The best, most honest auto repair around! Route 23 Nissan told me I needed $1,600 worth of maintenance. I took my car to Tom s, and $174 later I was good to go.

I can't say enough good things about Tom and his team in Glen Rock. Just unbelievably thorough, honest, and goodhearted work from him and everyone on his team through-and-through. Everything here has a personal and professional touch - from driving your car with you to make an initial diagnosis, to the calls from the administrative team with updates on when your car will be ready. Tom always gives a clear diagnosis and for a more than fair price.This morning, right before my girlfriend and I were to set out on a long road trip through New England, we started hearing an unpleasant popping noise from the bottom of our car. Tom not only fit us in day-of, but quickly found the issue (a loose sway bar), and didn't even charge us for the repair since in his opinion, it was a small one. It's a relief knowing there are still mechanics like this in the world.

Tom's Auto Repair of Glen Rock is the best of the best when it comes to quality care and customer service. We moved to town a little over three years ago and needed to find a mechanic quick as my husband and I both had older-ish cars. We are so happy we found them and have used them for repairs and regular service checks ever since; they are our go-to. Tom and his team are eager to help when mechanical problems arise, and once the problem is diagnosed, you know you're in good hands. I had a very tricky electrical problem that several mechanics had looked at and could not solve. Tom and his mechanic troubleshooted and solved the issue in a couple of hours! Tom is a straight shooter and very well respected. It feels good to have someone in your corner and Tom is that mechanic. Highly recommended.

Simply amazing...My aunt was visiting from DE with her Jeep Patriot and han a loud noise coming from her front end. I'm a shadetree mechanic, and it sounded like a wheel bearing. Unfortunately, I am also visiting family from GA and didn't have tools to help her.I found Tom via the awesome reviews on Google Maps, and he was happy to help us quickly.Final result... They put it up on the lift, and found that the lug nuts were loose from a previous Delaware shop working on the car.Tom could have charged us anything for a unnecessary replacement... Ball joints, control arm bushings, wheel bearings, etc.Want to know what he charged for tying up space in his yard and lift for 2 days? NOTHING. ZILCH. That's freaking amazing and so honest. We did throw the tech that did the work a tip.And honest mechanic is a valuable commodity. Tom definitely fits the bill and then some. My aunt wishes she'd learned of him years ago.
