John has worked with our family for years and will show you your problem if you would like to know; They will let you know if there is actually something wrong a very trusting place with great people who fix your cars for a good price! I had a issue with one of my old cars where the oil cap kept popping off and it was found that gm vehicles are finicky on aftermarket parts. John backs up his work! Best Auto Shop I ve been to! Honest and reliable. I ve been to so many shops that overcharge or push work on you that isn t needed. It s refreshing dealing with folks who are here to help. I ve never heard of being undercharged, but they ve beat any other quotes I ve had and the service is top notch!

I called Southside Auto last week after my usual shop said they couldn t get me in for 5 days to plug the slow leak in my tire. Jon was helpful, got me in right away, and gave me advice about a repair job that he thought might need to be done before winter. I appreciated his honesty but also that he didn t try to act like it was urgent just to scare me into giving him business. I will be coming back to get other work done as hope I m just as happy in the future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I brought my car down for some maintenance work. They assured I was getting the best value in price and quality. & They had it done within an hour! One small mishap due to miscommunication on my part, but they made it right! Highly likely to be a return customer.

I don't normally write reviews but I after such a positive experience I feel I have to. I had a car emergency where I had to get my car towed and worked on and I really didn't know any mechanics in the area so I randomly tried out southside auto. Not only did the mechanics fix my car in a timely manner but they even let me pick my car up on Friday night, while they were closed, and pay on Monday. That way I wouldn't be without my car for the weekend.As I said before I had never been to this shop prior and they were willing to take a risk in order to make my life a little easier. If you ever have an emergency and need to take your car somewhere and you don't know where, give these guys a call and they will surely take care of you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I found out I needed new front routers, brake pads and 2 new tires right before vacation. The dealer wanted almost $800 dollars for all of the job! Jon not only gave me a price almost half of that but had job done so quickly that I could get on with my vacation!!! So nice to see hard working honest young men in the business world!!! I would definitely go to Southside Auto Repair all the time now!!! Thx again guys!!!

I stopped in at Southside Auto Repair to have an issue with my vehicle fixed. Jon stopped everything he was doing to help me since I was leaving Binghamton for Philadelphia. He was amazing and showed great care for what he was doing. The problem was solved inside of 10 minutes. I highly recommend Jon and his team to care for you and your vehicle. Thanks Jon for taking care of me and my Jeep.

When I moved to Binghamton in 2016 I needed some repair work done. I found Southside Auto Repair on the Internet from a Google Search. When I went there I was treated with courtesy and respect. The work was done at the agreed price and on time.Since then I have used John's services for everything related to my old and now new vehicle. They are honest, hardworking people and I am grateful to have found them.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone in Binghamton or visiting who wants to work with experts who are honest and forthright in their determination of auto repair issues.

They did work to my vehicle and charged me over 900.. the next day my car had the very same issues that i paid nearly a thousand on.. took it to the Chevy dealership and they fixed the same issue that i paid Southside auto 900 plus dollers they fixed it for free cause it was under warranty smh. Very disappointed in that shop.

Took the car for a no start diagnosis. All he did was check one spark plug and nothing else. Did not continue testing. Didnt test the coil or ingitor. Charged me 80

The ONLY place I will take my vehicle. I'm not knowledgeable of cars- they don't overcharge me that's for sure. And the extended warranty he offers for free is GREAT
