they had the vehicle for one month. I did not receive any work orders and found out that they ran repairs through my Wynn's warranty and did not provide me with any work orders. The vehicle had no transmission fluid no coolant still leaking oil three lug nuts were missing on right front. I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle this dealer or getting repairs done at reliable auto. I paid 13 Grand for a lemon and waiting for NY State DMV to inspect vehicle and the attorney generals office to complete investigation while a pay for a rental for the past month and insurance and monthly payment on a vehicle that is not safe for me and my family to drive .

Bought a Jeep Patriot from this dealership. They seem to be vehicles from the auction, and therefore the dealer doesn't know much about them. The first 2 weeks of owning the Jeep, it needed a wheel bearing put on, the check engine light came on, and the tailgate light came on. He did get the wheel bearing fixed, but it still feels like something is wrong in the front end. The tailgate light, he said wasn't covered under warranty, so he unplugged the unit that monitors if the tailgate is closed or not. The Jeep came with a 3 month 4500 mile warranty. I have driven it just over 2700 miles and the car completely lost throttle ability while I was driving down the road. The vehicle is in "limp mode" and won't go over 25 miles an hour. Kevin said it isn't covered under the warranty and won't fix it. I couldn't even drive the car yesterday - within the warranty time, and he would not cover it or any part of the necessary repair. The computer reader said it needs a new Throttle body for about $600! I bought from a "dealer" so I wouldn't have to worry about this kind of thing. The garage has done a "re-learn" on the throttle body to see if that will fix the problem. I will keep you updated if the problem is resolved with satisfaction by the dealership and will update my star review. :) all I can say now is use caution.

It was okay, the negotiations didn't go so great but they had a decent choice of vehicles. I would not say the place was bad and I would have bought a car there except I found something else that I liked better at another location with a better price. (not related to this place).

I bought a decent car here, looks nice. Runs not so great, I had an issue early on that needed to be fixed and he brought it in had my car for 3 days and once I got it back, wasn t even fixed. So I told him I m gonna call for another appt and to get something else looked at, as the ac blower wasn t working properly and it needed to be fixed. I called he told me he d call me back with an appt date; never called back. So I called again, approx 5 times throughout the next couple weeks, and each time it was I will have to call you back when I get a good time to fit you in. Now my car was past warranty and he no longer was willing to help to get me the proper help needed to make the car enjoyable. I could go on, but truth is, don t shop here. He ll sell you anything and when you need help under warranty he s MIA.

Bought a true lemon here! Had problems right away ( 4 days post purchase) and the owner told me use the warranty . the warranty wouldn t cover any of them! I brought it Toyota and they said these issues were all preexisting when it was traded in and sent to auction where he bought it! I wouldn t buy my worst enemy a car here!!

Sorry Kevin been a little busy. Been wanting to leave very a positive review and experience we had with you. A couple of months ago we bought a 09 Toyota truck from you. Wanted to say THANK YOU Kevin for working with us and being patient. You weren't pushy, you were very understanding and you really worked with us to get this deal done on this truck. I know it was a lot of back and forth with what you needed to get this done. But we got it done!!! Again Thank you!!!

I'm so glad I decided to ignore the two previous negative reviews. My experience was completely different.I was shopping for a car for my son.I have purchased many new and used cars so I'm familiar with the process.Kevin and I were easily able to negotiate a price that we both were happy with.He made the necessary repairs to the car without any prodding or input from me.The day I went to pick up the car Kevin had all the paperwork ready, including the DMV registration form MV-82.He's not required to do that so it was a nice touch.Upon our return from the DMV I could see that Kevin had washed the car, another nice touch. The dealership is small but clean and organized.I would recommend Peoples Choice Auto to anyone.

Buying the car of my dreams was a great experience! The previous owner (only other owner) was not issued a title, when she registered in ny state, from New Hampshire, and Kevin worked tirelessly to get a title. It was a 2 month process, but understandable, titles, when never issued before, can be a pain in the butt to get! Kevin got it done! We texted each other over that time, and he is very quick to respond to any text I send him. I have a problem with some of these low star ratings. My dad had a Pharmacy years ago, and he got some riff raff, that just couldn't be pleased! Kevin is a decent guy, and making an honest living. He doesn't have a freakin crystal ball people, nor x-ray vision! cut him some slack, and don't buy a car under the suspicion that he's a "typical salesman"! Get off that mentality! There are things that don't show up when the car is evaluated, but show up later, believe me, I've been working on cars for 46 years, and have seen it all! Give the guy a chance! I have the knack for typing people when I first meet them. My dad had the same gift. I see a guy with a small dealership trying to make an honest living. I'd rather deal with him, instead of a large get'm in get'm out dealership. I HIGHLY recommend him! OK, I'll get off my soapbox! Happy to now own a Saab 9-3 XWD! Nothing drive like a Saab!

