Honest, reasonably priced, efficient. They let me know that something the dealer was telling me was imperative to repair wasn't actually a problem saving me nearly a thousand dollars. They were easy to work with on another repair on my truck and got it taken care of in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone searching for a good local mechanic.

I highly recommend this business. They are very busy, but were able to have my vehicle repaired the same day. Very professional staff. Good work at an honest price. My 2019 Forester has a new home.

When I moved back to Albuquerque I fired two mechanics in the first 8 months. To say I'm picky about my mechanics is probably an understatement. I've been going to TKS for about 8 years now and even was with them when they passed on the ownership - the service and knowledge remains superb. Also, I'm a woman so loving my mechanic is a tall order - I always feel "heard" and there's never mansplaining :-). They are worth every penny, and have probably saved me thousands of dollars in helping me identify potential problems early and they definitely help keep me safe on my many road trips. They'll also be up front with you on what you need now vs. what can wait awhile.

Couldn t be happier with the service and quality of work I received from TKS automotive. Limped in with what I thought was a car-killing problem after my car gave out about a mile down the road from these guys. A few days later, I was back on the road and my bank account wasn t empty. Great, great place. Super satisfied.

Highly recommend this shop. I ve had some work done at a few places around town and countless places across the nation. This is one of the few I ll recommend and say that I fully trust. Dylan especially has gone above and beyond to help me and make sure I m taken care of and I really appreciate that they re honest and more than fair with pricing for the hard work they put into making sure every customer is treated well!

Some friends of ours recommended TKS automotive and said they won t use anybody else. So we gave them a try and we re happy with the results. It is comforting to have a good, honest mechanic you can rely on.

The staff at TKS are a group of professionals dedicated to meeting the customer's needs. I had them do some upgrades and maintenance on my 4Runner and I couldn't be happier. Tom took time to explain everything he had done on my rig and I feel that I got a good value for what they did. I have found a mechanic who will do all of the work on my vehicles in the future. I was super psyched with these guys. Got me in on short notice. Swapped out stock shocks on my 2004 LX460 with more standard shocks that I provided. Not far from the rail runner station so I was able to go without car for a couple days. Felt like the hourly was more than fair for work out in.

Being a traveling nurse it's hard to find honest and good mechanics to work on your car. I took my Honda Highlander Hybrid in with many a problem, but the main one being I needed the left control arm replaced. It was supposed to cost between $1300-$1600 with parts and labor based on research AND what they had told me. They got me out the door with an alignment for $900. Was honest about what he did and what he charged me for. He could have easily charged me for the hours it says it takes to complete said job, but he didn't and got me back on the road ASAP (was quoted Wednesday, car was ready Monday) Came back the next payday to get an oil change and will be back again before a major road trip. Thanks TKS!

TKS Automotive is the best shop I've dealt with. Every other mechanic has left me with the feeling that I've just been screwed. Not so with TKS.I had another shop replace the clutch in my Ranger - it lasted less than a year. TKS replaced the clutch and it feels better than the factory installed clutch. They also fixed the engine oil leak (rear main seal) that the other shop couldn't get right.They also did an alignment on my heavily modified front 4x4 suspension. They nailed it! The truck tracks and rides perfectly now.All in all, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED shop.

We have taken all our vehicles to TKS and feel t hat they are really good about isolating the vehicle problem and coming up with the most effective solution. They have always recommended the minimum that needs to be fixed and do not try to sell us on repairs that are not needed...like a lot of other mechanics we have used in the past have done.

Dillon and Tom at TKS are two of the coolest guys you will ever meet, they treat you like family the minute you walk in the door and are very good at the work they do. I have had two of my cars repaired at TKS Automotive over the past several years: a 2006 Infiniti and a 2008 Buick Enclave.Tom, Sara, and the staff are always prompt, friendly, and the work is done on time and for very competitive rates. They have a nice waiting room with a puzzle of the day on a dry marker board (and it's a good one).They also have a play room for small children to keep them busy while you wait.I recommend them to anyone in the Albuquerque area.

