I called the Amsterdam location late in the afternoon in a panic after realizing my NYS inspection had expired. Prior to calling Adirondack, I had tried at least 8 other places to see if they could get me in, and was given appointment times a week or more out. These guys got me in with no wait, no appointment, and were a pleasure to do business with. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. We even had a few laughs before I drove off fully inspected. I would HIGHLY recommend this honest, knowledgeable and friendly group of guys. I will be back for all of my car repair/inspection needs.

I had used them a few times for oil changes with out a problem but took my car to them to get inspected and was told I needed work major work done that did not need to be done.I had another garage check my car as well as a relative who is a retired master mechanic who took pictures to show nothing was wrong. Went back and confronted them and they denied it and refused to look at the video showing nothing was wrong or would discuss it so I filed a complaint with DMV who did a very thorough investigation and found my complaint was valid and informed me they would be contacting them to impose a fine.I will not give them the chance to be dishonest and try to scam me again.Follow up!The inspector from DMV who did the investigation finally was able to get me the $21.00 fee back for the scam inspection but only after nonsense from the owner. They will be fined and their dishonesty will be on record permanently and I am very thankful the DMV investigator did a great job resolving the issue.

Go there as soon as you can! Why? Honesty, Integrity, character. AEL cares before and way after the sale. I ve been involved with buying, selling, and maintaining vehicles for 40 years and I ve seen just about everything you wouldn t want. Not at AEL! Only the best service, repair, and attitude. When you get treated the way they take care of you the price does not matter as you know it was done right and you feel good about it. Good people!

Great service, fair prices, trustworthy workmanship.... you don't find places like this much these days. Just moved to the area looking for a new mechanic... very fortunate finding AEL. Very good customer service. As I was cashing out the technician noticed I had a sticker on the back of my truck. He then asked if I was a veteran, I said yes And applied a veteran's discount. Really great customer service, was in and out quickly on a Saturday morning. The price for an oil change was a bit higher than I'm used to but I get a full synthetic and they check and top off all fluids so I was okay with the price. Definitely recommend.

This place is great to take care of ur vechicle repair's, and they do N.Y. State Inspection's too. No appointment neccessary on a first come first basis unless they recommend to you a appointment for longer repair time on what you may need done on ur vechicle. The mechanic's there are very helpful & explain what you may need more done with ur vechicle after ur initial repair's if neccessary. They have fast & quick service no long waiting period unless some major repair's need's to be done on ur vechicle's. They are very reasonable in their price's and with reliable service. It's what keep's me comming back for all my car repair's & service needed. Their easy to find off Route 30 heading into Amsterdam across the road from Speedway Gas Station on the right hand side of the road. From a very satisfied customer thank's guy's.

They got me in right away. Changed my oil in about 20 minutes. The man at the counter was helpful and kinda crabby, but in a funny way. I'll go here for my next oil change.

I have been going to Adirondack Express Lube for 5+ years, and haven t had a bad experience once. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it s a good environment. They offer a variety of services. I go for oil changes, and change my transmission fluid with them as well. Service is generally quick if they re not really busy. They ll offer you air filters, lightbulbs, wipers, etc if they think your car needs it, but you re never pressured to buy from them.

First time going to them with my own car. Great service! Brought things to my attention about my car that I wasn't aware of. The guys in the shop are friendly and know their stuff. Highly recommend!

Good prices. They don't try to sell you into buying things you don't need. For proof for new air filter they brought mine into the waiting room and offered me the option to buy a new one. I said yes of course. I never have to call ahead and im in and out in less than an hour.

I go here all the time for my oil changes. Went the other day and my car was smoking so I asked them to fix the problem, they replaced my radiator (which they took me in the back to show me that it did need replacing). The next day my car started smoking again, I took it back and found there was another problem causing the smoking that wasn't there the day before, so the man who fixed my car the day before stayed late and fixed the different problem on my car for no charge being I paid the day before. They are all very very friendly, accommodating, and they work fast

Came to this location 2 times calling before arrival to make sure they had time to complete an inspection on my vehicle. Drove 15 minutes just to be turned down once arriving to location. Terrible customer service.

I usually have a fine experience here, but today I went in at 12:15 for an oil change and was rudely turned away and told to come back at 1:00 with no apology. The sign says they are closed 12:30 to 1:00 for lunch. I understand they get backed up, but it is unreasonable for a business like this to close right at hours that others are on break and running errands. They have lost my business. I went to Monro down the road and got right in. I will not be going back to Adirondack Express.***editing to clarify following owners response...I was disappointed in the way I was rudely addressed. When I said hi, the only response i got was have to come back at one. A company certainly has every right to choose their break hours and extend those hours (I was turned away 15 min before posted break hours), and I also have every right to bring my business to a location that is open at a convenient time for my schedule and treats me professionally. As previously stated, my other experiences here have been fine, but it is the rude response, rather than the hours, that have discouraged me from returning.

I was passing through town on my way to Saratoga and I had become worried a wheel was loose. The owner took time to come out and double check everything was safe so I could continue onto my destination. Really appreciated it!!

I would definitely recommend Adirondack Express Lube in Amsterdam. They were very friendly, especially the woman at the desk, and quick. I was in and out of there in no time. Not to mention they take walk-ins, which is very convenient.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Rob's a great guy been going to him for a few years now , one of the few I trust with my cars , I do prefer the rt30 one over the one gloversville but all around honest fair work.

The only place to take your vehicle for repairs.The owner is honest,and he has a good team working for him.And if they make a mistake they fix it and will make sure you are fully satisfied and make it right!

They are the best , they take care of my oil change every time it calls for it , i needed help with my hi beams and not only did they find the problem , they showed it to me what was wrong . I cant thank them enough
