I am absolutely blown away by the work Dave did. If you are looking to get an after market radio, sound system upgrade, security system, or remote start, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Their prices are beyond reasonable and I am more than satisfied with the work he did. They are really good people with exceptional quality work. He completely fixed a headlight issue that I couldn t even diagnose and installed a touch screen for my car. I have the biggest smile on my face as I write this review. I cannot recommend him more highly!!

I installed a secondhand roof rack that came with four fog lights and was at a loss on how to effectively, cleanly, and safely add them. I called Pro Sound and within 3 hours, these were beautifully installed and working perfectly. Dave was great to work with, kind, and clearly loves what he does. The people here are detailed artists and I am very glad to have met them. Highly recommend!

This a brand new installation of amateur radio with HF bands (Yaesu FT 891). The photos don't do justice to the work performed. I will update you with new pictures. The installation includes a list of items1. Radio body installed under the seat2. Head unit wired extended and installed as shown in the picture.3. Head unit and mic is installed on the seat-mounted holder4. Two antenna holders with bonding and wired to the radio5. Bonding and grounding for the radio and antenna tuner.This is a high-end radio that requires accurate installations and measures every endpoint with various meters and I get excellent meter readings and very good radio wave propagation.The work is excellent in terms of look and feels and also accurate for excellent radio operation. I recommend Professional sound and security for all exotic radio installations in addition to their routine tasks.

Absolutely amazing. D and his team are solid. I had a reinstall and a couple of repairs done. They are quick and efficient with quality work. D is really knowledgeable about all the products and gave me some excellent recommendations on keeping my sound quality crisp. Pricing was more than fair. Definitely keeping this place as my go to for any future installs and recommendations.

I walked in with a bad install, I met with Dave who reassured me of the simple repair process and also let me know about some other issues i should keep an eye on in the near future, overall great customer service ,works really fast, and very knowledgeable on all products he sells . During 3 months I was searching for a good place to install my 3 way channel dash cam direct to my car battery for the parking mode stay on even with the car off. I went to different places including Professional Sound Security System. I learned that I have to look for 4 important things: Professionalism, Customer Service, Warranty and Price. In my journey I found cheaper price but nothing else, others no warranty, in others, I was treated bad because I am not an expert. I checked YouTube and trust me this kind of installations are not a game or something to figure it out because the electric part of your car is in the middle. When it comes to my car I prefer to pay a little extra but with peace of mind that everything will be fine. Professional Sound Security System have all the 4 things together. On Saturday 11/12/22 I went there. As soon as I arrived at the business, Dave treated me very well, as if I were a long time customer when he realized that I had no knowledge of installing the cameras, Dave was very gently and politely explained, how was the process; clear and transparent. When they finished the installation of the dash cam. He went above and beyond. He went with me to the car and explained in detail how the camera works, also to be sure that I was able to be comfortable with the lenses view. I have a warranty in the installation. I asked lots of questions and he answered all. Also, I can call him anytime with questions. I suggest to call in advance to make an appointment. But definitely my place to go.

Dave was a pleasure to work with. I had an entry level subwoofer installed which started causing rear deck / trunk rattles in my 2015 IS 250. He gave me a really good price for sound deadening my trunk and rear deck which have dramatically improved sound quality and reduction in rattles. He explained options I had in the future if I wanted to further improve my sound system. Great experience.

As OEM of a look as you can get. So grateful for Dave and his shop for getting this head unit and back up camera installed on my E92 BMW. Thank you for the friendly customer service and peace of mind. Will definitely be returning.

I had a bad experience with a audio installation in Union City, so this time I did my research and saw the reviews for this place. The name Dave kept popping up and I see why. I called to inquire a price for him to figure out why my lights were dimming from the previous installation and also add a new amp and subs I brought to replace the garbage I brought from the other place Dave told me to come to the shop after 3 so he can see what I have. I got there at 3:30 and my car was done before six. He explained everything to me in detail and didn t try to rob me.. System thumbs like crazy and I m beyond satisfied. I will definitely do business here again. Thank you Dave!

I had a very great experience and was very happy to meet Dave. Dave Walked through in detail my BMW explaining the poor Workman ship causing the problems with my surround sound system. He pointed out the problems and how unstable the connections were in my amplifier. Him and his staff went out of there way and fixed the head unit which was loose and connected improperly there where somethings that I didn t even mention that were taking care of. David was very nice informative and professional the work done was great. I am truly glad I was able to work with Dave this is definitely the place to drive the extra mile for work that needs to be done on your car. I will definitely be back for future upgrades.

