When I walked into the shop . Things were busy but the employee at the front desk did greet me outside of everything else that was going and I waited patiently for my turn in line . Setting my appointment was very fast and easy . We cracked a few jokes and that is always a thumbs up in my book! Bringing your vehicle into the shop is already a bummer depending on what you have going on . But these guys made we feel a lot better when I left! Thank you guys!!!!!

Tried to charge my elderly mother almost $1000 in services that weren t needed. Lied and stated he changed an o2 sensor for free and upon taking it to a different mechanic was told the sensor wasn t changed and was rusted on. Said she needed a new battery when she didn t and it turned out the only issue was a single spark plug. When my son picked up my mother s car and told the manager he was going to repair the van himself, the manager went off on him (he was a 17 year old child).My son left a negative review about the experience and then deleted it the manager PRINTED OFF THE DELETED REVIEW and hung it up for a YEAR waiting for my mother to finally come back so he could try and screw her some more and proceeded to show it to her and tell her my son was incredibly disrespectful, etc.The lack of integrity and professionalism by the manager is not only astonishing, but disgusting. No wonder he used to own his own business that went under.I wouldn t take a bicycle to this guy. BTW - print this one off and cry about it if you want. I won t be deleting this one.

They broke my oil pan cap and did not mention it, I got another oil change at another place they said whoever changed your oil last broke it and monroe is the answer. So they charged me 100$ to break my shyt and then the oil didn't even last half of the time it was supposed to what a joke. And replaced it with a bolt I'm not happy.

We are new to the area and we took our vehicle to Munro for a state inspection and an oil change. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Each time we didn t have a long wait. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely return for winter tires. It s difficult to find a place you can trust to be honest in this day and age. I appreciated the kindness. It was clean and well organized. We live in Carthage so it s convenient, but I would be willing to travel a bit to have an honest, reliable garage. Give this place a try!

We did the online scheduling and found out that it doesn't mesh real well with their real schedules. The young man there worked very hard to make sure that My car got in and inspected. I was completely thrilled with how he made this work. Know how hard it is in the mechanic field so seeing him go out of his way was really awesome. Would definitely go back again.

Had an issue with my truck, called them up and made an appointment. They found the problem and gave me several options cost wise. They did the work and picked it up the next day. Very helpful staff, definitely be back.Well I said I would be back and I was. This time I brought the car in. It needed a lot of work. Got the estimate, made the appointment to get the work done. Then they called me and said they could do the work now. They did the work, got the car back and now it rides real smooth. Thanks Monro you guys are awesome.

Made an appointment for an oil change, went in and told me they changed the appointment to the next day. Um I'm from out of town, i work here overnights, can't leave car, and oil changes are no appointment needed.

I've been coming to this shop for years and I have never been let down. Their prices are fair and they're incredibly honest. I deliver for a living and recently had some issues with my brakes and some struts that broke. Rob was able to get me in the bay in only a few days. He was also able to get parts shipped all the way from Syracuse overnight. He was 100% dedicated to getting me back on the road safely. My car drives and breaks like it's brand new. It's like they breathe new life into my breaks.This has always been my experience here, extreme professionalism and customer service.Thank you very much Rob!

Just moved to the area and have used Monro for a routine oil change and tire rotation, and tire swap for winter. They have fair prices, positive guys, and they haven't tried to sell me anything I didn't need. I don't mind sitting and waiting for my vehicle. Those guys create a good atmosphere while they're working, which makes everyone happier: customers and employees. Rob has answered any questions I've had directly and honestly. My only critique (probably because they are always very busy!) is that it took over an hour for my tire swap which did not need mounting or balancing. Seems a little long for that service ( I could be wrong!), but I will take it for the great customer service they provide at fair prices. They work on a lot of vehicles with just a few folks!

The person who installed my tires did an excellent job. Very thorough. I watched him and he did everything way above and beyond. I think he was the manager. I would definitely go back. He made sure when he loaded my old tires that I could reach them in the back of the truck without having to crawl in to get them.

Went in for an oil change. Ended up replacing brake pads as well. Since having vehicle serviced last weekend, my thermostat appears to not be registering, the fan continues to run 5-10 minutes after shutting the vehicle off, and the check engine light came on today. None of these issues existed prior to visiting to have my oil changed.

Can t thank Monro In Carthage enough! We were in the middle of moving and started having issues with our truck. After reaching out to 10+ repair shops, Monro was the only place that was able to look at the truck that day. Professional, knowledgeable, and honest. Kept us informed at each phase of analysis and repair. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to repair shop!

