I maintained vehicles for a small boiler repair shop and I used Alex for my transmission needs, and still do. His knowledge of transmissions and vehicles is impressive. And how hard he works to keep prices reasonable! I've never had a problem on any of my vehicles (suvs and light body trucks) that used one of his rebuilt transmissions. I had my transmission rebuilt last year by another place I will not mention their name but I had nothing but problems with it I finally gave up, this place had no clue what they were doing. I found AB Automotive Transmissions through a Facebook ad. At first I was skeptical due to my last experience, so I needed to make sure this guy was legit. They patiently answered all my questions and I could tell that this guy knew his stuff, this was the place to go. Alex rebuilt my transmission for my F150 and it runs smooth like a baby bottom. I recommend him without any reservations good quality good cost.Service: Transmission

had a very short interaction with them over the phone. called about a problem and they told me exactly what to do over the phone and were honest enough to tell me that they unfortunately weren't staffed enough for the job right there and then but pointed me in the correct direction. I was speaking with previous mechanics and they pointed me in one direction but having a completely different mechanic know what your problem is and then explain to you how the results should look like and pointing you in the right direction is sadly something not done too often.

Poor workmanship on my 200 4R transmission. It failed with roughly 150 miles after the supposed rebuild. Alex did not honor his warranty with an additional charge on the second rebuild.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Call for a estimate he was very nice on the phone , said he knows exact what I wanted and will call me by the end of the day witt the price .....two weeks and did not hear from him yet ....
