Accutrans is a great place to take your vehicle for repairs/maintenance. They are always pleasant, helpful, honest, fair upfront pricing, professional. Always respectful of you the person (they will explain the problem/required repair so that you understand the entire situation) also respectful of your time/scheduling. They will also shop for the best price/most economical way to get the job done. My Dad was an auto mechanic & rebuilt engines, cars were big part of my life so I m cautious of who cares for my vehicles & I am very comfortable with Chris, Larry & Carmine- (all my compliments apply to all the guys) thank you Bill-you have a great crew!!

After having my transmission fluid serviced at Accutrans, my 2008 Accord drives like a new car. Customer experience was great and the staff was very informative. I understand now that the best way to service the transmission on any car is drain and fill. Also, they use the recommended OEM transmission fluid. Parking lot is always full so plan ahead.

If you need anything done, you re in a bind, or have been putting off that oil change, seriously, look no further. I m a newcomer from Minnesota, and these guys are a home run in both work completed and customer care. I recently brought my truck in for a full transmission rebuild. I ve never been to a mech shop nor been more eager to want to give my hard earned dollar to.These guys, specifically Chris, have been an absolute pleasure to work with. You ll get an honest appraisal of what you need to get done with no extra toppings that the dealerships or competitors will try to flavor with what you came in for.Even if it s something as simple as an oil change or lines replaced, do them a favor and drop your vehicle off with them. Well deserved and you ll thank me later.

Wow! True master mechanics a full service integrated garage for the longevity of our vehicles!!!They are gear head warriors that not only take on the larger more complex diagnostics and repairs that require a mastery skill level of technicians but they seek to build trust and have clients return for years to come rather than quick easy fixes.They have serviced 5 of our vehicles over 20 years So grateful to see shops like this still exist!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic

I've been taking my cars here to Chris for a few years now. Three different cars. I travel from Andover to go here because I know I can trust him and the price is always reasonable. He always takes the time to diagnose even the weirdest things is friendly and always manages to get things done when they are over booked. My cars have always been fixed correctly the first time.

I can't say enough good things about Chris and Bill from Accutrans, they are friendly, fix the problem fast, accurately and also they are reasonably priced.First I had them fix a leaking trans tail seal, which is still dry to this day and this time they replaced the water pump idler pulley and serpentine belt.Friendly, fast and prices right, Worth a 5 Star review.....Stephen D.Service: Transmission

Very bad service went there about 3 weeks ago with my car with a bad transmission and I have car shield so they said that they called and never did and finally after 2 weeks they called and were supposed to send pictures and info to car shield and never did so after all of the calling back and forth we have our car back unfixed and will be going to a different shop

Very honest mechanic. I thought I had a transmission problem and was recommended this place by Mavis after an oil change. Originally I had my car scheduled for an appointment for Thursday but Chris was able to look at it Wednesday as I had issues the evening before so I needed it towed. Long story short, Chris told me it wasn t the transmission and fixed what needed to be done to get my car back on the road! Accutrans has a new customer! Whenever I have an issue with my car I always bring it here. They are honest, fair and reasonably priced. I know nothing about cars and I can always trust that my vehicle is in good hands. They thoroughly explain any repairs that need to be made and why to help you to understand. And the turn around time is quick so you can get back on the road!

I highly recommend this shop if you live in the area or have an emergency while driving through! I m not from the area but had an emergency while driving up to Sussex county and Chris came to my rescue. I know nothing about cars so when I walked in, in a panic he was very helpful to my emotional state and the state of my car. I was very grateful to be back on the road in no time! Used this garage plenty of times! Chris is someone you can rely on , had minor repair done and he didn t even charge me,will always give you your best option,very knowledgeable machanic .mentioned accutrans to co-worker and found out he s been using them for years.I highly recommend them! These guys are great and bent over backwards to help me with replacing the trans in my 2015 Chevy Silverado! Nice friendly knowledgeable guys. Clean shop and efficient scheduling. I knocked off one star because I dropped off my car at the scheduled time of 8am. They were going to troubleshoot the problem and let me know what they found, but they weren't able to do that until near the end if the business day. Fortunately I didn't need the car that day but had I know what the problem was earlier I could have picked it up that day as well as ordered the part.Not a big deal and I'll definitely go there again the next time I need transmission and I think they do exhaust there as well.

Had my 2017 gmc sierra in for a transmission rebuild they got me back on the road fast and efficiently. The truck drives better now then when i bought it brand new. I highly recommend these guys if u need a transmission rebuild. They also reamber you by your name and that to me means a lot.

I came to Chris and the guys at Accutrans with my 2014 Mazda 3 having terrible engine noises(metal on metal), I had already done a lot of review on the car and presented everything I knew so far to Chris. They took that info and quickly realized the engine was done for. After a short search they found me a new (used) engine and replaced my old one, then they changed the oil and thoroughly tested the car afterwards. I've had it for over 3 months at this point and she runs beautifully. I've gone for hundreds if not thousands of miles with the new engine and everything is running perfectly. I will always trust the guys at Accutrans to do a solid job and not cut corners! Thank you again to Chris and the guys there!

Worst shop I've ever experienced. Took my 2011 dodge journey here for a mechanical noise to be inspected(which later found was a broken flywheel) this place changes my alternator and and recharged my AC unit, charges me $1,300 and return my vehicle to me with the flywheel still broken. Thank God for having friends who are mechanics who inform you of accurate information!! I bring my vehicle back to accutrans with proof of the flywheel being broken(pictures) and verification from 2 different certified mechanics and they still tried telling it wasn't the flywheel...lol Thanks for a $1,300 alternator definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Friendly, informative and reliable. Honest owner will give you information up front and cost. He guarantees his work but no one I know ever had to go back to have it fixed again. One of the few places up here you can rely on for a good job.

Bill and team took excellent care of my truck and kept me informed of what was going on. Bill always answered the phone and took time to answer all of my questions in depth.I had my transmission serviced at another local trans shop and lets face it, you have to take the mecahnincs word that what was replaced was replaced with the parts you were told. The average person is not able to look inside the trans to be sure. Come to find out I was burned by the other shop. Bill figured out what was wrong, explained what was being done and reviewed the parts going in the trans with me.Bottom line is, if you need transmission work and need an honest mechanic, look no further than Accutrans!

I recently had a new clutch, flywheel and other repairs done on my 5 speed 1993 F-150 transmission WOW! What a difference My transmission had been severly slipping. Now the truck runs so smoothly I had never really used 5th gear before as 4th was where any power came from. It rides like a new truck and shifts though the gears beautifully. I would highly recommend their work!
