Very knowledgeable, reliable but affordable repair shop with dealership quality. George is always courteous, attentive with on point diagnosis and swift repair services. Grateful to have found George and this Volvo repair shop! Would recommend it without any hesitation!

As of today I am officially out of the Volvo business. However, the 06 S60 that I have been driving for the past 7 years was purchased from and serviced at Pro Vo Vo for every maintenance need. These guys do exceptional work and are honest when it comes to what your car needs and cost. These guys are the reason I was able to keep the car going! Big thanks to the whole Pro Vo Vo team.

So, I have been taking my 2 Volvos here on and off for about 4 years. I generally go here for repairs that my local shop cannot perform. Initially didn't have any issues but things proceed to get progressively worse upon each visit. So as to not make this a long winded review I had my catalytic converter replaced with a used unit assuming from another vehicle they had on the lot. I was not aware this wasn't legal to do but it would save me the full price of having new unit installed. Fast forward to now the P0420 code returns, approximately a year later. I called to have them look up my repair records to see if it's still within the warranty time frame I could get it replaced. I called multiple times to remind them I was still waiting on an answer. I never go out of my way to leave a bad review but this is certainly warranted. I also don't appreciate the snippy response from the owner the first time I called when asked if he had a minute to talk about the issue. "Make it quick"?! Who talks that way to a repeat customer?! I gave them every opportunity to resolve this with me.

Pro Vo Vo did an amazing and AMAZINGLY priced job on my Volvo 940 Turbo. They charge a great rate and did some other small, but important fixes free of charge. Great team of mechanics. I was pleased with the service that George, the owner provided on my P1800. However, I have been trying to follow up with him for over two months about additional work needed. the pat answer I get when I call is He is busy and cannot come to the phone . None of my calls have been returned. His office staff must have changed. I find the person answering the phone to be indifferent and unresponsive. This was a good place to bring your Volvo. NowI am not so sure.Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair, A/C installation & repair

My family has been going to George for years now. When I bought my first Volvo, I went to him as well and have been with ProVoVo ever since. He has the best prices anywhere. Takes good care of my 89 740 turbo.

Drive one hour specifically since it s a Volvo expert shop the older gentleman seemed to be annoyed with me even discussing what s wrong with the car, also pointed out that there is only one mechanic working drop it in a week from now and it could take 2 days or 2 weeks so much for a Volvo expert I expect to hear that from a rookie mechanic who needs time to figure out with wrong with the car not a shop that ONLY works on Volvos, definitely a waste of 2 hours of my life, pulled into a Volvo dealer within 30 mins I was told what was wrong with the car how long it will take and a better attitude.

This Volvo specialized auto shop was recommended to my wife. We moved from a car dealer place to this place and what a saving and better services. This summer I was driving our VOLVO and the car was blowing hot air so I detoured to the shop and asked Karen for help to fix the AC. She had it done by George. That s service. Thanks Karen and George. I think Marty helped us on a bigger job-the circuits in the dashboard.

I cannot believe the level of disrespect my Husband and I received from this place after being highly recommended from a very close friend of ours.The alternator went on our Volvo xc60 which is under warranty. We called pro vovo to see if they would accept the warranty and process before even having it towed to them. They assured us we were in good hands and would confirm it was our alternator by the end of the day which they didn't uphold. I called and they said they would call me back and didn't until day 2.We gave them our warranty information and were told we would hear back after they hear from the warranty company. 5 days later they say our warranty won't cover the service. I call my warranty company to find out why and they say the claim was just put in that day and they will cover the service but pro vo vo wants to use an 800 dollar part as appose to a lesser part that is comparable from rock auto which is a very reliable online parts store might I add.. I proceed to call pro vo vo back and that's when the attitude switched and the complete nasty came out. I asked them to not do the exact part that the warranty would cover but a slightly more expensive one because I was familiar with the company and we would pay the difference. They became very nasty and flat out said they will not order the part, we would have to order it if we want them to put it in and they will not warranty the part or labor if we go this route and put the cheaper part on. So, being that we just bought this car 2 months ago I called my dealer to see if he would do the job because I purchased the warranty from him and he will. We decided to have it towed to our dealer... So now after calling pro vo vo to let them know our decision they got even nastier and said they won't release our car until we pay them 53 dollars for putting our car on the computer and then hung up on me when I questioned why when they already knew what was wrong before getting it. So now I am paying for a tow again, and for confirming what we already knew was wrong & loosing a week..Mind you they don't know our business or even need to know, but we've gone through a lot after the loss of our son a month ago and everything even leading up to his loss.. With so much going on in our lives right now we didn't need this added stress.. So please forgive me for sounding like a complaintive customer because this is not that.I rarely write bad reviews and go out of my way to write good ones because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and try to support small businesses. I read their reviews and honestly thought this was going to be a great experience until it wasn't..Maybe if you go with whatever they recommend and want to do, things work out for you but I have never ever been so appalled over the absolute disrespectful conduct of a place and just flat out terrible customer service in my life.. And I have been in the customer service and quality assurance field for years... Just so sad to see..I honestly hope they get it together and do better because this is not the way you treat people..

I have been using the services at Pro Vovo for almost 20 years and 4 Volvos so far. George and his staff are the most honest people I have ever met. The outstanding service they have provided to me over the years have been rendered with honesty and great savings as compared to any dealer. You will not be disappointed !

Been using him for years with various Volvos we've had. Bought a car from him as well.Decent honest people you can trust.......reasonable. Highly recommended. If you have a Volvo there's no need to go anywhere else.

I have used ProVolvo for more than 15 years and never had a problem with them. They are very honest and provide great service. I have recommended them to many Volvo car owners and they too were satisfied with the service.

Mechanics there are professional & helpful. You can save a lot of money by bringing your car there instead of the Volvo dealership. I felt sure my Volvo was in good hands there.

George is the best, top notch always and honest. I have been bringing my 2011 C30 for years now and he always looks out for you. On 105k miles and will keep on bringing it to him until I hit 300k.

I've had 4 different high-mileage Volvos serviced at Pro VoVo and they've always been great! Very honest, reasonably priced. Work is always done promptly and professionally.

My 2011 XC90 is getting old (150k miles) and never needed any service, but I wanted to see how the car is doing to decide whether to keep it. I dropped the car for an oil change and evaluation. Eric went over the car and discussed it with me. He explained many of the options and potential issues with me. He spent more time with me than all other mechanics in my lifetime combined! He also really knows these cars from relevant experience. He also didn't give the attitude that the car is old so I should just give it up and didn't try to sell unnecessary services. For all the time he spent on my car, the charges worked out equivalent to an oil change anywhere else! I will be back there to maintain my car there and give it a long life.

They handle business very unprofessionally. I made an appointment for Friday on a Wednesday brought it in at the time of opening. I had to repeatedly check in with them for them to lie to me about when it would be worked on not once but twice. It was untouched by the following Wednesday. I'd only recommend going here if you want rude service and wasted time.

Scarily similar story to the previous post but my family has been using Provovo for maintenance for over 20 years. My family trusts George with anything, he has made every car - 4 of them - we brought him stay in pristine condition well past their life expectancy and never have we had any troubles whatsoever. The quality and knowledge behind the team that works at Provovo is unbelievable and above everything else they are good honest people.
