The Firestone on Juan Tabo is a nightmare because of the manager, Jason. I had called to check the life time warranty in brake pads I paid for in 2020. He lied and said there is no warranty unless it's specifically written on the receipt but other Firestone employees, in town, assured me it's policy and it's not implicitly stated on the receipt.The Juan Tabo location is more convenient. I scheduled an appointment for brake replacement. Nobody at all was in the shop, early in the morning. Jason sat at his desk for 10 or 15 minutes before bothering to get up and greet. Then like a neanderthal, again, early in the morning, proceeded to argue with me about the appointment not being for anything but an inspection only, AND again, about the brake pads not being something that is a policy on warranty. He was so aggressive and angry over stupid brake pads, it had me shaky and uncomfortable. He couldn't help himself, even arguing in the background while I was on the phone. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car there and I would highly recommend avoiding this toxic manager at all cost.

The staff at Firestone on Juan Tabo were very friendly, courteous and patient. They were constantly keeping me updated on any changes to my car. I will definitely keep going to this location specifically for the reasons stated above.

Good mechanics BUT way too overpriced. Wanted to charge $2700 to fix my car. I went elsewhere and got same services for $977. Do not take their word. Take your car elsewhere and get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. I trust firestone mechanics they have fixed my car before but this time the price was exorbitant and ill never return.

I took my newly purchased vehicle with a check engine. These guys went above and beyond checking for any leaks within the old machine and found out that there was a crack and leaking engine coolant. These guys replaced the engine and my turbo. The guys here at Firestone deserve five stars. They go beyond their call of duty if you need help with any repair. Take it to Firestone, and they will treat you right and get it done. They had to deal with the warranty company, which is no light duty. Give these guys a raise. Firestone, from checking in to the guys working on the vehicle, has so much respect for their customers. They did a fantastic job. They had to take the old engine out. I mean, everything out of the vehicle, the car was just a shell, and they put all brand new parts in the vehicle entirely. I got a brand new vehicle from them, and they warranty everything. The worst experience I've ever had! First I wanted to replace 2 headlight bulbs on my truck and was quoted the price of $ 280 because of labor on my truck. I went immediately to Pep Boys and had them done for $56.00. Then I scheduled an appointment online for an oil change for 1pm, I showed up and was told I didn't have an appointment and they couldn't get to me that day. Later at 4 pm I got an appointment confirmation email for 1pm. The front desk person is rude and condescending! A few years ago this was a good shop, don't go there now they are horrible!

Extremely slow!! Only one other vehicle here and still took 2+ hours to do an oil change, atleast 5 people to do both vehicles as well, watched for an hour minimum as they stood between both vehicles doing absolutely nothing, wouldn t ever recommend this place

We have been going to this Firestone for years, but the service has gone downhill. After the last oil change, they did not flag that the coolant level on the car was dangerously low and the car switched into low power mode the very next day (when we took it back they confirmed that there was no leak, this was just evaporation). Later that week, the battery started to give out. When we asked them to look the car again, we were told that it was our fault and that they don't do things that they are not explicitly told to do upon dropping off the car.This place will do requested maintenance, but don't look to them to ensure that your car is running properly.Service: Oil change

Great service!! This team really helped me out when my car was acting up during a cross-country move. They quickly identified the problem and were able to make the repair the next day as soon as the part came in. I was able to make it safely to my new home with no other issues.

I went there for a flat tire repair and they advertised free flat repair. The tire was of the car and in the trunk. The staff was nice but when I recieved the bill it was 21 something before even looking at the car. Not bad but there shouldn't have been a cost and the guy behind the desk said "We don't fix flats for free here." Odd being their sign outside said otherwise.

Absolutely incompetent Customer Service Reps. I made an appointment at this Firestone because my front wheel bearing started making noise a few days before I was planning a long road trip. I also needed to swap out my winter tires for summer tires. I couldn't get an appointment in time at my normal mechanic but Firestone had one available the morning before I was supposed to leave.I brought the car in and told the rep that I can hear that the right front wheel bearing is going bad. She called several hours later telling me the tech confirmed that and gave a quote to replace the entire hub assembly. I said "sounds good" and she said it would likely be done the next morning because the tech got behind. No big deal. She finally calls the next afternoon and I go in to pick up the car. FOR SOME REASON THEY HAD NOT ACTUALLY COMPLETED THE SERVICE?!All they had done is completed the tire swap, she said "oh I didn't hear you give us permission to do the bearing." Like, that's the whole reason I brought the car in, and you called me to give me a quote and I said "ok sounds good". If she wasn't sure why didn't she ask to confirm? And then they had the audacity to charge me a diagnostic fee, when I literally already told them what was wrong with the car.Never going back here again. Now I'm having to borrow my roommate's car for my trip and wait until I get back to get the wheel bearing replaced at my usual mechanic.Service: Tires

Made an appointment to have our brakes looked at possibly as a warranty repair since we just bought them in Nov, but after we dropped off the vehicle, they called to tell us the mechanic refused to work on it. They wouldn't diagnosis it or anything. No reasonable reason given. When I ask for more information, I was told they can't force their workers to do something they don't want to do. I was dumbfounded. I could understand if they looked at it and decided it wasn't something they could fix or if we needed to make another appointment, but to refuse to provide the service that they do with no good reason is just not acceptable.

