I would 100% recommend Montoya for any car service. They literally do EVERYTHING plus very Affordable. Unlike other mechanics & mechanic shops, they do not try to run game or take advantage of their customers. The owner is very up front, organized & friendly. I recently got into a car accident where my back bumper was completely OFF. Montoya was able to make time for me to come in & look at my car along with other damages. The owner gave me an estimate timeframe that the car will be repaired within a day and a half. But the car ended up being ready same day. For example, I drop the car off at 7 AM And was able to pick it up by 2 PM ..Make a long story short if you re looking for something affordable and have the job done correctly, I will recommend coming here.

I brought my Nissan Frontier to Montoya Tires. The frame where my hitch is bolted on to had rusted and broken the bumper. A the frame had to be re-built to replace all the rusted section so we could attach the hitch for our trailer. I took the car to 3 other shops, and everyone rejected the work. Montoya tires came up with a plan and soldered on a new frame as well as replaced the hitch and the bumper. Everything looks right out of the factory with even additional supports for us to tow our heavy trailer. Do it once, do it right!!!

Absolute nightmare of a mechanic total scam with a facade of competence. This guy s a walking disaster, his face lined with the marks of deceit and a nose that tells tales of past run-ins; clearly, he s messed with the wrong people before, but hasn t learned. His so-called mechanic skills are laughable; he s just the ringleader in a circus of incompetence, depending on his clueless team to do the heavy lifting. My experience? A horror story three vehicles, two transmissions destroyed, and an engine blown right after his services . Smells like sabotage. He must ve thought I was an easy mark, letting my truck run dry after a simple oil change and expecting me to come crawling back. Dreaming of running a used car dealership next door, but that s a joke the town can t stand him, and now neither can I. Trying to get a refund was like negotiating with a brick wall, only less productive. Promised me $800 back like it was a game, but guess what? Nothing. He s living in a fantasy, thinking he can scam his way through life, but not on my watch. This guy is a parasite, feeding off anyone unlucky enough to roll into his lot. If you value your vehicle, your sanity, and your hard-earned money, steer clear of this so-called mechanic. It s more than just bad service; it s a calculated rip-off. He s banking on people s ignorance and desperation, but this ends now. I m spreading the word far and wide this is not just a bad review, it s a warning. He s hit rock bottom, digging himself deeper with every shady deal and every ruined engine. Trust me, the only thing this guy should be fixing is his attitude and his nonexistent ethics. Stay away, and save yourself the trouble and the inevitable loss. He s a leech that s bled his last victim The thing he don t know is that I make seven figures I have business partners more than just one, and I did my research on him find out that he s in serious debt. He owes a lot of money to people look at the wrinkles in his face. He looks like he s 70 years old. His wrinkles are not your regular wrinkles on your face. his wrinkles is from stress and being in debt, and taking advantage of people, not knowing when somebody s just gonna sneak up on him well, well well Montoya you messed up this time you re gonna act like you talk to Zelle in front of my face took my respect for weakness you think you know me you think you know what I m capable of doing you don t understand America do you money talk people like you walk well, after I m done, you ll be crawling

My car broke down on December 31 in the parking lot of Rockaway Mall. I looked for a local auto repair shop and found Montoya Auto Service. When I explained the situation, Mr. Montoya came to the mall to help me try to start the car. Since the issue could not be fixed until he got a replacement starter, he drove me, my wife and 2 kids all the way to Edgewater. Yesterday, January 1, he fixed the car and brought it to me to Edgewater. I could not have asked for a better service. Thanks so much. I highly recommend Montoya Auto Service.

They were open early the service tech was super friendly and patched my tire without issues he checked the tire and verified nothing else was damaged quick service

I went by today for a large nail in my front tire and a slow leak in the rear tire. Another problem was discovered on the rear valve. Everything was taken care of right away at a very fair price. Highly recommend this business. I ve been there a number of times over the years. Excellent service

If you have trouble to fix flat tire this is the right place to be. Freindly old man fix my rear tire early morning without any hesitation even 15 minutes before they open. Very impressive hardly working man. I salute you Sir.

