I ve been to many shops over the years but here I had a great experience, super customer friendly. They even allowed me to step into the work area to see where and what the issue with my car and eversince repaired it s been driving perfectly again. Thank you

I was on my way to a meeting in Manhattan and noticed my inspection was expired, I ran into the shop and was immediately taken care of, the service here is above average.

Very disappointed. I was in the area, noticed NYS inspection and decided to stop by. My car is almost new but I was told that I had to change all my breaks and pay $800 or they will fail my inspection. I paid for the lift and went to my long time, honest mechanic, and he said, my breaks are fine and got my 2014 sticker. Be aware!

I went in a couple weeks ago to get my horns replaced. They were dying and you know how horns are essential in NYC driving.. I would've done this job myself given I had the proper power tools. First, the price is fair. Although it was the same price as both of my horns combined. Second, install was quick and the mechanic knew what he was doing. Very good. Lastly, the reason for my four star review is because the mechanic did not reinstall my front bumper correctly. Some panels were out of place and it looked like they didn't care since the job was done and they received their payment. I ended up fixing the front bumper myself..

Brought my car in a couple of times for various repairs and oil changes. The steering wheel in the car kept making this strange grinding noise every time I turned it. Turns out the wheel bearing was bad. They fixed it and now it turns so smoothly and quietly! After a major transmission job in GA, the check engine light in my car came on and stayed on. They changed a sensor and the light is off for good. Highly recommend these guys their prices are fair and they get the job done. They are definitely my go to shop every time I come to NY. Check them out!

Needed a reasonably expensive exhaust system replaced. Very satisfied with the price, quality of communication, and overall treatment of my business. Nobie's isn't my "local mechanic," but I'd have no problems returning for service.

I had a great experience at Nobie's. I'm from out of town, but was buying a car in Brooklyn. Nobie's looked at the car for me before I bought it and gave me an honest opinion of the issues it had. I ended up having the work done at Nobie's, and they not only worked on their off day to get things done, but they drove an hour away to get a part for me.They were honest, reliable, and a pleasure to work with.

I read some of the reviews below and I for one have been a customer at Nobie's Auto Repair for many years and I never had a problem with their services. They are professional and come across as trustworthy. Great guys, quick knowledgeable service. I would definitely recommend this shop.

BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I went there for a car inspection because my mechanic that I usually go didn t have car inspection sticker that day,and I make a big mistake going here. Even if your car is in good condition and everything work he will find something that is not working and fail you on purpose if you don t want to fail and pay 37 you have to listen what to fix. He told me my rotor is rusty and the brake pad have to replace a new one I didn t know much about car so I paid him to do the job. And didn t get a receipt for it. Then the next day I took my rotor to my mechanic and my mechanic told me rust is normal because of the rain and snow and is made out of steel so it will rust. And they told me I can just clean out the rust and reuse it. Also the brake pad still have lots of pad left. Then I know I got screw. WILL NEVER GO THERE EVER AGAIN!!!Ps: most of the 5 stars review is his friends and family.

Nobies is one of the far and few between honest mechanics. And i dont intimidate him. He and his crew are really too of the line. Get you car fixed tge right way and at the most reasonable prices you sill ever find

Inspected my car at another shop that found no problems. But the wait time there was too long for basic maintenance line items. Brought the vehicle here in less than a 24 hour period and all of a sudden the mechanics discovered that I had to change the transmission and some kind of oxygen sensor. Wth?!Then I brought my car to another local shop who inspected the car AGAIN to see if these repairs really needed to be done. And of course, they found no problems.I HIGHLY do not recommend this place. They will find some way to convince you that you need to do unnecessary repairs or even worse, they will create the problem, fix it and then charge you for the problems they create.Bottomline: Look elsewhere. These shops are a dime a dozen and you'll eventually find a place that is honest if you take the time to look. These guys are literally crooks.

Great service, I was in a rush with a car full of produce as a favor for family member when I realized there is a screw in my tire , Special Thanks to our mayor for cutting the street cleaning in our City.They got me in and out in 10 Minutes!!!!

I had an unexpected issue with my car on a Sunday. The mechanic took the car in right away - it was a simple fix and he dealt with it immediately, at a very reasonable price. I will be back here for sure!

The place is very small to be a MECHANIC Shop, so when you go there be prepared to pay there Rent & Expenses (dealers are much cheaper)
