Steve & Simon are great. You can see how busy the place is, with people trusting them to take care of their rare, exotic foreign automobiles, yet they really took their time to explain the analysis of what my Range Rover GT Sport Limited edition needed thankfully not complete air suspension/just rear which fixed the suspension fault indicator. It drives like a dream now. I trust them immensely, and will be returning 100%.

Simon & Steve at G & T are the best. Truly great, kind, helpful people! Fair prices, excellent service, and quick/efficient work. I had my catalytic converter stolen off my Passat, but they fixed me up so quickly and took a stressful situation and made me feel taken care of. I even brought it back for a touch up on the replacement and they didn t charge me! truly stand up guys with an excellent establishment! Would wholeheartedly recommend!

Can't recommend G&T enough for those of who drive a classic Mercedes. Took my 560SL in for a couple of suspected issues. They investigated both of those plus gave it a once-over and reported back with their diagnoses on the reported issues and everything else they found. They even categorized their findings by level of importance based on how I expect to drive it. I greatly appreciate their knowledge of and passion for these cars as well as their honest and friendly customer service. This will be the only shop that touches my car as long as they're around.

They are very professional and friendly and they know what they doing. I deal with Simon, he's smart and i trust his opinion ( he may change something now for $1 to prevent you to fix it later and cost $100) always i recommend to maintenance your car even if there is nothing wrong with it. To prevent a bigger issue. Thank you Simon and thank you everyone work in the shop .

I cannot thank G & T enough. I bought a secondhand Mini Cooper and it started to act up after two months. Engine light was on, shaking when started. Both Simon and Steve are very professional. They ruled out all the possible problems and get my car fixed. Life gets much better with a working car, and I feel rested since I know this is the shop I will take my car if it runs into other issue. Thank you thank you!

This place is great! Don t go to the dealer and pay more when G&T can service your luxury cars properly.Made my first appointment after reading great reviews about them. Service- Oil Change & filter for my 2019 Mercedes Benz .I was a little nervous since this was a new place for me. I Met Simon and spoke to him for a little bit. Really cool conversation. He knows his cars.I waited and the work was done pretty quickly; Steve even showed me the dirty engine air filter I needed. Lots of shops don t even do that (even the dealer) or even explain why they are doing it. They use OEM parts - so nothing to worry about.They are both pleasent guys and seem to run their business in a friendly and professional manner; that s why they have lots of positive reviews. If you have a question or concern about a service they have no trouble in answering them and making you feel comfortable.Their prices are great and let s face it a lot better than the dealers cost. I m glad I went here. Looking forward to future maintenance services on my cars. Steve and Simon do a great job! Thanks guys!Service: Oil change

I would 100% recommend this place. In addition to doing good work, this place is very honest and genuine. There have been times when I was technically due for something, but they actually asked how I use my car, etc, and based on my situation, they gave me recommendations to wait to get things replaced. Additionally, they are very thorough in answering questions and there are no surprises.I'll definitely continue to come here!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Excellent place to get your European car worked on! He was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and reasonable. I am so glad I finally found a good shop that can service my foreign car. Definitely recommend, he even works on Smart cars!

Definitely will become my go-to spot for any work on my Audi. I recommend the same for BMW/ Mercedes owners. Steve and the crew were super knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I was able to drop off my car and pick it up same day! I trust them completely for my bmw. I ve been going to them for about 2 years now and they ve helped me navigate owning my first bmw, and all of the maintenance and care that these cars require. G&T has been flexible when they can be, they ve even squeezed me into their busy schedules for a quick check when surprises come up with the car.As a woman so many other shops I ve found to be condescending and dismissive but at G&T they re always helpful and honest - they explain everything thoroughly and only charge me for what I really need.

This has to be one of the best shops around. I ve come to them twice and both tomes they ve treated me with care and had my genuine best interests at hand. The first time I described the issues I had which were unfortunately out of the scope of their services, but Steve recommended me to a shop focused on the issue I was having and it was one of the best repair jobs I ve had done.The second time my car was experiencing a skipping issue when accelerating. Steve and Simon both took my car for a ride and were able to identify the issue at hand. They broke down exactly what was wrong, the options I had, and even gave me some great advice about what I could do.If you re someone scouring Google to find a shop in JC that you can trust, just go talk to these guys - they are very knowledgeable and honest people. Can t recommend enough!

Steve is amazing and G&T Auto Imports has amazing customer service. I'm out of state and needed a PPI for a used car. Steve and team did a great job, covered every area that I was looking for. I had a very specific concerns and needed a deep dive into the engine. They did this, allowing me to be assured I knew what I was buying. If they were closer it would be my new shop. Don't think twice, got to Steve and Simon at G&T.