Friendly staff and great price for a tire fill, balance, and 4 valve stem replacements. They also didn't mind me hanging around with my 1 year old which I always appreciate. And they didn't try to sell me things that I know I don't need.I love when I find honest places like this. Too many times I have gone in other places for some work that needs specific machines (like a tire balance) and they see a "helpless woman" and try to tell me all the things I need for my car lol. Little do they know my husband was a mechanic before joining the military and regularly replaces clutches and other big jobs for friends in our home garage. He always tells me what to expect and when to walk away as well as maintains our vehicles.This place passed the test! Definitely recommended.

The gentleman behind the counter, I believe his name was Todd, was very professional. He had gotten my vehicle in and done in a timely manner. Always professional, and excellent service. The office was clean. My vehicle report was accurate. Would highly recommend to all.

If you bring it in for an oil change or tire rotation and have been for years go for it. But I don't recommend bringing anything in with a real issue. They broke my car worse than when I brought it in and basically told me to take it to a dealer. After it basically couldn't start anymore and I had to wait 4 hours for a tow. Also while I sat their waiting they argued with multiple customers over prices and maintenance. Never again Monroe muffler...Never again.

Very honest from my first visit about what I needed and the total cost. The total cost ended up being in the range I was quoted and the service was done well and fairly quick. Will be coming back for sure.

Absolutely great service, I was a little skeptical after speaking to an employee to initially schedule my oil change but I was beyond impressed with the mechanic who had changed my oil.I had come in on time for my appointment at 4:30 and the mechanic (who's name was Ed) was visibly overwhelmed and understaffed for the amount of services he had to perform for the night. He had apologized countless times but mentioned I may need to leave my car overnight, however he would try his best to have it done before close. I told him not to worry and went about my night. My car was ready by 6 pm, and when I went to pick it up and pay I was surprised as the total was only $10 as Ed had used an old coupon he had. Ed then refused to accept any sort of tip or any compensation for the great job he did, so the least I could do was write this review.I'm not sure how other mechanics at this autoshop are, but Ed was extremely kind and efficient which was very impressive given the amount of stress he was under. 10/10 would recommend.

These Guy's are Always at the top of Their Game. Rob and Eddie are two of the Best Mechanics I know. That is why I only go to Monro Auto Service for ALL of My Car needs from Brakes to Oil Changes to Windshield Wipers yes they do Everything. I Highly recommend Monro Auto to Everyone I know. You can usually get in to be seen same day. Or schedule an Appointment and It doesn't cost anything to get an estimate. So Please Stop in For All Your Auto Care Needs. Rob and Ed will be more than Happy to Help You out.

Dude at the front desk was awesome help! We had a flat on our way to camp and he got us back on the road in a half hour ! Great man wish i remembered his name ! May have been Todd? Either way great customer service !!

Absolutely HORRIBLE service!!!! Had an appt for noon, got there at 11:30 am sat there until 12:15. They still hadn't brought my car in (I was the only customer there and they guys working there were talking and having a good old time in the garage). I asked them when they were going to get to my car and one guy said "we'll get to it". Finally at 1:00pm he pulls my car in for an alignment...takes it for a test drive, brings it back in garage again then at 2:45pm comes out and says its done. Got in my car and my key ignition, shifter and radio were covered in grease. They had changed my radio station! There was also big globs of grease on my hood and door. Why are these guys still employed here? Not to mention they are rude and smart mouths! This place has horrible reviews but yet nothing is being done about it. I wish I would have checked the other reviews before I wasted my time and money at this place.

I cannot believe in this day and age that a business actually looks after its customers , but that is what this Monroe does. The crew from the top down go above and truely beyond my expectation. I have never left this store feeling in any way disappointed. I highly recommend this shop. I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised. Ed your the best.

Maybe it was my fault bringing my Mercedes Benz to this repair center, though I had Ed work my car in the past. Simple fix turned out to be a nightmare. My car was running perfectly prior to going into the appointment. The technicans wrecked my engine. Car would not start after the damage was done. Simple camshaft sensor repair turned into a $5000 expense. I will never go back to this shop.

I have been taking my SUV to Monroe for a few years now. Ed and his crew are always professional and helpful. I always get the best service at Monroe and would not even want to take my vehicle to someone else. When I have taken my vehicle to another service station, in the past, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. For the sole reason of being a women and not knowing a whole lot about vehicles. At Monroe I don't feel that way and things are shown to me and explained and I'm not made to feel like an idiot. So do yourself a favor and do business with Monroe you will not be disappointed.

Final Experience: I've never seen an oil change take an entire hour until this place.First Experience: took a day to replace spark plug...no biggie...next day engine starts shaking again. Gave them benefit of the doubt until our neighbor told us about their experience after I plugged in my code reader into their car. Same fix and problem after the fix as I had. I've seen drunks fix vehicles better and more efficiently than these high school grads.

I called to have my oil changed and a tire rotation. I stated I had already purchased my own oil and filter, being that I'm particular with what products I use. They unprofessionally stated to me they had no interest in performing these tasks because I was supplying my own oil and filter. I would not recommend!
