Roland and his team have been servicing my 2006 Saab for many years. I come from a family of Saab car owners. We have all been happy and satisfied with taking our vehicles to Swedish Saab for any repair needed. You receive quality care and excellent communication about what s needed for your vehicle before he does the repair and price is always reasonable. He s been servicing our cars since he was on Classon Avenue until he moved to this location on Glenmore Avenue. Highly recommend Swedish Saab service to anyone who owns a Saab vehicle.Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

Roland is a the best mechanic I have ever worked with. He knows everything about Saabs. Yes, even more than strangers on the forums!Don't waste your time and money guessing what's wrong or taking your Saab to any other shop. Roland is honest, efficient, and never tries to sell you any work that you don't need/want. Roland wants to keep Saab owners happy for years to come, and it shows.Thanks for the great work, Roland!

Roland is a outstanding mechanic. I bought a used 2007 Saab that was pretty much a lemon. This guy worked magic car runs so smooth. As long as I owe my Saab no other mechanic will ever put his hands on it. So glad I met this guy. Kind honest and good hearted. I highly suggest this place for any issues you might have with you Saab.

When I still owned my SAAB 9000, Roland was the mechanic for my Swedish Beast. I really like Roland on many levels. First and foremost, his professionalism and knowledge are master class. He will diagnose and find the problem and he will get it resolved, without doubt. If he told me the car will be ready in 2 days at this time, I would show up 2 days later to see it ready for me without question. He's knowledgeable, he's smart but what I also want to mention that he's genuinely a nice guy. Whenever the shop wasn't too busy, I could ask him a million questions and without fail, he'd have an answer. The man is a SAAB encyclopedia. Thanks to him, I'm considering getting another SAAB because all SAAB owners know your car is only as good as your mechanic. Thanks roland for all your work with honesty and dedication

Yes, the moniker Saab whisperer really does justice to Roland! Kind and incredibly knowledgeable, he generously took the time to talk us through an issue we are having and have an appointment in a few weeks. Definitely worth the wait to have him work on our Saab.

Roland is a magician. Truly the onlyPerson I ll trust to touch my Saab. He s just such a nice guy, super straightforward and knowledgeable, and probably the only mechanic putting a push button ignition in a car from 1994. Seriously don t take your Saab anywhere else this is the man to look at it.

I would recommend Roland without hesitation. He's a Saab whiz, very knowledgable and down to earth. He will diagnose your problem, and depending on what it is, will present you with options for repair. He works in a timely manner, is professional and personable.

I've taken my 2002 Saab to Roland at Swedish Underground a few times now, and will not go anywhere else! He is fair, fast, and does top-notch work. Never before had I gone to a mechanic and felt that I wasn't getting swindled. Now, I want to give him my money!

My experience with this auto repair shop was excellent! Roland, who runs the shop is a one man crew! He was out on vacation when I first contacted the shop but his assistants were eager to help me trouble-shoot my problem and provided me with some helpful do it yourself information to cut cost. Nonetheless, no work could be done until Roland returned from vacation.To make a long story short, I was told by others that my problem was probably a core ignition kit that needed to be replaced, or fuel pump. Both are quite costly to replace and I wasn't trying to spend that type of money on parts and labor on my faithful 2000 Saab.Well, I made an appointment with Roland and met him at the agreed upon date/time. He popped the hood and in less than 5 minutes, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in 2 minutes flat by tightening a few screws! He didn't try and rob. me, or keep my car over the weekend to jack up the price . Instead, he was honest, and treated me with respect. Surprisingly, he didn't even want any money for fixing my vehicle, which was something I never experienced at a auto repair shop.I just moved to Brooklyn and I am so happy that I have finally found a mechanic that I can trust and take my vehicle to and not worry about getting beat or taken advantage of. Best kept secret in Brooklyn !Stan the Man !

Just the best place to get work done on a Saab. Fast diagnosis and fixes, friendly employees, and Roland is a wizard on these cars. I can't take my car anywhere what knowing how good he is.

Roland is amazingly honest and I hate to use the word cheap, but you won't find anyone to do his quality work for less. Rest assured this is no shade tree mechanic here. This man is a technician who does outstanding work. He recently programmed an ecu for me and when I asked him to program a new key, he refused to charge me for that service that he gladly performed. Highly recommended. Audi fans, he says that he's gonna start servicing your vehicles soon. Even maybe dabble in a little VW. Start rejoicing. No more being raped by dealers or unscrupulous mechanics for you anymore. Best of luck to Roland in all his endeavors.

I purchased a 2007 Sabb 9-3 from a used car dealer in Brooklyn. Of course I wanted to get the car checked out and it's hard to find shops that will service a Sabb since they tend to be special in their needs. The five star rating is based on my first and only appointment at Swedish Underground Auto. One mechanic I called told me to check out Swedish Underground. Roland the owner of Swedish Underground Auto is a one man show/ small business. He really does know Sabb's since this is the only cars he services. He composed a list of things that were a MUST be repaired for the dealer since the car was on a limited warranty, and a list of minor things that should be done. His price was fair for the inspection, the visit went well, and he explained things to me. After fighting with the Dealer who sold me the car, the must completed work was done. So I tried calling back Roland to schedule a follow up appointment to inspect the repairs and also for him to complete the other minor issue work he pointed out. I called twice nobody picked up, then I left a message and emailed the shop asking them to call me back to set up an appointment. Never heard back from anyone, then I tried again calling a few days later, still no answer. So I was left with no choice but to find another mechanic who knew something about Sabb to check and finish the work since I was heading out of town on a road trip with the car. As a small business owner myself I know the importance of calling people back otherwise you will lose them, and its just poor manners not to return calls. So If you want to try out Swedish Underground Auto make sure to make your appointment way in advance and set up your next before you leave the shop otherwise you may get stuck.

Dont waste your time. This man may be good but I wouldn't know. Left him four messages to please call me back. Last message was I really needed a call back. Doesnt have the decency or the business sense to at least call and say he's not interested or that he' too busy. Just leaves you hanging. Instead of wasting time Go to Sweet Motors in Mount Arlington New Jersey he is awesome.
