This mechanic is awesome! Very nice and honest. Great price!I had wheel bearing/s go bad while on a weekend vacation. He had the best reviews but was also the ONLY mechanic open on a Saturday in town. He explained and showed me the problem, gave me a ride to my cabin while he repaired my car. Brought my car back to me fixed the same day! Another part broke on my car due heat exposure but he didn t charge me extra to fix it or for having to travel 2 1/2 miles to get new part.I can t say enough good about Art and his wife! They are really wonderful people!

Art saved our vacation! Two days before we were leaving, our SUV radiator froze up and cracked while skiing at Ski Apache. I thought the head gasket blew out. I called everyone in town and no one was willing to help out. I found Art and called him. He came to my vacation rental and performed some initial diagnostics. He correctly determined it was just a cracked radiator and replaced it before we left. He drove all the way to Alamogordo to pick up the radiator and hoses for the job. Then he charged me WAY less than I would have expected to pay for this job under normal circumstances. 2,000 miles later it is still working perfectly. This guy is the real deal and knows what service means. I wish I could find someone like this where I live!

A true angel! My car decided to stop working right as my sister and I were heading home from a weekend trip. Arturo and Patricia went above and beyond. They came to us at the cabin and personally led us to O'Reilly to change our battery. Art s Auto Repair is a blessing!My boyfriend and I were in the middle of a roadtrip and needed to have the front axles replaced. Art s not only got us in AND took care of the problem quickly, they also gave us an amazing price! Many companies/businesses claim they prioritize customer satisfaction and saving their customers money/giving them deals, but Art s is one of the few businesses that I actually believe it!Amazing staff! Art was very helpful. We are from out of town and we re traveling home the next day our truck was starting to act up and we didn t want to risk driving back and something happening. We called art and he told us to come on down he was very honest, upfront, and professional. He knew what he was talking about and had our truck back to running normal in no time. Car just quit on me, no power, stranded in a parking lot. I called Art and he sent Tim and Matt out immediately. These boys replaced my alternator within an hour. They checked everything under the hood. Explained everything they were doing, and gave me a very fair price. They were great! I didn't know any mechanics in this area, and home was a few hours away. I could not express how grateful I was to find Art and his wife Patricia.My car lost power Sunday 3am as I was leaving to Texas.After doing a Google search came across Art's repair shop. I decided to call Art at 7am Sunday morning, Art was very polite and didn't hesitate to open his shop that early. He ran a diagnose and fixed issue less than 2 hours. If you from H- Town and see this message, call Art. You will not regret it.

My daughter s car broke down on a Thursday late afternoon. She was panicked at what she was going to do, as we were to leave Ruidoso the next morning. She called them at closing time and Art told her they were ready to close. But after hearing her situation and that we livedapproximately 250 miles fro Ruidoso, he kindly dispatched two of his mechanics out to help us on the roadside. They were there to help us in fifteen minutes. They assessed the problem in a timely matter. The alternator needed replacing. They called Art and he came very soon with a new alternator. They fixed it a timely, and courteous manner.I would highly recommend this mobile service to anyone. The mechanics he sent to help were Tim and Matt.These guys were awesome.

Art is a very knowledgeable person when it comes to diagnose. My husband has had his Nissan Titan 4X4 truck serviced at several shops over the last year. Lots of news parts later with the same issues happening, Art found and fixed the problem. He seems to be a very honest person and has our total confidence and respect. Total thumbs up.

Arturo and his assistant saved the day. A hose from my radiator ripped. He had the part ordered and placed all within 2 hours at a very reasonable price. Arturo / Tim, thank you. I will always visit when I am in Ruidoso.

Just helped a friend get her Subaru CV axles replaced. She got a quote for $1200, google shows typical dealer price is maybe 600-800 and Art did the work+parts for $320. Was very informal but kept his word,no reminders needed. In addition he topped off brake and ATF fluids for no charge. Seems to me Art runs a low overhead,but high quality operation.

We are from El paso and we took a rode trip to Ruidoso for couple of days. So on the way to Ruidoso my boyfriend's truck was shaking like crazy. We barely made it to the hotel. So anyways we called 2 places nobody answered then we called Art's Auto shop andthey answered right away. My boyfriend explained the situation and they said be there in 5 mins. Well they got there less then 5. So we followed them to the shop. They did a diagnose on his truck. They fixed the issue fast and explained everything they did and what caused it. Now we can continue to enjoy our days in Ruidoso.Also the Owner Art is from El Paso. So my boyfriend liked him alot they kind of lived in the same area. Anyways I recommend Art's Auto Shop. Now if we are having truck issues in Ruidoso we know where to go. Thanks Art and his Crew you guys were SOOOO AWESOME A+++ All the way

I called this place when my car was down and stuck at the hotel and they helped me tow my car and tried to fix the problem. I was the first in they were very helpful. He charged me at a low price for towing truck even though he had worked on my car all day. He didn t charge me anything else. I greatly appreciate them and I will definitely be calling again if I have any problem in ruidoso I highly recommend them.

I took my 99 Toyota Tacoma in due to a nasty oil leak. These guys fixed al the leaks and cleaned up the mess under my hood. They even found another leak that I had missed and fixed that as well. 5 out of 5, I will be bringing my truck here from now on! I would Not recommend!! He did not do his job and he won't answer me now ..I paid him for nothing just to steal money I guess it wasn't even a week and my engine light came on!! Worst mechanic ever

This is the worst repair shop I've ever been to. The man charged us for a repair he didn't even do. Even admitted that he fired one of his workers for exactly that. Told us he would give our money back but then started avoiding our calls. He's just a crook plain and simple.

Was hacked on my gmail but nothing but good vibes from these people art does great work and help.me out the best he can who goes out of h8s way to help people out if you don't poke your work that's being done I suggest that you go to art

He loves to claim hes fixing vehicles but steals them. Also when someone pays him it's been a month now and he hasn't even started on it. Would not at all recommend him.

The guy is a thief. Do not patronize this hoodlum. He has a fenced area of cars he has stolen after lying to customers so he can obtain mechanics liens on them.He steals cars covertly and the cops don't touch him. Avoid him at all costs.KARMA WILL CATCH UP TO HIM. That sort of hoodlum is highly lacking when it comes to morals.
