I own a local business in the area and one of my trucks went down, the transmission line blew in half and I was really worried my truck was going to be out for at least three weeks getting repaired. I brought my truck in they gave me a super fair price, and it was done the next day. The owner told me they prioritize small business vehicles, because they know how important it is to run our business with the vehicle. This is a very special place. I ve never felt prioritize bringing any car to any auto shop in my life. Thank you guys for everything and I really appreciate you getting me back on the road so quickly.

I had a horrible experience with them.Background info, the car they serviced does NOT have and oil leak and had been driven less than 4000 miles.My cars are normally serviced at the Acura Dealership, but the one time we used Mayo Auto Services, my daughter's car got the "Low Level Engine Oil" warning on our way back from a trip, so we pulled up to a gas station and I had to add 2 quarts of oil. I am glad I was with her to help her with this.I complained to them, the secretary was very nice, but the owner was rude and very unprofessional, to put it mildly.I was told by them that this is normal. I am not a mechanic, but to have to add two quarts of oil before the next oil change hasn't happened to any of my cars, so for me is not normal.The oil change/service itself was over $90, so it was not cheap, but the question I have is, was the car serviced properly? Was the right amount of oil added? I guess I would never know. All I know is that I will never go back to this shop. This could have easily cost me an engine.

Despite the negative reviews seen here I could not disagree more! I cannot thank their whole team for all their attention and excellent customer service.My Jeep was a mess, and Mayo was the THIRD shop I went to. They did a complete engine rebuild in a short amount of time to get me back on the road safely.Quality service may be pricier- but you get what you pay for!!!! If you want the job done right, go to Pete, Vince, Colleen and their amazing team!

Mayo quoted me $1,728 for ODB2 code read and to replace a bad AC/Heat blower motor and regulator. Mayo said it was a big job which was BS. I replaced the blower motor myself in 35 minutes (so easy) for only $40 in parts and the regulator was perfectly fine and didn t need to be replaced. However, I did get hosed for $359 for the ODB2 code read. Stay away from Mayo they are Crooks.Service: Auto maintenance

Terrible. Charge crazy amount for labor. I brought my car in to be looked at and they wanted 200 dollars for labor. What did the labor entail, you ask? It was them looking at the car just to tell me that it would cost 2000 for a new engine and that if I drove it off the lot it was going to explode. I paid the 200 labor fee and took my car. That car lasted me years after they tried to get that money out of me. I m a young girl who knows very little about cars. They saw an opportunity, and they took it. Don t go here. Bring your car to honest people you know.

I can not say enough good things about Mayo Auto! My wife and I moved to NJ from Boston close to four years ago and in the first couple of weeks I saw a TV commercial for Mayo Auto. I typically would bring my Mercedes to the dealership for service however something about the commercial grabbed my attention and I figured I would give the local shop the chance to earn my business. Well I will say it has been a great decision. The service, quality and honest business practices of everyone from the technicians, to the folks at the front desk, to the ownership is top notch. I have saved probably thousands of dollars bringing my vehicle here vs the Mercedes dealership and the quality of work hasn't suffered. In fact, while many will say I am crazy, even though I moved over an hour from here a year ago I still bring my car to Mayo even for something as small as an oil change because of that level of trust, loyalty and service that I receive. I am also not one to take the time to write reviews online as am very busy however I when you are lucky enough to find a gem of an organization such as Mayo Auto it deserves the time to write a review. I would give them 100 stars if the ranking would go that high. You will not be disappointed I guarantee it.

Started to bring my Fleet of vehicles to the folks at Mayo middle of last year. They are accommodating to my needs, priced fairly and keep me informed of any issues they might have. Anytime I call they are ready to take my appointment and get me in and out the door.Mayo does it all ! Tires, repairs, state inspections...even change broken handles on my vans. Couldn't be happier.

I set my appointment to have my vehicle front end aligned and dropped it off at 7:00am at 2:00pm they called me and said i needed new tie rods so they can di alignment at a cost of over $300.00 and i said forget it so i went to pick up my truck and then they wanted $50.00 for looking at it. I will warn everyone to stay away, they just want to rip you off. Took it to another place and they said there is nothing wrong with tie rods and then aligned it for $65.00 and it drives fine.

Spoke to Joe at the front office, used them for a pre purchase inspection for a used BMW. Price was reasonable, they were friendly and responsive. Service checked to make sure everything worked and no structural or mechanical issues. Wished they did a little more in terms of checking expensive, easy to view items, ie remaining brake life, etc., but not part of the service, my fault for not asking but felt it should have been included. End result was $1,500 brake/rotor repair from another center, but could have used the brake information to negotiate a better price from the seller of the car. I will not be coming back or referring them.

Great service. Pete is an engaged and honest owner. Gave us good feedback to help us make decisions on our repair. We ended up making the repairs with them and will bring in our other vehicles too.

Absolutely the BEST service around. Pete and his team are outstanding. They really understand how to diagnose the root of the issue and then they fix it quicker than any other service center I have been too. The pricing is honest and they always can take you right away!

I brought my BMW to this place because the engine light was on, and engine temp was running high, they charged me for diagnostic work, andthen they decided that I needed a water pump, the cost the cost, more than $1800.00I authorized the repairs, then picked up the car and couple of days later, the light was back on! now they claimed that the radiator had a tiny crack in it, there was mention of this before the water pump was replaced!I am taking this shop to court, and would no recommend it to anyone.

I have an old temperamental Audi TT that developed a weird electrical fault and unrelated check engine light.Not only did (Joe? - sorry forgot the managers name), actually write down the symptoms I described, they were printed on the work order I got back too. I don't think anyone has ever actually listened like that before.Then as the work progressed through the day they called me twice to clearly explain what diagnostics were being performed and what the status was.It took a few hours labor (not cheap but reasonable) and minimal parts to fix two tricky problems.I was extremely impressed with the process from end to end.Highly recommended.

Way over priced charge 122 dollars an hour!!!!!!!!!! Am on vaca and my car broke down took it there and had to spend 300 dollars that wasnt planned 244 dollars on labor!!! Just crazy in my eyes thank God it will never have to go back!!!! Would give 0 starts if I could!!! Thanks alot!!!!!! Then the guy that works there has the nerve to pretend like he cant HEAR me on the phone!!!

I got screwed for over $300 for an estimate. Going in I explained I would debate doing the work due to age of vehicle. No warning of the screwjob to come:( NEVER AGAIN

Don t take your car here one they over price because of the location. Two I left my Bmw there and 10 minutes later I saw the lady from the front office taking a joy ride. Never again visiting this place.

Shifter wouldn't go into gears- they said it's transmission- they said 2300 plus tax (used) and extra cost if they have to fabricate something. I said no. Charged me 130 for diagnosis (they never mentioned that at front desk). Took it to another place down the block- it was 2 bolts loosened up on shifter 100 bucks. Run for the hills, you've been warned!!!

Deceptive! Never go here, they ripped me off and charged me a ridiculous amount of money for an oil change and to tell me why my check engine light was on....$275!