A bit late on posting this review but we came in with an F-150 that was diagnosed to have a fuel pump and solenoid issue and it was fixed within the same day albeit with a bit of waiting of course. However regardless of that it was well worth it considering the quality of service provided. If you are nearby or is thinking of getting something fixed/replaced I would highly recommend their service.P.S.If you're reading this Mr. Montoya expect us to return some time in the future for break pads and wheel balancing.

Montoya s is the best shop I ve ever been to. They keep you informed throughout the process of fixing the car, and make the whole process as seamless and easy as possible. Everyone is so professional and friendly, I love them!I got my car back looking absolutely amazing, it seriously looks looks brand new...and cleaner than it was when I leased the car from the dealership!No question...you need to come here! You will be so happy you did! Wanted to add I drove all the way from Jersey city to Montoya as it just doesn t get any better than this place!Thank you, Montoya!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Today I just had the worst experience I ve ever had at an auto repair shop. I dropped my vehicle off to get checked out and was told a very overpriced amount over the phone in which I declined services. So I went to pick up my vehicle and was told they re charging me a fee (in which they never told me beforehand). So I told them I wasn t told I d be charged a fee as I m not charged a fee unless a service is performed on my vehicle. The owner then started yelling at me and not letting me even speak and told the front desk guy to call the police on me. Very distasteful and unprofessional. They will never see my hard earned money ever.

Came here for some tires and they make me feel welcome even though i came in late in the afternoon. I came here with a budget They worked with me and find what I needed great prices and service was excellent!! Ready for winter, thank you guys!!!!I Recommend this place

I got a flat tire a couple of weeks ago. The tire was new and I went to Pep Boys to get it fixed. They said it was unrepairable and told me I had to spend $350 for a new tire. I decided to take it to Montoya Tires instead and they were able to fix it for a fraction of the cost. Great and honest service!

Short review (read below for more detailed review):Montoya Auto Service is the best auto repair shop I've gone to - More than reasonably priced, speedy service, and trustworthy. RELIABLE. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend, and will be coming back for future car work. They helped me out when I was in a very difficult, last minute car trouble situation (read below for more info).Long review:On a rainy Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend, In the middle of the Corona Pandemic, I had a car full of luggage, two passengers, and was on a 6 hour, 375 mile drive from NYC to Buffalo. I made it onto I-80, just 15 minutes north of Dover, NJ when my front left tire completely popped, leaving me stranded on the interstate without roadside assistance or anyone to call for a ride - even Uber didn t have any drivers in the area!. I searched google for nearby mechanics, found three, and called the first two, neither of which picked up. I then called the third mechanic, Montoya Auto Service who literally picked up in three rings. At 9 in the morning On a rainy Saturday During Memorial Day Weekend DURING THE CORONA PANDEMIC. Mauricio from Montoya Auto drove and picked me and my passengers up himself while a tow truck brought my car back to the garage. He opened up his office, gave us freshly brewed coffee, spoke with us while the tire was very quickly changed, and gave me advice on what jack and spare tire to purchase. Above all else, once the popped tire was replaced with a new tire and the car was ready for the road, Mauricio gave me an incredibly generous cost/bill for the whole service. Had it been any other mechanic, they would easily have been able to upcharge me for the cost of the last minute service, passenger pickup, towing, and tire replacement. I got back on the road and drove the remaining 5 � hours / 300 miles to Buffalo with no other car problems. Montoya Auto Service is the best and most trusted auto repair service I ve dealt with. Would Absolutely recommend it to anyone, including new customers, like myself, who are looking for a new, trusted, and reliable auto mechanic. I will definitely come back for any repairs in the future.

It s been 15 years and every time we came they have great service! Great atmosphere and the prices are great!This is the only car repair shop I trust.I drive over 1 hour to get my car serviced there. Highly recommended!

This place is terrible, i went to get my sensors replaced and all they did was reset the lights, never got changed, they put an old batery on my car, and on top charge me for ton of stuff that they supossed change cuz I needed whitout asking me. Is a total scam. I will recommend everyone to not go there.

Be prepared to be ripped off, charge $80 for one used tire, bought two, they put unmatching sets, charged tire disposal fee and i was told my size tires run for $130 a piece (yeah if im buying good tires like continentals or goodyear)...went home checked prices and felt completely ripped off, I could have gotten the same shoddy set of tires I got at this place for half the price brand new, Im never doing business again here.

Great guys! Most likey have tire or rim you need. Montoya also provides remote starters and radios.
