I recently had 4 tires replaced at the Verona Mavis and was told during that appointment that my Jeep 's entire suspension needed replacement (for $1700, which was so kindly brought down from the usual $2600! *Eye roll*). I immediately called Alberona because I used to bring my car there all the time before moving out of Verona for a few years and asked for advice. Tom reassured me this was a common call he received after a customer did work with Mavis and that he'd gladly take a look at my car. Sure enough, after a thorough inspection and test drive, he confirmed that my car was not in need of a new suspension. He explained when a car possibly would be at a point of needing such work, which was helpful since I'm clueless about cars, and offered to keep an eye on it when I bring in my car in the future routine maintenance, such as an oil change. I was already relieved by the news that I didn't need a new suspension, but then I was even more satisfied by Tom's customer service when he told me there would be no charge for my car that day. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the level of service and kindness I received at Alberona today and 1000% percent recommend this business! I will only be coming back here!

This is the best shop around. I had to bring my car in because there was some noise coming from the suspension and Tom clearly explained what the issues were and that they needed to be fixed eventually but not immediately. He didn't push and sales or repair work and made me feel at ease about my vehicle. I also recently had my tires replaced here and the service was fast and courteous. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone.Service: Tires

Had an issue with my brakes and rotors that were only 8500 miles old and were replaced at Mavis. He took a look at them and said the rotors aren t great quality but I have a lot of miles left on the pads so nothing needed to be done now. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation and replaced something that didn t need to be done. I really respect that and will definitely go back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Tom, the mechanic was extremely helpful and prompt with doing the repairs I needed in a timely manner. As someone who knows very little about cars, he took the time to explain to me the issue and how he resolved it. And was very patient and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable through out the experience. 10/10 would recommend. I had some brake work done today. And he replaced a throttle body for my van and did such a good job. He was professional. He explained to me about everything and did it in a very timely manner. He knew I wasn't from the area and he knew that I lived in my van full time and he got me in and did a wonderful job working on it. I would certainly go back. They have taken care of all my automotive needs since I discovered them five years ago. Oil changes, brake changes, wheel bearings, etc. They're always timely in their work and very reasonable with pricing. They deserve five stars from me.

Brought my car in for preventative tune up ....was told that my catalytic convertor was shot because the engine had a problem ...took the car else where to put the convertor in and it still ran horrible...after another mechanic looked at it they found the ignition wires were crossed and that is what melted my convertor ..mind you the car had no running problems when I brought it in ..it was just maintenance...so after that was done it cost me another 1000 dollars to get the car running right again ...all from him not doing the tune up correctly

Went there for an oil change , I was in and out in 15 mins. Very professional and humble guys there. If you're around Verona, you should stop by here instead of Pep boys or any of those chain auto shops. Great service!

BEWARE! Do not bring your car here! Brought my car in for brake pad replacement and provided my own top of the line bosch brake pads. After the brake job was done my car just shakes so much when I break. Mind you, my car has barely 20k miles and did not have the problem prior to the brake job. They seemed to have messed up my rotors, but when I went back to them they refused to check it out and said 'we did what you asked us to do' and blamed it on the 'heat transfer from the new brakes' (since I provided them). Don't even bother to call them because 90% of the time they will not pick up. In such an upscale neighborhood I'd expect better. Do yourself and your car a favor and don't consider this business.

Joe is the best. One of the only mechanics I would ever trust with my car besides my dad. If you want something done right without being gouged on the price, go to Alberona
