I stopped in at Trux Outfitters because my older style Western Plow stopped working. The Crew was % Above and Behond with knowledge & assistance with helping me. Obviously my Plow was frozen from water finding its way into the hydronic oil. Those guys deserve 2 thumbs

If U Want Something Done Right, This Is Not The Place. Took my truck here to get my plow installed ended up with a rats nest of wires. Before the end of the plow season head light don t wanna work. Took it back they was only able to get the lights to work on low beam. Took it back last week and they telling me they can t work on it cause it s too much of a headache. I told them that s yah work how can yah not figure it out. Now I m still with no high beam and no brake lights. Thanks trux outfitters

I was very hesitant to have anyone put plow mounts on my 22 3500 Denali as I don t have faith in quality of work of many service providers in any field anywhere the last couple years. Trux outfitters took the time togo over what they would be cutting and the placement of my fisher minute mounts. I have bought plows from thru way spring in Rochester and Robbie green in Monticello and trux outfitters worksmanship was of superior quality compared to others (the two others were still good but TO was exceptional) the wait for an appt was longer than I d like and that s why I have used other places the last couple years but this year I planned better but it was worth the wait, thank you .

Went to Lowe's for an Ariens snow blower. Could not get anyone to help me or the other person who had been waiting for 20 minutes for help. We both left and I went to Trux, had two knowlegeable and friendly people help me. They also service the product unlike Lowe's. Trux happily got my $1600+ purchase. Don't waste your time at the box.

Bought a 10,000 dollar mower I initiated every conversation, was told salesmen would call me back which he never did. Mower came in and I was never notified I had to call to find out they closed early that day so I had to rush down to pick up my mower, only to walk in to an empty store, (every time I called they said they were busy with customers) every time I went there nobody was ever there. If I didn't want that particular mower as bad as I did I would have gone some place else. Guess will see how there service after the sale turns out.

I am very pleased with my bed cover for my truck and the service I received for installing it. Staff was friendly and they did a great job installing the cover.

I was looking for a wiring harness to get my truck equipped for towing a fifth wheel camper. The guy I spoke to seemed to want to sell way more than I needed. I'd done the research and knew what was needed. There's lots of people that are more than happy to spend as much as the truck is worth, but not me. I ordered the part I need from Amazon and it works exactly how I want.

Needed a plow harness for a older blizzard for a 2014 ram install and had the parts in-stock. Very helpful staff that was knowledgeable. Would use again for parts.

Had a brand new plow installed on my truck at Trux Outfitter. Picked up and paid in full at the end of the day. On the way home the low beams went out on the brand new plow. I called first thing the next morning and was told they were to busy and could not look at it for a week and a half, completely unacceptable!After some research I called Boondocker equipment in Syracuse and was told they were booked a month out but to bring it up and they would check all wiring and see what they could do for me. They had it fixed in less than 45 minutes.Trux has lost a repeat customer who has spent over thousands there over the last few years due to horrible customer service. I'll never use their service again.
