Cost $6k to fix a problem Balcun's caused.Had some work done and they didn't properly reconnect the transmission fluid hose. Within 5 miles of leaving their garage the hose popped off and all of the transmission fluid blew out. They apologized, fixed the hose and refilled the fluid, but the transmission immediately burned out. They acknowledged that losing the fluid from the hose they worked on was the cause given it was a low mileage car but then literally challenged me to find a "transmission detective" to prove it and refused to take any responsibility. Hopefully the court can help.

I would never recommend this business under any circumstances!!The only mechanic in this place, Jared, is super toxic - Doesn't care about himself, certainly doesn't care about you or your safety / well being - Almost got me killed and others driving on Montauk highway when my steering wheel came off in my hands, cause this nimrod didn't put my steering wheel on right or tight when I came in week prior when my steering wheel was making a squeak noise!Totally negligent!! On top of it puts my steering wheel on crooked by about 200� off center. Total clown who takes no pride or care in his work.Don't come here unless you unless you want to be subjected to possibly death , no circumstances is worth that in my mind.This place can't even be relied upon for a competent Triple A towing service.Negligence at its finest. No pride or care.

Unreliable, untrustworthy and unorganized. I really tried my hardest to support this local business but they were impossible. I also think they took advantage of the fact that I do not know much about cars. Ended up using a different service center and paid half the price of what Balcun's quoted me. It's unlike me to leave a bad review because I manage a local small business and do my best to support everyone but Amagansett , be wary.

Biggest scammers in Long Island, they are never clear and withhold important information from you, and they have the most absurd prices, don t recommend this place for nothing !

Extremely convenient. Near bus and train transportation, restaurants. Across from Lincoln Center. Reasonably priced. Old world.

My girlfriend broke down 4 times already; They came and got her right awaywith in 25 minutes with a flat bed especially this Sunday September 24th 2017, after church. When she called around and No was available on weekends. Cookie that answered phone was polite and concerning to help right away. They towed her home, the Staff was very experience and polite with taking care her Cadillac SUV. I highly recommend them and appreciated all they do for the Local community.

I use them frequently for my 2009 Volvo XC90 and they are reliable and transparent, telling you upfront the cost, and they do very good work. I m out East only on weekends, and they will squeeze me in for my convenience. My experience with Balcun has been 1000 times better than my experience with the Volvo dealer service.

This is my second year coming here for my inspection. Accommodating as they were able to fit me in the same day and allowed me to wait while other mechanics require a drop off.
