This company works with dealers only. I have not had a good experience with shining star collision. They were contracted to fix a known defect in my Hyundai peeling paint. Not only did they not do the job nor complete the job. They took my front windshield and my back windshield off and cannot prove to me that they are OEM. They sent to the president of Hyundai s office a hand written invoice to let me know that both windshields are OEM. Shady shoddy work at best. Mind you that I was informed multiple times that they did get paid in full to do a job. My car has four shades of white since they never blended any of the colors together. They had my car two different times my car came back 50+ miles on it. The dealership is 18 miles round-trip at best. The inside of my car was filthy. Somebody was joy riding. They never fixed or dressed any of the issues they tried to cover it up and Zaba little paint on peeling paint. My car is a mess and now I m stuck with this and nobody from the Hyundai dealership nor the presidents office of Hyundai nor shining star collision were all up to this issue be warned. The photo I posted is a picture I took the other day which is the summer of 2023. Shining star collision had my car in the winter at the end of January February 2023. If I can give zero stars I would.4/1/24. If you experience the fraud, you would not believe rave reviews. Be warned. I lost money selling the car after the horrible appearance of their work.

Someone hit my brand new Genesis gv80 while parked. Luckily there was a witness. On recommendation from dealership, we brought the car to Shining Star Collision in Amityville. Frank and his staff took care of everything, including car rental. He keptbus informed on what had to be done. He was very knowledgeable, as well as his staff. His receptionist was also very nice and patient when I called. You cannot tell where the damage was! Thank-you to Frank and his entire staff.

Highly recommend!! From the moment I walked in the staff was super helpful, they made the whole experience a breeze. Very professional, friendly and did such a nice job. My car looks great and I got it back cleaner than when I bought it. Thank you so much!

100% A+++++ professional courteous and helpful. They provided detailed information about how my car was going to be repaired. They quickly helped coordinating with my insurance company and obtaining a rental vehicle. Completely hassel free experience. If you need auto body repair done call them. Their repair and finishing work on the front of my vehicle was flawless. Looks brand new!Service: Body & Trim

Had warranty work done through KIA and they did not do a very good job. Although the paint color match is very good the paint work is sloppy with dust stuck under the clear coat and paint over spray all over the trim pieces. Maybe they just do a bad job because KIA isn't willing to pay for a proper paint job but I would steer clear of having them do anything to your car if you have a choice.Service: Painting

Shining Star did an excellent job with my car!! They replaced the front bumper and the headlight on the drivers side!! They cleaned and detailed my car and it was looking like new money!! They took care of my rental needs!! They are top shelf and I would highly recommend them!! My car will only go to Shining Star!!

Best auto body around the area. Honest and fast service. They fixed my WRX STI 2016 and left it like new. The staff is great! and they keep you up to date on what's going with the car. I would definitely recommend to friends/family.

They claimed that test drove the car after repairs and return back to me with humming noises and the struts damaged and the windshield cracked. Turns out that the tire and rim was damaged and the struts had to be replaced. Plus they took a lot money.

Don t even know where to start.ABSOLUTE WORST BODY SHOP. REALLY REALLY BAD WORK. REALLY BAD ATTITUDE. THEY RUINED MY 2020 RAM 1500. HAD TO RETURN WITH IT TWICE. 2ND TIME CAME BACK WORSE THEN FIRST TIME. HAVE TO BRING TO DIFFERENT BODY SHOP TO FIX ALL THERE MISTAKES.IF I CAN GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Body & Trim