I gave these guys five stars because i couldnt give them ten. This is the absolute best place in Albuquerque to take your vehicles. Myself and my family have been using them for years with no problems and the best service ive seen from a business in a long time. They've replaced a turbo in my car, fixed coolant leaks, and fixed my brakes that i drove into nothing. Their prices are extremely fair and their work is top notch, i dont even recognize my car because it runs so much better after coming here. If it matters if you can trust the guys working on your stuff, then bring it here.

After over a year of trying to repair the '99 4Runner with over 280,000 miles on it, named Clank, I gave up and took it to TKS. They accurately troubleshot the problem to the fuel pump. It took them work, but they did it! We looked and got frustrated, so instead of buying another vehicle, I re-bought the wife's "baby" for a fraction of the cost. Thank you TKS!

Tom and his team at TKS are amazing! My sons were on their way to college out West and literally a thousand miles from home. They made it to Albuquerque and stopped for the night. The next morning when they went to start the car, it lunged forward and died. Not knowing a soul there in ABQ we had it towed to a dealership. Within a couple of hours they told my son that the timing chain slipped and he needed a new motor to the tune of $6000. By the grace of God we found TKS. They opened up the engine and determined the timing was correct. Then they went through troubleshooting systematically and finally figured out the issue, test drove, checked, and rechecked validating the fix. Tom called me and talked through the details. They fixed the problem for a 10th of the cost and got my sons headed on their way to college. We are so grateful to have found Tom and TKS Automotive. I highly recommend them all the way from Memphis, Tennessee!

Great Service! I brought my car in on a Monday morning. I got a call right away saying the parts I needed were going to be ordered. It was finished and ready the next day. We have used them for more than car and always have a good experience. TKS makes dealing with these stressful situations a lot easier. Nobody better in Albuquerque!

BUYER BEWARE! TKS Automotive seemed be a good shop, but that all changed once they got their hands on my money. Paid $60 for A/C diagnosis even after the receptionist on the phone and in-person had told me only $40. The $60 was only brought up after the diagnosis was completed, but I let it slide. . Diagnosis was wrong after I replaced the parts that the "tech" had recommend. Still having the same issue before the repair. Not asking for the world, just asked them to take a look and see what was wrong, after all, that's what I paid them the initial $60. Tom wasn't willing to budge at all or try and fix this issue. He found a million ways to say, "no" and zero ways to say, "yes" or even "maybe." Do not recommend this company. They will not do what is right for the consumer. Albuquerque, don't waste your time and money with this company.

I have gone to TKS numerous times and have never had any issues with them. The work is OUTSTANDING and the people there are great. There is a reason that they are always swamped and busy .it is because they do a good job and people keep coming back. I don t ever consider going anywhere else. I HIGHLY recommend anyone in the metro area taking their automotive issues to them. They are very responsive as well.

TKS is the worst! If you value your time and your money, do not take your vehicle to TKS. I called on Monday to schedule an appointment for Friday and took my car in Thursday afternoon to make sure they would have all day to get it taken care of. By 10am Friday I hadn't heard boo from them. I called only to find out that they hadn't even touched it yet. By noon I still hadn't heard anything back. Got a call at 12:21 p.m., which I returned at 12:28 p.m. telling me there were two error codes relating to the transmission (I already told them it was a transmission problem). I authorized them to take it apart and see what was going on. Again, wait, wait, wait...by 3:00 p.m. I still hadn't heard anything so I called once again and told that he was still looking at it. Got a call back at 3:36 p.m. telling me that a major part has to be replaced (truly, this was not a surprise), but they didn't have the part and it would be Monday before they could get it. I asked why it took 7.5 hours to find this out when I already told them it was a transmission issue. Her answer was that it took so long because she had to wait for me to call her back. Really!!!! It took me seven minutes to return her call and that caused the delay. I had to kick them in the butt all day long to even begin the process and then to stay on task. Save yourself a lot of time, aggravation and money and DO NOT take your vehicle to TKS. The Worst!

Took my sons truck in for an engine install and after 2 and 1/2 months, I had a $3,000 engine install, to include A/C, which was not included.Shows you need to get estimates in writing. Please take your cars elsewhere. I was taken advantage of, feel like I was bent over and molested. Will not go Back, Will not recommend.