This review should have been given in 2003 when I first brought my 97 Geo Tracker in to have a Stereo/CD player installed. As a single female you worry if you are being taken advantage of and Dave was extremely transparent with options and pricing making it a very pleasant experience. The installation was painless and the result awesome when my car finally died... MY STEREO STILL WORKED!My story does not end there for when I purchased my Audi TT 3.2 convertible I wanted to change out the radio and I was advised against it for there was no need How honest of you Dave!Today I paid Dave a visit for 4 years ago I purchased a vintage 94 Geo Tracker and the stereo that came with the car was not getting my SiriusXM signal. I said do I need a new radio for I am prepared to purchase one. Dave came right out sat in my car and said you do not need a new radio. He then painstakingly corrected the problem and I am again "Commercial Free"...Thank YOU Dave!Seeking a professional your search is over a true Jersey City treasure!Monique A 7/24/19

I selected Professional Sound & Security based on myriad positive reviews regarding Dave and his service and needless to say, he did not disappoint. As a matter of fact Dave was the consummate professional and I would highly recommend his services. Let s start with the fact that I know nothing about dash cams except from the research I ve conducted on the internet. I purchased a decent unit however I m astute enough to know my limitations when it comes to my technical prowess. I researched outfits within proximity which offer instalation and Professional Sound and Security in Jersey City was one of the closest to me. Dave was very accommodating when it came to scheduling an appointment and fit me right in; he even called to confirm on the day of. Upon arrival, he was very welcoming and gracious and provided me with options depending on my budget and needs. What I enjoyed most is he never pushed for more expensive routes, he simply adhered to what was best for me which I found to be very professional. Once the job was complete, he took the time to show me the features of the camera, and provided suggestions and things to look out for. If you are in the Jersey City area and in need of a front and rear dash cam installed professionally, look no further. Overall it was a stellar experience and I would highly recommend their services. Honestly this place is amazing. I came in on a Sunday (at 5PM) to have my infotainment screen changed with one that I bought online. Dave said they were closing in an hour but he would see if his mechanic could squeeze me in. Not only were they able to complete the work but they also did an incredible job. Highly recommend this shop to anyone that wants to be treated well and have their car handled with care.

The gentleman who helped us was quick, and exercised great service towards my dad and I. Must say, for the music my dad did in his car, and the purchase of the Sony radio my dad made... CHEAP! These guys are very negotiable, and experienced in their work. I trust my dad is appreciative of the work, and excited for the results while dealing with Professional Sound & Securitiy, Inc.

Had them install a new stereo into my car, and they did an excellent job. Provided good timely service at a competitive price. Dave and his team are very knowledgeable. They helped me throughout the whole process by constantly communicating and informing me of progress. Had no issues setting up an appointment and having the work done. I Have come back to them time and time again, definitely recommend.

Dave installed my front and rear dash cams in my Lexus. I had the cameras hardwired. I was able to come in the day after I called. The install was very clean, all the wires were tucked in nicely. He even moved my EZ pass per my request and cleaned my windshield. Price was competitive. He s also very approachable and easy to talk to. Overall, very happy with the install, highly recommend him for dash cam installation.

Awesome Experience with Professional Sound & Security, Inc. I called last week and they were able to get me on the schedule a few days later to replace my car's dashboard unit and install a back up camera. I needed to change dates at the last moment and they happily switched me to a later appointment and didn't make a fuss at all. Once I finally got my car into the shop it was a quick installation and they had me back on the road within 4 hours. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality work on their car's electronics!

Dave is an awesome guy. I am late on this review by a few years but I had purchased a Toyota Camry back in August of 2018 and needed a backup camera installed. It was a 2005 so obviously this was before they were standard. Called up Dave off a blind Google search and he said he'd handle it on the day. Went in on December 15th ok a Saturday afternoon and Dave took the car and installed a rearview backup camera inside 4 hours. All in was around $399 with labor and install and the actual product that Dave stands by.Suffice to say, I've been a very satisfied customer. It's been 4+ years and I've never had issues, and the backup camera was much needed in an ever crowded Jersey City. Many thanks Dave and I fully recommend anyone reach out to him for any needs related to stereo, remote starter, backup camera installs. He's an honest broker with a great local business.

Upgrade my radio and added remote starter on my car.They did a great job.Going back to have them put in dash cam front and back have them fix some wires.lucky to have found this place.Another place I went to made a mess with my wires.owner listen to you and works with you to get the job done the right way

In my experience working with these guys I can truly say it was well worth it!! They get to work on your vehicle with whatever you need almost immediately. I got my remote starter and backup camera installed 7 months ago and have had no issues with either. Highly recommend this place!

Met Dave, really great guy, installed a stereo I bought from amazon and then installed a reverse camera. Gave me great advise, this guy definitely knows what he's doing and his pricing seems pretty fair to me. 100% would go again and recommend to others! 10/10

Had an after factory call alarm installed and the quality of work is outstanding! The understanding and knowledge of the products they sell and install is 10 out of 10. They went above and beyond to help me with some issues I had with my key fab and making me understand how my alarm worked before I left their shop. I just can't say enough about their knowledge of products or there installs. recommend this company 100%

Hands down, had the best experience in my auto accessory needs. I came in just looking to get an upgrade from my factory radio. I was presented all the possible options, details on each of the installations, pricing, additional features that could be added, and timing for completions. Other than coming in the prior week just to get all the input, my new stereo system was installed in about 2 hours, was shown how to operate the system, and out the garage enjoying my music.
