They took care of my performance diesel truck above and beyond. Added a lift pump, bottom sump, and a/c compressor. All work was done perfect and without flaws, price was fair and work was quick. Had a leveling kit and new tires put on my F350 I also had a burning smell from the brakes and assumed I needed pads, calipers, rotors. They did a full brake cleaning service and saved me almost $1k!Truck looks and performs great. 10/10 recommend.

I have gone back & forth in regards to writing a review as I really love this garage - but I feel like I have to as I m still really upset and confused. I brought my car in for a diagnostic test and was told my clutches were bad and it basically would need a new transmission which would be 3k. Figured I wouldn t go through with that as my car was not even worth that. During the initial phone call where I found out what the results of the diagnostic test was, I do remember him saying something about putting a part in my car. Genuinely I believed that I heard him wrong because I hadn t even found out what was wrong with my car yet, so why would anyone be putting a part in my car without me giving the green light first. I was going to go through with trading in my car and buying a used car through them - but after reading more into the car that I was going to purchase, I started to get cold feet (backing out of the deal had absolutely nothing to do with Rowland and was just me feeling like I d prefer to buy new and not used). Anyways, when I went to go pick up my car, I thought I d just be paying for the diagnostic fee. Instead I was charged $314 for a purge valve that was put into my car. The receipt said that the purge valve code is what came up on the diagnostic test, but when we originally spoke on the phone, he told me it was my transmission/clutches which is why I said I d just get a new car to begin with. I paid for the bill due to feeling bad about backing out of the deal and also respecting them as a garage - but I really don t believe I should have been charged for a part that I never said ok go ahead put that in my car . I also was told my car was still not safe to drive - so I left feeling confused and taken advantage of for sure. I also was told that I should not show this receipt to anyone in regards to trying to get my money back for the bill (for trade in purposes) by proving a new part was just put into it, and to keep it a secret which I also thought was very odd.

These guys have taken care of me for over 20 years! Recently they recommended I get new tires, as I was going out of town for a trip. They went out of their way to make sure I had new tires before I left on my trip (in a very tight timeframe!). I was so grateful, as halfway through the first day, it started pouring rain, and the roads were a little dicey. I saw a semi truck, hydroplane off the overpass, and crash on the road below very scary! I felt really safe and secure with my new tires and made the trip without incident! Always grateful that Rowland Street is looking out for me!

My fiance brought my car in for inspection literally just changed the sway bar links and had sway bar checked but was told it failed due to bad sway bar? Seems like fishing for money to me but I'm sure there will be a sorry your car didn't pass inspection it's old note after this. Car is maintained well and has almost all new parts. Won't go here again . Seems like because my fiance brought the car in they tried to finesse her.

We can t thank Rowland Street Garage enough for their help. We were visiting Saratoga for the weekend from Pennsylvania when we ran into some car trouble. We called them in the morning and they fit us in right away. They looked at our car immediately, identified the issue, and fixed it very quickly. On top of that, they gave us suggestions about where to eat while we waited. Thank you so much for your help- we are very glad to be driving back home in a safe car. such a pure amazing professional experience from making the appointment to the time the service was completed. The service writers were very attentive to the issues with my vehicle and addressed every detail. When i picked up my vehicle, they took the time to explain every service that was done on the vehicle and answered every question. i recommend them for any services you may need on your vehicle.

I have not experienced many garages like Rowland St Garage. The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to accommodate. I purchased my first car through them. My friend works in the garage and says how much he enjoys working there. Overall the environment is very upbeat. Hopefully i wont need to go back, but if i do i know i am in good hands.Service: General repairs

After returning from a 2 week vacation, my sister-in-law went to drive back to Utica and the car started making a noise. I told her it would be nearly impossible to have someone look at it same day, but I drove down to Rowland Street and the mechanic at the desk after hearing my story cheerfully said "let's take a look at it" he immediately drove the car and told me it was safe for her to drive back home, just a possible warped rotor from sitting outdoors for 2 weeks with no use. Wouldn't take any money for it-- I am VERY appreciative for their friendly and immediate help!

