So far so good. Needed to store items from a basement so new flooring can be installed. Even though storage unit is on 3rd floor, I had easy access via rolling cart and elevators. Clean and well-lit during daylight hours. Kent was available to explain the process and answer the questions I had.

Great experience in the office(great customer service). Very clean and secure location. One elevator is broken but hasn t been an issue yet. Highly recommend but call ahead if you want bigger units as they are hard to get.

So far the customer service experience in securing a storage unit was excellent! I don't remember her name but she went above and beyond for me. I've only just got the storage unit less than a week ago but so far everything has gone very smooth and I am pleased.****UPDATE****The lady that I previously stated went above and beyond for me, actually misinformed me with several things when signing up and retaining my unit. Whether she herself was misinformed or just plain lied I don't know.The day we moved all our stuff in and opened our unit door, it had slanted walls which took up at least half our space! We got the largest one, as I am sharing it with my mom, and we barely got all our stuff in it. We had about 5 guys helping us as there was some heavy items and about 5 car loads full with 2 trips. So unfortunately we had no choice but to fit it in the unit for the time being. When I called management, they said those units were not even supposed to be rented out! What?!? They gave us another unit within a week, however now we needed help again to move everything to the new unit! We asked for some money off next month's bill and we're told we were already getting a promotion price so they wouldn't compensate us for the mistake. WowAbout a month or less later, we went in to get some stuff out of our unit and the light outside of ours was not working and was so dark inside of the unit we had to have 2 people so that one person could hold a flashlight while the other person moved boxes around to get out what we needed. We made several calls regarding the light and kept being told that they contacted corporate about it and should be fixed soon. Recently my mom went alone to get her christmas stuff out and hurt herself from not being able to see properly. Now 2 1/2 months later and numerous calls later, it just got fixed less than a week ago. Not happy to say the least and just got my next bill which has doubled so apparently the promotion is over that we weren't even warned about nor given a time limit when I signed up for this place to begin with. No letter sent, no email, nothing.... just bam here is your doubled bill for next month! Probably finding another storage place!!

I've been renting a space at this location for about two years, and up until now, the payment process has been consistent. However, this month I received a call from the manager, Mary, who left a message stating that the payment was due. Naturally, I always make sure my payment is on time, so I called back to confirm. Surprisingly, I found my storage unit locked when I went to access it. When I contacted them, Mary mentioned she had called and left a message, but never indicated that the payment hadn't gone through.What's frustrating is that they have my email address and regularly use it for advertisements, yet they didn't notify me when the rent payment didn't go through. To make matters worse, they've now decided to charge a 20% late fee, despite my explanation of the consistent payment history. Their refusal to waive the late fee feels unfair, especially considering the long-standing relationship I've had as a customer. I made the payment with late fee on the phone using the same exact card on their system for automated payment. Apparently, the payment problem was due to their system.It's disappointing that they don't seem concerned about maintaining customer satisfaction, given that finding new customers doesn't appear to be a challenge for them. The additional $40 fee feels like a way to capitalize on the situation. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I've informed Mary that I'll be emptying the unit and seeking an alternative solution. A more transparent system to notify customers about payment issues is necessary, rather than relying solely on courtesy calls. This entire experience has been unprofessional and has seriously impacted my trust in this establishment.

Very run down, not kept up at all ...lights out in hallways missing bulbs, so it's a balest thing..outside is covered in mold and mildew just not up kept

Came to Camillus today and Justin was in the office. He answered all my questions, and he had a smile on his face the whole time that was contagious. Very clean facility. Very nice people working there. Thank you again Justin for being so helpful. I would recommend.

I had the best experience with Kent Ortiz. He gave me all the information I needed to make a smart decision and very graciously answered all my questions. The only complaint I have is about the ease in writing a review. I finally had to edit my old review in order to praise him.

Sandy has been the biggest help to me. I ve avoided two late fees due to her caring enough to reach out to me and leave several voicemails. She always greets me with the biggest smile and must work everyday because I ve never nor seen her smiling face there. I ve actually never even done a google review but o was so impressed with her it compelled me to do so. It s hard to come across great customer service and if you re lucky enough to come across life storage and sandy, you will not regret it. 10/10.

The manager, Kyle, took us on a tour of the facility, explained the procedures very well and actually showed us a few available storage areas so that we could decide which size would work for us. Kyle also told us about all of the products they had available for sale that would make things easier for us to store our stuff. He was very helpful.

I have been doing business with them since they opened. They are easy to work with and treat you and your belongings with respect. I highly recommend this organization in our Camillus area. Thank you Mary and team you're the best!!

Place has been great with helping move. Storage has a surprising amount of space and trucks are really helpful with their low decks. Sandy was awesome and a lot of fun, then Terri joined in and made it better.

She stayed after closing time for us to sign up for our storage unit. She was very kind and helpful, and the facility was clean and easy to access. Lowest prices i could find for the size of space we needed too. Would recommend!

Units and Building are Clean, Secure and lots of Security...Feel very safe in them by myself. Terri Kain always helpful and very knowledgeable....If I ever needed storage again, it would be here. Keep up the Happy!!

I can not say enough about the service, help & kindness when ever had issues & Terri Kain was there to assist with all the answers. I was 18 mths @ life storage and highly recommend this place. Clean, friendly & ur desk help is wonderful.

Great prices.close to home.great customer service.and had plenty of options to fit exactly what we were looking for. The manager Kyle was very helpful answered all our questions and I would definitely recommend life storage to anyone looking for a place to store their things.walked away w the feeling that my things will be safe and even purchased insurance for a small $10fee! Overall we are completely satisfied in choosing life storage

Terri, the manager there, was extremely helpful and courteous. She made renting a storage space there very quick and easy. The rates are reasonable too. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a storage place in the area.
