My CV axel had broken in half so I had to get a new CV axel assembly installed. They got my car in and complete within the same day. Very fair pricing, great customer service, and quality work. It s the timeliness and service that goes a long way for me and most people. I will go here in the future for any car troubles and would recommend to friends and family.

The best mechanic i've been to in all of Buffalo.Just honestly 2 awesome guys who know what they're doing, and prices are fair.They use quality parts. and lets say something goes wrong or comes back to you feeling a little funny? bring it back and theyll fix it for you right away.Thanks for everything....

This place fixed what another tech had damaged in my car and for an extremely fair price. Also gave honest advice about other issues with my car. Will only be taking my car here from now on!

Best mechanic around!!!! 5 stars. We don't even live in buffalo anymore and still take the drive to bring Pete our cars. Hands down amazing guy with a great business.

My son was in college in Buffalo when the engine of his 2011 Chevrolet Malibu blew out. He put the car in storage and returned to NYC. We decided to replace the engine and contacted Hammond Auto Repair to engage their business. We couldn't be more impressed with the excellent customer service and workmanship. Everything was transacted electronically (phone, email and electronic funds transfer). They took care of everything from retrieving the vehicle to making the repairs. We never met in person. When the work was done, my son went up to Buffalo, got the car and drove it back to NYC. We are very pleased with how the car is running. The cost for the replacement engine and other work was very reasonable. We highly recommend Hammond Auto repair shop! Thank you, Guys, for an excellent experience!Update: April 14, 2023That car is still running well! No issues with the engine at all!

Pete is ALWAYS there for me when I need anything, big or small. He's very reasonable with prices and has never, ever upsold me or told me something needed to be replaced unless it absolutely needed to be replaced. He puts the power in my hands and I have always trusted him to be upfront with me. I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years and tell everyone I know about his shop. These guys are great. I've come in twice. Once for a brake line repair and the other for a muffler related did, and they are, again, great. Very courteous, very professional. Fair pricing (in neither visit did I at any point feel I was ripped off).I highly recommend them.

I found this shop from the reviews, and I can say they're accurate. I took in my rusty almost 20 year old car and he's carefully fixed everything it's needed, including some welding. This is an excellent mechanic. He's very knowledgable and takes the time to listen to your concerns. I did not think my day could get worse, when the guys at Hammond blessed me with their kindness and generosity! These fine gentlemen stayed THREE hours after closing just to make sure a complete stranger (me) could get home safely. Not to mention the work was fantastic and fairly priced! I feel nothing but gratitude. While the steps leading up to my car needing repair were extremely unpleasant, I am so glad the path led me to discover the Hammond Auto Shop!

I have been a customer of Pete for a few years now and I refuse to go to anyone else. His prices are always fair and the quality is always present. You don't have to question a repair when getting it done here. Pete is a good guy and I would fully recommend him to anyone.

"An honest mechanic who can find?" Well here you have one. They'll let you know what the problem is and give you several options as far as pricing and discuss the pros and cons candidly. Understands that you need your vehicle done in a timely fashion.

The customer service was impeccable and Hammond's got our brakes fixed very quickly. These guys really went the extra mile to make sure our truck would make our return trip to Ohioa safe one.

Hammond auto is easily the best machanic in Buffalo. I've brought my 2010 chevy cobalt there multiple times and they always do a killer job. I couldn't be more happy with the customer service and price. If you have car problems think twice about where you are going to bring it if it is not Hommond's!
