I cannot have higher praise for a business than i have for auto boss. Short version, we had electrical issues with my car. The dealer looked into it and said it would be $20,000 to fix.I brought the car to Phil at auto boss, after another previous positive interaction with him and the company. They did the same job for $5,000. That's a $15,000 savings!! The work was perfect, another dealership inspected it afterwards, the pricing was fair, the service was super fast.These are simply good people, who charge a fair price and are VERY good at what they do.

If I were rating Auto Boss solely on the quality of the work of its technicians, I would give it one star. I am adding one more star because Elliot Koegel, one of its owners and managers, was always courteous to me, even when he was mistaken. I am adding a second extra star because of Tamar, the intake clerk, vivacious and gracious and never wrong (except politically, but then no one is perfect).In mid-June of 2020 rainwater flooded the interior of my car, entering through a defective sunroof. I brought my car to Auto Boss for them to repair the problem. On June 24, 2020, I picked up my car and paid Auto Boss $1,415.00 inclusive of tax: $1,000.00 for labor and $300.00 for parts. Their repair turned out to be ineffective: on August 4, 2020, rainwater again flooded my car. I then brought my car to another repair shop, Brooklyn Auto Tops Etc [sic]. The owner and manager of this business, Christopher Dean Ortiz, repaired the sunroof's track assembly and permanently fixed the problem.On August 13, 2020, I was driving my car and the brakes failed and I almost hit the car in front of me, which had stopped for a red light; had I not swerved into the adjacent and unoccupied left-hand turn lane there would have been a collision. I managed to drive my car to the nearby Auto Boss shop and waited in their office while their mechanics worked on the problem. When I drove away I noticed that the brakes were still not working properly and that the check engine light was on. Then I did what I should have done in the first place: I drove directly to Dean's garage. Dean then fixed both of these problems immediately and effectively. Before doing so, he opened the hood and explained to me the two ways that the Auto Boss technicians had put my life in danger.One danger was posed by their inept attempt to install a replacement master cylinder and brake fluid level sensor. They broke the wires that connected these two pieces; these loose wires were shorting on the metal of the car and causing the check engine light to come on. The danger here was that the broken sensor, disconnected from the master cylinder, would not alert me if my brake fluid level were becoming dangerously low. The other danger was posed by the incompetence of these technicians when bleeding the brakes; as a result, inadequate fluid pressure was being applied to the brakes even though I was pushing hard on the brake pedal. Dean effectively fixed this problem: thereafter, braking became smooth and almost effortless.Before Dean made these repairs, he and I took photos of my car's engine section. I then sent an email to Elliot that included these photos. Elliot responded by maintaining that all this defective work (including their ineffective sunroof repair) had been performed by just one of his technicians. He added that he was contemplating firing this technician but needed to consult first with his business partner, Phil. What?!? Your technician almost gets me killed and you need a consultation? Worse yet, Elliot maintained that the sensor's being broken and disconnected from the master cylinder was not necessarily the result of an incompetent installation but could have been the consequence of a manufacturing defect or of a shipping mishap. But if that were indeed the reason for the sensor's disconnection and breakage, then even a minimally competent technician would have shipped the severed and broken parts back to the seller instead of trying and failing to install them. There truly was a profound disconnect here, the one between Elliot and logical thinking.

Great experience. I brought my car in for a blinker and headlight that weren t working on a brand new leased car. Turns out the wires were disconnected so they connected them and chargedme a minimal fee. So honest!