Front tire was worn on the outer aspect. The tech (sorry I did not get his name) worked for 2 hours trying to determine cause of the uneven. He thought it may be related to a Ford service by bulletin and ask that we take it to the dealer. He did not dream up some reason and make unnecessary maintenance and charge us. In fact there was no charge.Service: Tires

I used to not care for Firestone but know it's hard for me to go anywhere else. Miriaha is is best Tech in the building she always does a great job on my vehicles and does it with a smile.

One of the worst Firestones I have been to. We had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation took 2 hours. The staff was rude and unfriendly. The girls at the front desk were too busy talking to the mechanics to help anyone. They insist on customers wearing masks but the mechanics aren't and they are in your vehicle. The gentleman that was there at the same time as us waited about an hour and half to get one tire put on and was still waiting when we left. Will not return to this location. Sent email to the reply and never heard back. Continues to show how much they truly care about their customers. Don't use this location!

I like Firestone overall.This Store is the exception.Not only did they not do all the work I requested when making the appointment, they highball me with the products used.When I told the Service Mgr I was unhappy and wouldn't be back...her response was okay, have a nice day.I will take my $1000/year trade elsewhere. They're too busy to CARE!

I had my light engine on and decided to go to Firestone as they were the closest around and I thought such an old company would do a good job. It took for ever for them to diagnose the issue and then the $1000 repair was revealed. I had gone there before for a basic inspection and I had heard that number before for struts replacement that I didn't think I needed and which I didn't do. The intake manifold had to be replaced, this time around. I asked why it couldn't be fixed and they told me immediately, no. So, because I'm new in town, I paid $99 for the diagnose (!!!) and had to comeback next day to leave the car for repair. I should have made my search, but at the time I didn't know the name of the part and simple thought it was what it was. When I delivered the car I got the part name and made my research. 12 mechanics in Albuquerque would honor a budget of $220 to $260 to repair the issue! I was furious with myself and even more with the rip off I was undergoing.When I got to the shop I asked for the part invoice and was shown one for $423. Firestone would add $300 on it as their profit, claiming that it would cover a 12 month warranty on it. A warranty for $300!!! I was charge $933, because they made me apply for their credit card (28% apr) and was promised a 10% discount. They wanted to give me 5% only. I complained and the manager gave me the 10%. Anyways, I believe I was overcharged by at least $200 (if one considers that from those $300, $100 is enough to pay for the warranty and some profit)

Worst shop we have ever been to! They replaced more than needed because they originally replaced a bad thermostat with another bad one! But get this! Before replacing the thermostat they flushed out our water pump and said nothing was wrong!!! They only blamed the water pump once they replaced our thermostat with another bad one! Spent almost twice as much was needed and they kept the car for almost a whole day for no reason!! And these people think they are worth 600$ labor when they have no experience to figure out a simple issue. Will never be returning to get ripped off again. Super shady!!

Beyond disappointed in this Firestone, and I've been going here for 15 years... With every car I buy, I always purchase the "lifetime alignment" from Firestone. Once upon a time, they were fast and reliable. Those days are long over. I scheduled an appointment three days in advance to have my alignment done after replacing the front struts. All seemed well when I showed up for my appointment as there was only one other person in the waiting room and I was given NO indication that service was delayed. 1 HOUR and 20 MINUTES AFTER I ARRIVED and the car had been in the bay NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE.... the technician named "G" alerted me that he was "UNWILLING" to do the alignment because he thought I had a bad bushing in the tie rod. As he attempted to show me the <1/8th inch of supposed play in my linkage, he was also complaining about the car next to me that was "due" in 15 minutes and how he had to finish that car. I asked if he had already gotten the initial alignment image and he said "No...(he) had not touched my car yet"... WTF.... My car had been in the bay for over an hour before he decided to "shake a wheel" and make the decision that he was "UNWILLING" to do the alignment that was already paid for because he had a car that the owner was coming for in 15 minutes. I SCHEDULED MY MAINTENANCE IN ADVANCE; LEFT WORK EARLY, LOSING PAY, TO HAVE HIM DO NOTHING AFTER OVER AN HOUR.The ONLY saving grace from this encounter was the customer service rep, Josiah, who truly had some of the BEST customer service skills I've ever seen. I would hire that guy Any day for Any job just based on his professionalism and customer service skills. (Seriously, Josiah, give me a call and I'll recruit you in a heartbeat) Cody, give that guy a RAISE and FIRE "G" if you want to stay in business. Unfortunately, this one upset this combat veteran Marine enough that I will not be back.

Terrible service. They refuse to honor their warranties. My husband went in for tire balance and alignment. They refused to do the job because the tires were 7 years old even though the warranty was for 10 years. My son went in for alignment and they said it needed new bearings so he did that. He went back and they still refused to do the job even though it was under warranty. We have purchased many tires there, but never again.

Excellent service and great mechanics! They properly repaired what another shop didn't do. (The other place should not even be in operation, based on what they did.) They took the time to care, and explain what was going on with my car. They made sure it was perfect before I drove off. A special thanks to Store Manager Miguel. You guys rock!

I walked in because I had a oil change coupon. Best whim I ever had. The staff has been absolutely amazing. I had several issues and we planned on getting them all done in stages. I can't thank them enough for working with me. They kept me informed and comfortable.Only discomfort I had was the seating. Not really meant for hours of sitting. I made the best of it and the tv was a pleasant distraction.I am looking forward to being a long term customer at this store because of the wonderful staff.

Purchased unusual tire size on eBay and had them delivered to Firestone on Juan Tabo for installation. Staff did a great job of getting these tires on my old car. Front desk and guys in the back went above and beyond to give me good service. They earned my appreciation.Thank you.
