Best mechanic in CNY, hands down! I've taken all of my vehicles here and referred many people, including my own mother.Jeff is honest about wait times and scheduling, diagnoses issues quickly, and is fair and reasonable with his pricing. He works on everything from classics to new vehicles. He is truly an honest mechanic, which is harder to find than you would think.Have been going here over 10 years with 5 different vehicles and wouldn't go anywhere else!

This place is great! Jeff is a great guy. I'm newer in town , and needed some tires put on and inspection. Jeff was very accommodating had me in on the same day. I also had to come back another day. With a couple of other tires and once again got me in the same day had me in and out very quick and very friendly service. Would highly recommend 100% very hard to find guys like this to work on cars nowadays.

Absolutely amazing guys that work here!!They where so nice and hooked me up replacing a part for my chevy cruze in which they ordered same day and installed with ease as well as a price I could never get from the dealer!I usually take my stuff I to gm out in dr8vers village and have most reimbursed...but it was so cheap and I did not have the ability to do all the driv8ng and waiting I went with Jeff!Thanks again guys for all you have done and I will be in for my I section very soon!If anyone is thinking about anything whatesoever in which needs to be repaired for your car (or oil change/inspection etc.) Do yourself and your wallet a favor and go with Jeff Blacks!

I've spent years looking for a mechanic shop that id fast, ad good prices, and great customer service! Well I've finally found the place. I went here for an inspection and they got me in same day and I was out in 20 minutes. Then when my brakes went they were able to get me in the next day. It was a pretty big fix, but they were able to get it done in only a few hours, and it was a whole lot cheaper than it would've been most other places. To top it all off he gave me a ride to and from my friends house while I waited! Best mechanic in our area hands down.

A friend of mine turned me onto this place and I turned my mother onto it. Jeff is fair and honest and his prices are reasonable. The work gets done well and in a timely manner. What else could you ask for out of your mechanic? Truly 5 stars.

This is the best mechanic in central square. They are quick and very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have work done on a car or truck. They also do inspections without appointment!! Great for last minute slackers like me who forget they need to have their car inspected!! They are all around a great shop!!

Jeff was a great help to me when a piece of ice damaged the guard under my engine. Having never been a customer before I called up and he got me right in. It's nice to know places like this still exist. I plan to go back again and again. Thank you!

We moved here to Central Square a few years ago from Baldwinsville and have been looking for a local auto shop. Jeff s was highly recommended by numerous friends and neighbors. Very professional. My 21 year old Saturn started leaking brake fluid from the rear wheel cylinder while we were visiting family near Central Square on Memorial Day weekend. Several other garages had told us there was no way they could work on our car before the next Tuesday, if even then. I finally called Jeff Black's Auto Repair; they were also booked up but said they'd look at my car and see what they could do. I dropped off the vehicle and just a couple of hours later they called to tell me that all I'd needed was replacement of the brake cylinder and that the car was ready to be picked up. I really appreciated them working me in just before the holiday weekend. They charged a fair price and didn't try coercing me into getting unnecessary work done.

Jeff is always dependable and takes care of his customers my wife and have taken all of our vehicles here for 12 years from our new trucks to the classics the guys at the shop are great too

Heading home to Kansas from a 2 week camping trip to New England and our truck camper had the water pump breakdown. Lucky to be near an exit on I-81, and rolled into Mirabito Fuel Stop. At least 3 people stopped by to offer help and one gentleman even got a bit dirty figuring out the problem. We contacted AAA for a tow, but were had zero repair shops willing to see us within a week. We spent the night in the parking lot with the permission of Mirabito. Penny's Tow Service recommended Jeff Black's Auto Repair. We called and talked to JP and he was familiar with the diesel engine and the water pump location. Very helpful. Jeff was not yet available. I called NAPA Auto Parts and they had the water pump and new belt in stock. I called back and Jeff said they were booked up, but "We can't let you sit for days for a water pump. If you can get it here, we will get it done for you." I directed AAA to use Penny's Tow to help us get our truck camper there. Penny's got it there, JP worked on it and we left that afternoon. We are home, and the truck performed perfect. And the bill was extremely reasonable. The friendliness of the 8-10 people we ran into during our 22 hour stay was quite impressive. If you are using another repair shop in Central Square, you should probably try Jeff Black. His reputation is well earned. My wife and I thank you, Jeff.

Jeff black Auto repair Mr Black told me that I needed to replace my transmission lines they looked a little sketchy cuz of New York winners Mr Black changed my lines they did not properly do them and they came apart about a hundred miles after he fixed them burnt my transmission out Mr Black told me he would not fix my truck even though it was their fault while my transmission went bad Mr Black was very irritable very on business like I would never do business there again and I did business there since I bought my truck which was almost 7 years beware of Mr Black's Auto repair

Wonderful customer service. Even though some of the items could only be fixed at the dealer, I will be using this place from now on. You don't find too many honest people these days...you will find them here.