Very nice People but, the car is now having issues after 8 months. After 1 month the issue showed up and by that time my warranty was done. I get the fact it's a used car just wished I knew it had the issue or it was starting when I bought it. I won't be buying another used car unless it's only 2 years old and not 10 years old. Always check everything on a used car before buying it. I made that mistake. It seemed reliable but the issue was just in the early stages.

I purchased a 2013 VW Jetta GLI from Peoples Choice Auto, the experience was very easy and comforting. From my first visit to the lot to the time I picked up the car Kevin was very helpful and understanding of my needs and concerns about buying a used vehicle. I truly enjoyed the experience and I am very happy with the price and quality of the VW. I ll check back in when it s time for another purchase.... Thanks again !

Kevin was great! Answered my many phone calls and questions. Was very patient and helped us through the whole process. Sometimes he was busy with other customers but always made time to get back to me! The car he sold me works great.

Kevin Nesbytowski the owner is a real gentleman. I bought a used car from him to replace my car that was totaled. He was not pushy and the car was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend anyone to contact Kevin for any of their used car needs.David NuHavun, owner Central New Your Real Estate Group

Very poor customer service skill, they re completely unresponsive. I ve sent emails, made phone calls, and have even been there twice. Last time I was there Kevin was supposed to call me back, and it s been over a week with no call back. After reading several reviews, I m grateful for no response!! Would not recommend buying a vehicle from them.

I bought a car from Kevin last January. I told him I needed a reliable car that will last me for the next five years to get through school. After owning my car for one year, I have had to put almost as much into repairs as I did buying the car. I explained to him that I was unfamiliar with cars, as I am obviously a young girl, I obviously made the mistake in trusting him, and he sold me a vehicle that was completely rusted out underneath. When I was hit in a parking lot and my car was under "warrantee," I took it to a nearby place through my insurance, who then told me several parts were completely rusted out and needed to be replaced ASAP. When I contacted Kevin regarding the warrantee, he said the warrantee only covers repairs made at his repair shop. I will never step foot in this place again. I am a college student with little money and little knowledge about cars and he used this to his advantage.

We went to purchase a vehicle not because we wanted one but because we needed one! We found one on the lot, it needed tires. Kevin wasn't very helpful in haggling with the price knowing we would have to put tires on the vehicle which would cost us over $100 each, plus here this car is on the lot so you would think you can buy it and take it like a normal car lot...but no...he tells us he has to get the car inspected and checked out. Isn't that what you are supposed to do before you put the cars out on the lot??? So ok, we figure the next day we can pick up the car because we really need it..well Kevin doesn't call all day until night time to tell us the garage has to fix the cv shaft so maybe we will get the car the next day. Next day, he doesn't call so we have to call him, now he tells us the garage hasn't taken our car in yet..(this is Saturday) so we won't be getting the car until probably Monday. Mind you we started this process on Thursday. Monday, no call for car..Tuesday he calls to say the car is ready....we have a life..we bought a car because we needed a car. We put a $200 deposit on this car and the inspection was supposed to be included in purchase price but he charged us for it....don't go here...we ended up not getting the car....we do not trust this place. Very unprofessional and they will not give us our money back. They do not care about the customer at all!!!!!

I went there and was interested in a car so I put in my application and asked him if I could give him a deposit. He said no need to put down a deposit it will be here. I left and after 2 days never heard anything so called and left a message which he never returned...so I went there and he said the banks were jammed up and as soon as he heard something he would call me. So 2 more days go by and I call and a different guy answers and says someone put a deposit on that car so it's sold. I don't know what kind of business man he is but that was very unprofessional if you ask me.

Great experience here! I had a 3 month warranty and had a small issue so I brought the car back to get looked at and it was ready the next day all fixed up! Fair prices for great vehicles.
