Meeting Matt's for the first time I seen the honesty in his eyes and also felt it when we shake hands God send he's a Diamond in the Ruff not many left like him and I truly highly recommended Matt's Auto Repair

Been to many mechanics in the area around sussex county, matt is by far the best all around good pricing, amazing work, gets the vehicle in and out as quickly as possible. Super nice guy. Has worked on my American cars and foreign cars don't have a single complaint! 5 STAR

I am new to the area and was looking for a reputable mechanic to look at my car. Matt was honest and didn t come up with a list of things to be fixed as other larger chain automotive places do. I will definitely be using Matt from now on! Highly recommend!

My Dad has taken his car to Matt's multiple times and has been pleased with his service every time. He does quick quality work for decent prices. I'll most likely bring my own car there when I need something done.

Matt is the best. Had my car fixed very fast and did such a great job. Very reasonable prices and super friendly. This is the only place I will use from now on. Even though I am still under warranty at the dealership, I would rather go to Matt.

Matt is such a good dude. I have used his shop for 10+ years. He goes above and beyond in trying to figure out what and issue is and he doesn't stick it to you for the prices. Every other place around needs to take notes on how to treat customers. If I have any problem, even something as small as an oil change, I go here. I absolutely will not allow anyone else to work on my vehicles anymore. Every single time Matt has solved/found the problem and has charged me less BY FAR . If i could give this more than 5 stars I wouldServices: Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

Having been to a few other shops in the area, there is a reason Matt's Auto has such positive reviews. The prices, friendliness, and quick service are all way better than the area. On more than one occasion they have gone out of their way to not only inform me when other repairs need to be done to prevent further damage, but also to tell me when I don't need repairs. That is something unique as most shops just want your money. That is the reason I will keep coming back. Great shop, great people, great prices, can't ask for anything better in the area!

Very professional, accommodating and efficient shop. The owner, Matt was a pleasure to work with and I felt the cost of the repair quite reasonable. Repair cost would likely have been double at the the dealership. My mechanic of 30 years recently retired and I was hesitant to find a replacement, but am very happy to have given Matt's a try. Will definitely return!

Matt's always been good with my vehicles. Always gives me all the news and prices upfront, he's one of the most honest mechanics I've met. Never have I ever had a problem after anything he's fixed or changed for me.

Craftsmanship and honesty are the 2 words to describe Matt and his workers and those qualities are sorely missing these days. I do a lot of my own work on my vehicles but there's just things that I don't know and that's when I bring it to Matt's Auto. He's never disappointed me. He keeps constant contact when he runs into additional problems and his prices are very fair compared to others. More importantly is he gets the job done correctly and has great pride in his work. I brought my car in one time for what I thought was a broken axle and he straight up told me my axle was fine saving me $$. I won't consider taking more vehicles to any other shop in my area and there are plenty around. His whole crew is motivated and when Matt was on vacation I received the same treatment from James as far as price and quality. 6* for these guys. John

This place is like finding a unicorn. An honest mechanic. I have had many repairs done here over the years. Recently brought in a car. He told me, "I can repair this for $1200.... but don't do it. the car is junk and rotten completely underneath." He could have taken my money. But chose to be honest that the car was not worth fixing.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

Called Matt's place, he gave me an approximate time to come in, which is great. I arrived at 10, car was on the lift at 10:05. Friendly guys seems like I'll be coming here for things I can't fix in my garage.I'm a repeat offender at this shop and these young men run a great outfit. I left my wife's car for a week as we went on vacation and Matt kept communication open every time he needed to do something. Very reasonable and understanding. All my cars are coming to this place for all major work.

Very honest and knowledgable. I called Matt when I broke my wheel lock key. In 15 minutes he removed the old locks and put on a fresh set. He really saved me. 10/10 would recommend for any auto repair work.

Dropped off for an AC compressor to be replaced and they got the job done quickly. I provided my own oem parts so I can't really tell you about their supplier. Some concerns...A) the parking lot is a mess, dirt and gravel and my car was covered in garbage from the trees. B) I had to come in for them to recharge the unit a 2nd time because they missed a leak...that I had to pay for. So take that as you will with your car.

Matt's Auto Repair is a nice garage with reasonable prices. I have had work done to my vehicle on a few occasions and was satisfied with the quick turnaround and the bill. My last experience wasn't so great. I had a major oil leak going on with one of my vehicles, to the point where there was only a quart of oil left after the car had been parked overnight. I dropped off the car to the shop, noticed that the lot had been PACKED, which I felt pretty happy for the business to take off as it did. The following afternoon I had received a call from service to let me know my car was checked over and that they couldn't find an issue. Thought it was pretty odd that 3qt of oil goes missing so fast. Guy on the other end says my type of car is notorious for eating oil - but 3qts?? Went to the shop and the car sat exactly where I had left it. Brought the car home, crawled under it and found the entire underside from the motor back coated and dripping with oil from driving (how could they miss this??). I had to do a little bit of research with Google and Youtube to do my own diagnostics. Pulled off the tire to access the front of the motor and saw the oil leaking from the oil pump gasket. Confirmed it when I put more oil in. This was not a minor leak by any means. I called Matt's Auto Repair back, pretty fuming - explained the situation and had to pay to tow the vehicle at this point (Lake Hopatcong to Franklin). They made it right and repaired all the gaskets, the water pump, timing chain, etc. Three months later, oil began leaking from the head cover gasket that they just replaced two months prior to the above incident. I'd rate this a 5 but the leaking head cover gasket put the icing in the cake. The service here is great but not on a busy day.

Wouldnt go anywhere else ! He could have taken us for a ride many times but he is honest as the day is long and is very fair with his prices !! Go there, you wont be sorry ! Thanks Matt !

Matt has done a few repairs on my Jeep Liberty. I have had nothing but good experiences there and I would recommend their shop to anyone.