This is a Certified BMW Mechanic. They are fair quick and stand by their work and guarantee it. So if you re tire of traveling to Bloomfield and Rt. 22 BMW. Say local and give qualify repair shops some business. You won t regret it! I travel from Downtown JC for my oil changes that are quick and efficient.As for Simon and tell him I sent you. I came across Simon and Steve at G & T via a recommendation from a fellow G Wagon owner, while I was looking for someone reputable in the NYC tristate area to help me fix my G wagons. I dropped the cars off with them and they put together a list of items needed to fix - both essential & non-essential. We agreed on the work to be done and 2 weeks later everything was finished, exactly as agreed. Simon & Steve were extremely accommodating, courteous, and honest. Overall truly a pleasure to work with. This is coming from a person who owns 5 cars and works with mechanics regularly. Great place to get work done on your european car. I only take my BMW here. The brothers that run this place are very trustworthy. One time they gave me to potential estiments depending on the cause of an issue. One was $300 the other over $2,000. I told them they had my permission to do whatever was necessarry and it was the $300 problem. If they were dishonest they could have lied and charged me over $2k.

These guys are the only reason I own a Mercedes or would recommend anyone to own one. I have known Steven and Simon for 9 years plus, and in that time I've been very thankful for everything they do. I've moved from JC to NYC to LI, but there's nowhere else I'm going to take my car but to these brothers. The pricing is fair, the work is great, and both Steve and Simon always explain my options clearly so that we are on the same page about what needs to be done. They know their stuff and there is never any sleazy, unnecessary repairs/work undertaken. Can't say enough good things. Been bringing my 06 X3 here since 2018. G&T Bros are always honest and give the best advice they can even if it s hard to hear. Crashed my X3 and they helped me get back on the road. Now here with my new to me 11 GLK and getting it looked over as they will be servicing it until I m not driving it anymore. Grateful as always.

G&T Auto is a family-owned premiere auto repair facility with a primary focus on European and foreign cars. For over a decade, I have brought my vehicles here for repairs and servicing. The shop is maintained by two brothers, Simon and Steve, who are both extremely competent and meticulous. Combined, they have more experience than most dealerships. Each repair job is done with the utmost professionalism and is always completed in a timely manner. They ensure all their repair work is top grade and meets top industry standards. The best part is my bill is normally about half the price that would be charged by a dealership. Additionally, Simon and Steve are honest, easygoing, and treat their customers like family. The repair shop is also an official New Jersey private inspection facility and can assist customers with the motor vehicle inspection process. After many years of positive experiences and high quality repair work at consistently fair prices, it is without hesitation that I highly recommend G&T Auto for all your auto repair and maintenance needs.

For the 3 years that I lived in Jersey City, I used G&T to take care of my 2003 Mercedes. These guys are great and very reasonably priced. They often did little things for free and kept my car in great shape. Steve and Simon know their stuff, and are great guys, and I can only hope to find a similar shop in my new town.

They do great work! And are very very nice and as accommodating as possible! And very fair on price. Ive been to other mechanics who were never as good! the last one forgot to put the fan back on and I ended up over heating just as I got out of the holland tunnel!!! I willOnly bring my mini Cooper to them for any repair. Don t let the 1-2 bad reviews stop you.They are really really great!

I took my 2016 Audi to the dealership as the check coolant light came on. They charged me 200 bucks for diagnostics and a gazillion bucks more for the fix. Brought to G&T, they took a look and fixed it for a fraction of that. They were transparent about the cost and were prompt about delivery. G & T Auto mechanics are very honest and the prices are reasonable. They actually recommended NOT to have a service done on my Mercedes until it was due in 80,000 miles. The owner is very knowledgeable and they have excellent customer service. I will be going back for all of my car needs.

Had a mirror stolen from my BMW 4series...got three different quotes before finding Simon at G&T. Will never take my car anywhere else. Honesty can be found...glad I found this shop as he saved 75% what everyone else had quoted by replacing only what was required. Greatly appreciated!!

Although Steve seems like a very nice guy, the individuals he employs aren't trust worthy. I started bringing my BMW to their shop for various repairs, and every time a part would be either swapped or missing. It started with the wheel caps, they swapped the new ones for old ones. I didn't mind it at first, but then the metal plate under the Transfer case was missing altogether. I assumed it had fallen somewhere, but when my current mechanic pointed out that it doesn't fall by itself unless you purposely remove it, I realized they had stolen it at G & T.On one occasion I brought my car to have the PCV changed, which they did. But the moment I rolled out of the shop, I got a check engine light. I told them right there and then and Simon cleared it, instead of being honest and telling me what was happening. The check engine light came back a couple of days later... Upon reading the codes with my scanner, I got several Valtronic system codes. Turns out they had tampered with the Valvetronic shaft sensor (during the PCV job) by loosening one of the screws just enough so the sensor would go bad soon and need replacement. They quoted me at over $2,000 for that Valvetronic job alone. I had it fixed somewhere else for nearly half the price.Which brings me to the next point: they're overly expensive compared to other local shops that work on BMWs. An oil change, for comparison purposes, will cost you $120 there (and they use cheap oil). The PCV job cost me almost $2,000. My current mechanic does the same job for less than $1,200. They also will sell you after market parts but tell you they are OEM, or original BMW parts.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change
