I went into the shop the other day with a problem with my car. I didn't have an appt. I left the car there and they called the same day with an estimate. My tires were super old and needed to be replaced. One of them had bulged out causing the noticeable issue in the ride. They finished the job the same day and I picked it up that evening. They had great communication the entire time. They were honest and clear about the price and the work. They did a great job. Mario even texted me a minute ago to make sure that there were no issues and I was happy with the work. These guys are going to be my mechanics from now on.Update: I need a brake job. They won't respond to my texts and no one picks up the phone. I also needed work on the door of my car and they never responded to me. Too bad. I have to go to another mechanic. Not sure what's going on over there.

Trustworthy, straightforward and welcoming, this local shop is my go-to for all repair work in Brooklyn. Mario and the crew and great, hardworking, honest people. Can t speak more highly of them

Personal opinion - integrity lives here and I ll tell you why below.I Bought a used car w/ 13K miles and the dealer did an inspection (1/21/24). Decided to take the car to Mario two days after and he didn t put it up, cool. He did a visual, confirmed the mileage, noted the fresh inspection sticker and said no need - the car is brand new.Instead of charging me unnecessarily he advised me to come back when the maintenance light comes on (ex oil change) and we can do the next inspection then. Mentioned to avoid the potholes and sent me on my way!I look forward to coming back for an oil change and ALL maintenance needs to keep my car running. Thank you, Mario!

Awesome experience! Very responsive when I called, talked to Abby who helped me out scheduling. And Mario who checked my car and updated me the broken parts of my car! Very reliable and reasonable price!

Went to get an inspection - they were quick, transparent, and good. They told me that I should change my rear break pads on my next oil change, without trying to get me to do it with them. Had gone to another shop earlier and after a one day wait, they told me I had all sorts of issues, which wasn't the case at Mario's. Glad I went to this workshop. Recommend!

As a woman I always worry that auto shops are going to scam me or charge me higher. I highly recommend Mario's! Fixed the two issues with my Prius very quickly! Labor and parts very reasonable! Will definitely come back to Mario's if I ever have anything to repair. Thank you!!!

Mario s has been my go to car repair shop for over five years. I find them to be honest, reliable, and fairly priced. They ve helped me out quite a number of times and I m so glad they re in my neighborhood!

I've been having my car serviced at Mario's for 1.5yrs now and only have positive things to say about them. They are extremely knowledgeable about what they do, communicative, timely, and honest. I have gotten my annual inspection, oil change, new tires, tires rotated, and a handful of other things with them. I love having a mechanic I can trust and highly recommend Mario's.

Mario s is the best! A rare mechanic who has reasonable prices, a friendly staff, and does honest work! He fixed my AC compressor and brakes and also took care of regular maintenance super quickly. I recently became a car owner and needed a reliable mechanic. I am SO happy to find Mario s! Professional and courteous from start to finish. Excellent communication and customer service. I was kept in the loop and told prices before the work was done. An added treat was a follow up message to make sure I was happy and the car was running smoothly. Wow!!! FTR I have a Smart Car and not all mechanics know these cars. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Mario!

I took my car here for inspection. They gave me an accurate estimation of the time it would take. They were fast, professional, and they didn't try to tell me that fog light had to be fixed (last 2 places i tried did this). Mario is probably the most honest mechanic in Brooklyn. I've gone to him several times and will keep going back. His prices can't be beat, the service is incredible/very high quality, and he's even recommended cheaper DIY alternatives vs. charging me for labor when repairs are minor and easy to do without a lot of tools/expertise. Extremely satisfied with my experience. Dropped off my car as soon as I realized there was a problem. Shortly after I left, Gary notified me that it was the rack and pinion. The price was great. Timing was fast. Communication was awesome. Grateful to Mario s team. I ll definitely recommend them to friends!

I have such a hard time finding trustworthy auto service places and this is the best I ve found by far! My catalytic converter was stolen and Mario and his daughter knew exactly what was going on right away and were able to talk me through the process. They were amazing every step of the way, even in dealing with the insurance company, and so helpful in communicating throughout. Could not recommend more and I will definitely be returning anytime I need help with my car!

My parked car was hit when I was visiting from out of town, and I had it towed to Mario's for repair. Mario was extremely helpful, professional, and communicative throughout the repair process, and his team did a great job replacing the rear bumper and tail light. I have been here several times after looking for a place to get my car serviced. The first time the work was quick and well done. Then I had two more breakdowns and the second time a piece of my car was damaged (tiny tine damage). Mario and his team fixed the damaged and the issues and charged me less* than what I thought I was going to have to pay. I had a rear side window that needed replacing. Mario and his team were super quick to get my vehicle into the shop and completed the repair quickly. The price was what I would expect for the the job. He even sent a follow up text to make sure everything was going well a few days later. The staff is very helpful and everyone was pleasant and kind. They offered a great price for what our car needed (all 4 tires replaced) and it was done about 4 hours earlier than expected. We will continue to go to Mario s for all of our car needs!

friendly, good for tune ups, minus is no parking on-site (had to park car across after in a non-affiliated "no parking, tow away" lot that made me anxious)

Fantastic! Mario and Gabby (and I'm sure the rest of the staff) are just great. Thanks so much for getting me patched up and back on the road. Fast turn around and reasonable pricing paired with nice folks doing good work makes this the best experience at a muffler shop (or any auto mechanic shop) I've had. Thank you again. I brought my car to Mario's for the annual NYS inspection and because I was hearing a noise that I wanted them to look at. They said the noise was from the power steering pump and that it needed to be replaced. I had them replace it and just a month later I started hearing the same noise again. I brought it back to Mario as the part/work was still under warranty. Without writing a whole angry essay here, I will just summarize and say that I had to make several trips to and from the shop, dropping my car off and picking it up with nothing resolved. I left my car with them for 5 days, had multiple conversations and was told it would be fixed each time, and it is still not resolved.

They re okay, but after they finished work, they parked my car on Atlantic in front of a construction site, didn t look like they folded in the side mirror and a truck or something took the mirror off. After paying my bill I walked over to pick up my car and noticed it.Didn t take responsibility or offer any compensation, told me they d call me about a quote for the mirror replacement but never did so I won t be going back

We really appreciated how friendly, helpful, and honest Mario and his team are. We brought in our Subaru for an oil change, and not only did they do a great job with the service (plus fair prices!) but Mario also found a few things that needed fixing on the car. Where some mechanics might pressure you or upsell services, he kindly recommended that we go to a dealership as the repairs would be covered by our warranty. And, he even texted a few days later to follow up and make sure everything was perfect with our ooo change. What a gem! Excited to make this our regular shop from now on!

Several years ago, a trusted friend recommended Mario to me and I have frequented his shop ever since. Trust is essential for those of us who know nothing beyond turning the ignition key and this is an honest shop.Fast, reliable, and fairly priced too.

Went to get my new car inspected straight from the DMV! Mario was joy, and I m glad to have him so close! Def gonna go back if I ever need anything done.
