They go above and beyond always. Better than any other auto parts store I ve been to. Great selection of stuff on the shelf and in stock.

A very nice auto parts store well stocked and knowledgeable parts counter staff they own old street rods and trucks like me and know what there talking about !! Check them out located on rt 67 amsterdam NY

Can't say enough nice things about Matt at Carquest Auto Parts - Amsterdam. We arrived in the lot three minutes before closing time with no idea why both our brake lights had gone out (thanks to the kind stranger who ran up to us at a red light to let us know). He stayed half an hour after closing time to diagnose and fix the problem, and was so incredibly nice about the entire thing.

Not the cheapest, but they have very knowledgeable countermen that go the extra mile.

Was broke down today outside of town blew a bypass hose from water pump. Called Amsterdam store and he had the parts I needed and delivered them to me on the side of the road as I tried to resolve the problem myself because roadside service was going to be hours and more expensive than I wanted to pay. Then I lost one of the bolts and he came out a second time to try and help me. You will never find service like this place anywhere else!!

Small place located at a weird location, but they almost always have the car parts you need at great prices. Check with them first if you re looking for a part for your vehicle. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