Larry was awesome, helped me get my car in no time! The shop took care of the couple minor things the car needed, and it's in fantastic condition. Great price on my 2010 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport.Update 7-12-19: There was a few issues with the car, things that couldn't be found until it was driven daily. Brian took care of everything, at no cost to me. Fantastic turn around time, everything fixed and taken care of. 100% would return and will be for future repairs and next vehicle purchase.

We stumbled upon this gem of a garage when we lived in Ballston Spa. The customer service and prices were wonderful! As an added bonus, I would drop my car off and they would drive me home! We moved to Scotia, but have really come to trust Rowland Street Garage and their staff with our cars. It's worth the effort to coordinate the pick-up/drop-off with my husband now. They're awesome!

I got my transmission changed at Rowland Street for my Jeep Wrangler, that had been off the road and parked for 1 year. It also needed new calipers because they seized while it sat. Gary did a great job locating a low mile transmission for me, and charged fairly for the labor. One of the calipers failed within the warranty time, and I just got that replaced today for no charge. The shop is clean, respectful, and everyone is friendly. They always try to make repairs as convenient as they can for the vehicle owner. I know that the team will always do their best to keep repairs cost effective and won't suggest unnecessary repairs.

There is no other garage for us. We live close, but even if we moved we'd bring our vehicles here.They are honest, quick and have always done right by us. They don't pressure us into superfluous repairs and don't condescend when explaining an issue. Also, when my wife goes they treat her with just as much respect as they give me.We've been going here for 12 years and feel fortunate to have found them.

These guys are outstanding! Helped me out in a pinch big time when the other garage couldn t fit my truck on their alignment machine these guys got it done now problem. My 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins on 35x12.5xr22 was no issue for them. I highly recommend using Rowland St Garage for all of your auto mechanic needs. They do great work in a timely manner. Very knowledgeable, organized and ready to help. Communication is excellent. I recently had some exstensive repairs done at the Rowland Street Garage, on my CRV in order to get it inspected. I was pleasantly surprised at what a huge difference the repairs made to the way the car now handles. Gary the Service Manager gave me a thorough explanation of what was needed and why. I think spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars at your shop, for you to fix the car that I bought, at your shop, and then for me to still leave there with my check engine light on and my EPC light on, would be the first indicator that my service needs were not met. And then after spending all of that money, for you to then tell me that there's nothing more that you can do for me and that I would have to take my car to a VW dealership to try to resolve the issue, is a pretty good indicator as well.

Had oil changed on Tuesday. They left my oil cap off. And I did not see a light come on till I was 45 min away. I called immediately as soon as I realized the cap was off. They WOULD NOT HELP ME on a Saturday. They told me I was out of luck on a Saturday as the business closes down . That they could not fix my car till Monday. Unbelievable. Will not be going there again. Tell your friends. I am a single woman and I am having to have my car towed all over Albany with no other vehicle. Poor poor customer service and negligent technical service. Hopefully my entire car is not ruined. If I could give negative stars I wouldService: Auto maintenance

I have debated leaving a review for a while but i absolutely feel like i need to. I purchased a vehicle from here in late August early September 2020. After barely a week of having it i got a cat code check engine light. They fixed it. Once again it came on they warranted the cat out and fixed it again. It again came on they fixed it plus i paid for the O2 to be replaced. That was just the beginning of the worst 2 years of car issues Ive ever experienced. I just hit the 2 year mark of owning it and since the first month of owning it its been one thing after another. I have put thousands beyond thousands into this car. Ive spent more in repairs than i paid for the car which was just over 10k. Now i cant even get it to pass inspection!! I have been told to take it to a GM dealership to let them figure it out. Absolutely insane! That was an absolute LEMON to say the least!!! Be extremely careful what you buy and never trust "one owner well maintained perfect maintenance record just what we love to see" because if it's too good to be true its not true.

My son brought his truck to Rowland Street Garage to have some repairs done. He was given an appointment the next day after calling the shop. His truck was fixed and inspected within a few hours.