Hello. I hope whoever is reading this is having a fantastic day, and hopefully reading my review of Auto Boss Inc. will help you make the right decision about taking your vehicle to this absolutely awesome, professional, and out-of-this-world repair shop. I mean, words cannot even describe how astronomically talented all the great people who work there truly are.I own a 2010 Dodge Challenger RT, which in October 2022. Was unfortunately visited by some uninvited rodents. I ll skip past all the unnecessary details and just get to the important parts. After several months, two mechanics, and a dealership visit all costing a combined $2000 just to get the vehicle back on the road again, I was stuck with a check engine light that said I had multiple errors with my engine, and I felt like no matter who I brought the car to, my vehicle was never going to get fixed. Things got so bad that I was told my car, which had barely 5,400 miles on it, was absolutely worthless and I would be better off taking it to a salvage yard and just selling it for parts. I would be lucky to get $400 for it. After several back-and-forths with my original mechanic, who did everything they could to help fix my car, finally the boss of the shop that I have been doing business with for eight years told me he didn t want to take anymore of my money because it just felt wrong and that there was only one person left and one resource that he had yet to try in a final Hail Mary of sorts, he told me if there s one mechanic shop that can fix what s wrong with your car, it s the people at a place called Auto Boss Inc., and if they can t help you, nobody can. Running low on hope and optimism, I was given the contact information for Auto Boss, and within the first few minutes of speaking to the lovely young woman who works the front desk, I could feel the confidence in that first conversation over the phone that things were about to turn around for the positive. The young woman knew what my car needed immediately and quickly gave me an appointment hassle-free, but I must admit reading some of the reviews. I saw online before my first initial phone call. I had some concerns, so I asked the woman I have been speaking with if perhaps I could speak to someone there to voice my concerns. That s when I was introduced to Mr. Elliot, and he stayed on the phone with me and answered all my questions and listened to me with no problem. After I had spoken with that gentleman, my confidence returned that perhaps there was a light at the end of the tunnel and I was finally going to be out of his nightmare situation. Within hours of bringing my vehicle in for that first initial diagnostic, Mr. Elliot called me and knew what my car needed, and he was right. I can truly say with absolute confidence that this man is the Stephen Hawking of automobiles. He and his team of top-notch mechanics & man does he run a tight ship. He s not like some of these bosses, who just sit in an office and have a hands-off approach. No, that's not Mr. Elliot; he's involved; he s right in there, working with the mechanic side-by-side, constantly calling me every day and giving me up-to-date information, and it felt good working with real professionals, and that s what Auto Boss is.It turns out my vehicle just needed a new computer; many so-called professionals told me it was a wiring harness replacement that was the source of my troubles all of them were wrong. With his team and his advanced equipment Elliott was able to get me a new computer, and they immediately kept me up-to-date with invoices on the spot, fully transparent, with no hidden fees or charges. I was in the know everyday about what was happening with my car, and to my surprise, the final asking price was actually a few hundred dollars less than what I was originally quoted, which obviously put a huge smile on my face. Brought my car here for some issues. They didn't touch it for 2 weeks then they fixed it without giving me estimate like I asked. they called me to say it was ready and I owed 2500. They said it costs 1,500 to diagnose my 2013 Infiniti. When I expressed my outrage, they threatened to put lien on my car if I didn't pay today. I called Infiniti to get estimate how much this job would cost me and they said 800 at the dealer. When I walked in there, the owner that was doing all the threats on phone, wouldn't come out to speak to me. He had the nice receptionist handle it. Very rude and out of pocket. They should've called and explained before at least I can't say why after the repair.Reply, all due respect, your response is B.S.

My wife and I have been customers for decades. These folks operate with great integrity and do quality work. In addition, their labor charges are very reasonable. I highly recommend Auto Boss for auto repairs.

Like others here, I was recommended by my mechanic. I've been back 2x since. They diagnosed problem, and re-programmed computers/ keys at a fraction what it would cost at a dealer.Also, fixed A/C prob that was misdiagnosed at other 2 shops[ they wanted to change compressor] Thank Goodness I went to AutoBoss. These guys Do Know Their Stuff!! I would have still been throwing $ and changing unnecessary parts with the other guys, the and still no A/C. Phil, Elliott, Tamara (rest of staff). Truly the best!! Oh yeah, someone said they are pricey: You get what you pay for. Very Happy & Recommended.

Vehicles today are like big computers. Body shop wasn't able to program the car. I brought it to Auto Boss and they took care of the issue in a couple hours. Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend.

Bring my F150 there. They take a look told me it's bed engine and engine is NO GOOD.....payed them 600$ for Nothing.Move my track to other shop and they change gas pump and track starts and run perfectGuys don't go to this Auto Boss don't waist your money

They might take what feels like forever to fix your car, but like your mother always said: good things are worth waiting for. Autoboss had done some quality work for me and the wife. When it's fixed it's fixed and they tell you how it is. In a world of angst and lies they seem to be one of the few places who isn't looking to scam you. Autoboss is my mechanic.

I had a 2019 Mercedes my windows and radio stopped workingI went to the dealer they had my car for a while and gave me the run around , So i got referred to Auto Boss ,went there they were really nice very professional they called me back in 2 days told me they found some wires under the hood that were eaten up by some animal they gave me a very fair price fixed it in a very reasonable timeThese guys are the best will always come here in the futureI saw some guy Joseph Afan and a musa and some others who had issues with Auto Boss , I dont think they understand the technology that cars have these days ,I guess some people are not realistic when it comes to common sense .Service: Electrical repair

Have to say I took my car to so many shops and no one knew how to fix the problem so went to auto boss and have to say Phil knows his stuff had my car for a week and dammm he fixed the problem he is the man the best fixing the car everyone should go to him get with the price I am a new customer now and the staff is great and the front desk lady is so nice and polite and helpful

When your high end car or any car has electrical issues just bring It to auto boss, having a regular mechanic tinker with it only makes it worse and costs double. I learned the hard way.
