If you don t want to get robbed don t go here. My husband went to get his light fixed witch the light already in hand and he overcharged making the job bigger than it was. Then a few days later the light doesn t work at all. If I could give 0 stars I would

horrid service gave the guy my car told him what wrong with it came back to le told me what i knew what was wrong with it and tried to rip me off for 800 dollars telling me i had a bad window motor and so he charged me 100 for absolutly nothing and then i take my car to another mechanic and it turns out my window motor is just fine and this guy just has no clue how to fix cars stay away from thiss scamm artest thankyou

Over priced me for changing one flat tire. And kept my car over a month and charged me two times for my engine lights just to not get it fixed I felt scammed. Definitely do not recommend this place. I would call in to check in my car and he never gave me an estimate on how long it was going to take and said he will call back and never did. I went to a different place and they fixed my engine lights in less than a week so this place is rigged.Services: Tires, Engine repair

I Stay away from this place.He overcharged and took advantage of my 17 years old son. When my son decided not to take his price he charged him with 170 dollars diagnostic fee and refused to give him the car unless he paid for it without telling him upfront about this fee.

I came in for an issue (forget what it was), but he fixed it for $800. It ran fine for a month and the same issue occurred. Brought it back in and he quoted me $3,200 at least for a fix. Alternatively he offered to purchase my truck for $500. I told him I needed to get a quote elsewhere. I brought my truck to car fast auto on union Ave in Rutherford and they fixed my truck for $200 (oil change included) and my truck has run well ever since. I feel that the owner at J & R was trying to rip me off as he sensed that I have no knowledge about auto repair. I don t have a good feeling about this guy and felt compelled to offer a review.

Ray is the most honest, brilliant mechanic I have ever gone to. He has been my mechanic for many years, upon the recommendations of neighbors. I have an 11 year old car, and it had a serious internal oil leak, and my car could not function in cold weather. It was not too easy to diagnose, but Ray did a great job! After changing manifolds, switches, etc., my car is running like a new car! I would never take my car anywhere else!

Hi everyone, I just had my car service at J n R Auto Repair and Ray the mechanic did a great job. The service was quick yet done right. The pricing was reasonable as well. I have already sent 3 new customers there.

Have taken all our family cars -- five at one time -- to J&R, Would not think of going anywhere else. He is honest and knows how to diagnose and perform repairs at a reasonable cost and quickly.

J and R Rutherford Service has been my family's mechanic for over 20 years. I would never think of taking my car anywhere else. Very trustworthy and great service.
