We have been utilizing the expertise of Lorenzo, a private mechanic who owns Romeo s Automotive Repair in Denville, for several years. We have owned different makes and models of vehicles from various dealerships, and although the cars were often still under warranty, service departments tried to take advantage of us with phantom high priced repairs. Lorenzo diagnosed the issues and promptly repaired or adjusted the vehicles for a fair price. Whether the auto issues are simple or complex, �Lorenzo is professional, courteous, and totally reliable. We wouldn't trust our cars to anyone else.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

Nothing else that I can share about Lorenzo and his merry ,hard working team that others have not already said. Fast, reliable, and reasonable.No disappointment dealing with Romeo's Automotive; they are good with all cars, foreign and domestic, new to very old- how do I know?? I see the turnover in their lot when I go in for service.

My parents and I have been going to Lorenzo at Romeo's for over 20 years. He is the best mechanic around and his team is wonderful--efficient, hardworking, honest, reliable. Wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.

Lorenzo the owner is very very nice kind-hearted person. All my four tires were in a very had shape so i needed 4 tires he really came through for me and gave a break for 4 brand new tires good ones all season tires. God bless Lorenzo. I went there to have my transmission oil changed and as usual Lorenzo charges was a little money. As a female some Auto mechanics takes advantage of me but not Lorenzo i have never seen an honest and kind person like him. I'm lucky i live close to his shop. God bless him. Today i went to cat converter and Lorenzo did it again he gave me a very good price. He is just a nice guy. Among all the mechanics around here he has a good reputation. God bless him.

Had a water pump that was leaking really bad. This was affecting my alternator and charging. I was able to work with the owner on payments. Belts were changed and new pump was installed. Even when busy they were done in about a 4 hour time frame. As long as you make your payments if in a bind. There isn't an issue. Now looking to get the muffler done.

I was having an issue with my car for around a month. It kept making this very loud noise when I would accelerate. My friend recommended me to go to Romeos and ask for Lorenzo because he has been going there for years and says they are great. I took my car there and one of Lorenzos mechanics checked it out for me and just by hearing the noise he knew what the problem was. I came back 2 hours later and my car was fixed and ready to go. Lorenzo told me how much and I was surprised on how little it was. I will be coming here for now on for all of my automotive needs. Great people, professionals and most importantly, honest. I m grateful they are around.

Great professionals! I can't say enough about Lorenzo and the entire experience I had. Once they had a chance to look over my vehicle, they called me & took the time to go over a repair plan. These guys were so patient & explained what was a safety issue, what could wait, and worked within my budget so we could get our household back to normal ASAP. (without being down a car, or out a months pay due to an auto repair bill) Honest and truely knowledgeable. Thank you so much!

Romeo and his team exceeds the standards of professionalism, technical knowledge, customer service, and expedient service, with competitive prices. They truly make the extra effort to assist customers and ensure that their automotive needs are taken care of in a timely manner as well as communicating any issues with the customer so that there is no misunderstanding upon completion of work.Thank you, and I highly recommend Romeo and his team to ANYONE that has automotive issues.

I drove here from Colorado and had some work done before I left on the rack and pinion and lower control arms. These guys are so awesome they found what my mechanics couldn t find! Just one loose bolt that I was feeling and hearing a noise with! Thank you thank you thank you romeos automotive!! Bless you guys

I cannot speak highly enough of their work and honesty. I have been going there for over 20 years for anything beyond tires, brakes, or exhaust. Then came the eye-opener several months ago! After getting a diagnosis and high quote for "URGENT" front-end work elsewhere (a "discount" place, where I normally bought tires and oil changes), I went to Lorenzo for his second opinion and quote. He determined that NO work was actually needed! On that basis, they now have ALL my business -- and "goodbye/good riddance" to those other guys!!!Services: Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

Fantastic Mechanics! They provide great knowledgable service, but most importantly they are very honest and trustworthy. If you have a minor problem, they will tell you and charge you a minimal fee to fix it. In the many years bringing my cars there, they have always been very fair and do great work. They have a fast turn around time as well. I highly recommend them!

Lorenzo and his team of mechanics are very capable, dependable and honest. I have been using his services since I moved to my current home in 2000. At one point my 7 year old Ford minivan broke down and the engine needed to be replaced. Lorenzo recommended that I replace the engine (at a very affordable price) and that minivan had another 6 years left in it... got all my kids through high school and partway through college, until I traded it in in 2008 for "cash for clunkers" and got back the cost of my initial engine replacement. What a great investment! Never been disappointed with the service or prices in all these years.

Romeo's' may be one of the most customer service oriented professionals I have ever encountered. Fair, honest, and friendly. My car was making some noise and I thought for sure it was something big...turns out it was nothing. They didn't even charge me to look at it - and did an oil change for next to nothing. In a week when the plumber gouged me, the electrician turned what was supposed to be a 1/2 hour call into 3 hours, and I waited on the phone for 30 minutes for a Nordstrom "customer service rep" - I can't tell you how much I appreciate their honesty and professionalism. Yeah, it's not pretty - but I don't go to a car shop to get a latte. I appreciate that their low overhead yields low prices for me. My father went to them 20+ years ago - and always said they were the best in the business. Am I glad they are still around! Good job and a sincere thanks to everyone at Romeo's! You guys ROCK!

Can t recommend highly enough. I was the annoying first Caller of the day, you know when just get there and phones already ringing. Well the oil change I had been putting off since June (we re in March) I decided needed to be immediately tended to. I was told to bring it over and I did. When I informed one of the guys of the issue . He wasn t fazed. At this point I knew these ppl were not only experienced in their trade but have learned that us estrogen bearing people simply do dumb stuff with vehicles, and that s unlikely to change, so trying to make sense out of it is pointless. Fast, efficient, filled my washer fluid no charge. And I left with a receipt for the oil change. Thats it. No critical issues list of things that need immediate repair or I ll likely meet an untimely death. One in a million. That saying was created for places like this.Service: Oil change

I called at 9am on a Wednesday asking if they could swap a battery on a car, even though they seemed extremely busy, they said yes they will squeeze it in by the end of the day. To my surprise, it was done and ready to be picked up 2 hours later with no hassle no strings attached. I called Romeos after my turbo went in my car,they took my car in on that friday afternoon and I got it back the following monday with a full explaination of why my turbo blew and it was fixed. Other mechanics wouldn't take me until the following week. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants professionaI, efficient and fast service.

Lorenzo and his crew are great: reliable, trustworthy, fair and quick. The place is always packed - and for good reason. As someone pointed out, the place is full of cars across the spectrum, including Mercedes and BMW, and yes your common beater. Best kept secret in Denville.

Everything you want in car service, cheap and great quality. I went there for lug nut bolts, they did a great job and gave me the best quote for breaks on my other car compared to a few other places I asked in the area.

Showed up on a 100 degree day with the air conditioning not working in my Jeep. Although they were hecticly busy, one of the managers dropped what he was doing to check for leaks and recharge my system in the parking lot to fix the problem. Great people.

Lorenzo runs a too notch auto repair service! His prices are fair and his workers are skilled. I have had complete confidence in him over the years I have dealt with him.
