I recently had a deeply unsettling experience with Lakeview Auto Corp in Clifton, NJ, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with their alignment service.On 11/28/2023, I visited Lakeview Auto Corp, following the recommendation of a Costco representative, to have the alignment on my 2018 Mercedes GLS450 checked after replacing all four tires at Costco. From the outset, I noticed a significant decline in my vehicle's road stability, attributing it initially to the new tires.However, my concerns escalated when, on two separate occasions, my car spun out of control while changing lanes, posing a serious safety risk to myself and my passengers. The first incident occurred on wet roads, and I assumed it was due to water on the pavement. Yet, the second incident happened on a completely dry road, raising alarming concerns about the quality of the alignment service provided by Lakeview Auto Corp.Upon further inspection, I discovered that my front tires, which were brand new with an 80K warranty, were bald on the inside after merely 4,000 miles of driving. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of Lakeview Auto Corp, their mechanic and manager insisted that their alignment was correct and blamed my car's suspension.I sought second opinions from two different shops, including the Mercedes dealership, both of which confirmed that the alignment performed by Lakeview Auto Corp was grossly incorrect. This inconsistent and negligent service not only jeopardized my safety but also subjected me to unnecessary expenses and inconvenience.In light of my experience, I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering Lakeview Auto Corp for alignment services. The lack of accountability and refusal to acknowledge their error demonstrates a concerning disregard for customer safety and satisfaction.I am profoundly disappointed and dissatisfied with Lakeview Auto Corp's service and sincerely hope that others can learn from my unfortunate experience.

I ve been using Lakeview Auto for about 3 years now and I couldn t be happier with their service! They ve fixed my A/C, replaced brakes and rotors, and have performed multiple oil changes on my 2011 Ford Fusion. They are always able to accommodate me way sooner than I expect - same day for oil changes!The staff is also friendly and welcoming. I ve never once felt like I was being taken advantage of for my lack of auto knowledge like I have with other auto shops in the past. Prices are very reasonable. Good service. I dropped the car off and got a call from them a few hrs later so they can explain the issue. The person who called me explained in full detail what was wrong with the car, why the problem was occurring, and what had to be changed. They were organized throughout the whole process.

First time using Lakeview. I got new brakes and rotors for my Honda Pilot. Used my Costco membership to get a small discount. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I love how they videoed what was wrong on my car and made an appropriate suggestion. Prices were definitely reasonable and beat Honda s prices significantly. Appointment was made quickly. Lack of customer service skills. Whoever answered the phone on 10/30 at 4:50 pm Hung up on me me before answering my questions. If they can't get the basics right how can you trust them for anything else?

This is one of the best auto shops in the area. They get things done really quickly and the work is fault proof. Prices are more than reasonable and you never have to worry about bad parts. I go here for my oil changes and any car maintenance I may need. Germin is very honest and kind. I would definitely recommend this business to my friends, family!The customer service experience was great, I brought my car in for a diagnostic check to see what work was needed. They found some normal wear and tear issues and also recommended a tuneup. I came back with my car a couple days later and the work was done to my satisfaction on time as promised. I was also satisfied with the total cost.Thanks Germain! I'll be back for all my auto repair needs!

I brought in my 2009 Mazda 5 to Lakeview Auto for A/C service, with the expectation that the compressor would have to be replaced. Upon thorough diagnosis, Germain recommended replacing both compressor and condenser. Condenser was completely corroded - shown via a video message that Germain shared. Cost of A/C repair/replacement was as expected, however I think I got a great deal considering I was provided with an honest service and high quality of workmanship. Thank you Germain and his crew to help me squeeze additional life out of my 13yr old car! I will definitely come back for future automotive ailments.Service: Air conditioning

I have been going to this place for a year I go there for my car and I take my friends car too. I thought at first experiences that this is it. This will be the place for all my Mecanic needs. Then today my experience was the worst ever. I felt like a no-valued customer. I took one of the cars that I did alignment for back in October and I remember that the alignment they did took 15 min. The reports that was given to me was showing numbers for sides still need to be adjusted. Anyways I saw the report as I was driving away and I was busy I never returned. Today I went to do oil and oil filter maintenance for same car and I told them about what happens with the alignment and that the car shakes at 60 and above. They said they will check. I was comforted first I thought will fix it today. Then when they called me to tell me they are done. The guy said we did check alignment and said that I was right and the car needs alignment, and that the alignment that passed 2 months has no warranty now. And that I have to pay again. I felt betrayed but I said now I stay positive and fix it. I asked him to fix it then he said it has to be another day now we are busy and my car was there already hooked up. UNBELIEVABLE.

Had a job interview at 6 but the place was closed since 5:30. Complete waste of my time and money! I spent 15 dollars on a Uber for this job interview and the place wasn't even open! Can't believe I feel for this scam and I am very disappointment in the customer service!

Great service!! Staff is professional and really know what they're doing. Been taking my car to Germin for over 10 years and when they moved locations I followed. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else! They are the only ones I trust to do work on my car. Never had any issues. 10/10 would recommend!!

I became aware of Lakeview Auto Corp via my fianc� who received services from this business and expressed good things. Let me tell you the moment I walked inside Germin was very welcoming and made the process of understanding my car troubles and explaining to me in detail so smooth. Germin and his staff are very professional. I took my car on a Monday morning and by the afternoon my car was ready, he fixed the front struts and detailed in writing everything else my car needs to be worked on along with the prices, and the best thing it is affordable to me. Germin also gives you coupons for a percentage off for your next service, what mechanic does that nowadays? I highly recommend to receive services from Lakeview Auto Corp, you will not regret it, my car feels so smooth now and I will definitely be back.Service: General repairs & maintenance
