I Am a business owner a town over from this location and I never treat clients or argue like this man did. The owner of this establishment has Horrible customer service and no people skills. Yesterday I came here for service and the owner had my car disassembled with out having the right glass to fit to replace my broken glass. I had to go to another glass shop in Long Island city to pick up a glass after making various glass calls. After going to get the glass fitted in Long Island city, I notice that there were pieces missing from when they disassembled my car yesterday. So I had to the buy glass and bring it back Jimmy s glass to get it mounted, then jimmy was trying to argue with me when I was trying to tell him to have better customer skill service for a better understanding. Horrible services I wouldn t recommend to ANYONE!Services: Installation, Auto side window replacement

Do not go to this place I repeat don't go. They rob me for my money. I went to replace one of the glass from double sided windows. The guy tells me he has to charge me for two sides. I thought about it because why replace both side hen only one side it broken so i said ok. When I pick up the widow he said he replace both sides but why ? . I wanted to keep the extra piece that i paid for since their was only one glass broken from the double sided windows. You would think that would make since right ? NO. He said he throw out away the glass that wasn't broken WHY ? Why replace a glass that not broken. He charge me 60 dollars to make 2 glass and repair the one that wasn't broken and the one that was. My question is why am I paying for something that not broken and why don't i get to keep the spare that i clearly paid for. If you want to come here feel free and waste your money

Needed a glass replacement for a commercial door. In less than 24 hours they came out to see it, and the next morning replaced it. Price was excellent, work was excellent, and great customer service. Highly recommend.

Terrible experience im not recommending i call Jimmis glass for large size glass i ask for price it s took them two days to give me a priceIt was $3000 i said no problem i want it so they send two guys to install the frame the ask for deposit of $1000 and they said it s gonna take a couple of weeks to get a glass I said ok , and than 3 days later I m receiving call from them that they cant get that size glass because of the oven is broke ! I wasn t happy, but it is what it is ,so i said give me my deposit so i can move on find somebody else, this is what they said we spend $700 to install the frame , so you only get $300 !! so they forcing me to keep the frame which I don t need it because the other companies can get the the glass with a different size I think this is crazy !!!! so please beware before you get service from this place!!!!!Service: Installation

I needed a new windshield and Jimmy's was a little better on price than other glass repairs shops so I left my car off at 9AM. I was told it would be finished by 2pm. I called at 2 and was told it was not ready and they will call me when it is. I got a call about 4, and was told the car is ready but there is a problem, I asked what is the problem and was told we will tell you when you pick up the car. This sounds like a "What could possibly go wrong scenario". I went to get my car and was told when the side moldings which runs from the windshield to the back side window were removed to install the windshield a gust of wind blew both doors closed. I don't see how that is possible since wind comes from one direction at a time and the doors are on opposite sides of the car. Jimmy did not charge me the $425.00 for the windshield and promised to pay to replace the side moldings. However when he found out the moldings painted and installed cost about $900.00 he changed his mind realizing not charging me $425.00 was cheaper than paying for the molding. I have a free new windshield and cracked molding. They did a reasonable job gluing the molding back together, but this was not what he promised. AVOID JIMMY'S GLASS IN CLIFFIDE PARK NJ.!!!!!!!!!!!!!Service: Auto windshield replacement

I am so disappointed. I just needed to replace the single pane Glass in my aluminum house window and the glass is fixed now. But the window glazing work is awful. I had to buy glaze and fix it myself after I paid $60. 00 and wasn't even offered a receipt. The guy just kept complaining about how difficult it was for him to glaze. It was not Jimmy. It was a guy who works for him. Plus, I just found out that I could have had it done for $35.00 at the hardware store where I bought the glaze.

as you walk in their office, the mess scares you. that is pretty much how they apparently run this business, very messy and disorganized with zero customer service skills. When the installers eventually showed up 5 weeks later than promised, they did a good job

Love this place they did a good job except they left glass in my car!!!!!! which is why i m giving 4 stars. the glass cut my finger too. kind of unprofessional

I have been using Jimmy's glass for many years now. From a cracked windshield to replacement mirrors for furniture and even custom work for my home. They never disappoint and always have fair pricing. Highly recommend them for all your glazing needs. Tell them I sent you!

Terrible experience I needed a shower glass and being they are local to me I figured I'd give them a shot. So when call a lady answers and I tell her what I need. Next I ask when will someone come out to measure for the glass and she responds with I don't know. She follows with someone will call you I don't the installers schedule. I said ok so will I get a call today and she says no, so I say tomorrow and she says no. She says someone will call you to set it up for this week. I called on a Tuesday and did not receive a call until the following week I told the guy no thanks I found someone. I have no idea if its always like this or it was this one random time but for it sucked and I moved on.

Might as well wait for Mother Nature to make your glass before these people do. Slow, aloof, unlrofessional and indifferent. Pricing depends on their mood for that day. Do business with them at your own peril.I waited for about 5 weeks for a simple order, which they kept making excuses for not completing. Finally, after hearing every excuse in the book, I told them to keep their glass and that I did not want to do business with them.

Well after finally getting the work done my windows started leaking. I would say I called around 5 times over a few months time. The leak almost started a fire and I had to call an electrician in to cut the lines by the window (at my cost). Finally they sent someone to look and said they would be back to fix the leaks. They never came and now they're not even taking my calls.

I was so disappointed by this store. I have used Jimmy's glass for everything in my house car and at my jobs so this year I thought I would be nice and get my pregnant sister a tabletop for one of her pieces at her office to my disappointment I ordered the peace 2 weeks before Christmas so that I would be able to have it in place before the holidays to my very very disappointmentI asked somebody to go pick up the pieces after giving my card information over the phone to pay for it I found out that they did not even have the glass he gave me a specific time to come it.. I ended up with nothing and had to call another store... So disappointed never again... Make sure u check ur item is there at least a day or before you go pick up here.... And the worst part is the owner said I was rude and unpleasant because I was upset over the fact that they didn't even call and tell me they didn't have the piece and then she said she thought she had more time and could get away with it... So unprofessional.

The worst place ever!!!!! So unorganized and irresponsible!!!! A waste of your time!!!! Save your time and money!!! I called Monday to set up an estimate appt for Wednesday between the hrs of 9am-1pm. Wednesday came by and it was 1220 and no sign of them. I gave them a courtesy call to check their status and the woman Joanne said my appt was for Tuesday (yesterday). I corrected her and told her we both agreed for Wednesday. She then checked her schedule book and did see my appt was for today. She said well the repair guys overlooked your appt and no one is available right now. I find it freaking incredible these people feel we don't have a life and errands to run. I explained to her I stayed home all day waiting for them to come. She said go run your errands and we will call you when someone is around your area. I never got a phonecall. Goes to show you their courtesy and respect level.

First I ca ll them 3 times and they they would come by and never show up. Last time they were here they did a horrible job, but I wanted to hired them to give them a second chance but no more. I would never recommend them they are unreliable and do mediocre work

Process was super easy to get my windshield replaced. I just dropped off my car before 9am and it was ready before 12pm. Price was also good.

Not helpful at all. They took the window parts and never finished the replacement. I had to call at least 15 times before giving up.. eventually found another company which did it in two trips, simple.

I watched the driver of their trucks throw a full cup coffee out the window. It landed on my property. If they cant even respect the environement and other peoples property how can they respect your business?
